AS-IS I understand , but you cannot mis-represent what is being sold to a customer. The vehicle was also not PRICED to represent 2 accident and a void Volkswagen warranty. I was told it only had 7000 miles, so it would be under warranty. Complaints have been made to BBB, Georgia motor vehicle and the state. I received a picture around 2pm with my car finally loaded onto the back of a truck bed, then a call that stated he was on the way and he would be charging me more because some trouble he had. Which I was puzzled. By the time he arrived which was right at 4 (not the original time of 11:30).I asked why was I charged more since we had agreed to $150. He stated he had to do more to the vehicle since I didn't have keys and the tires are big (which he knew and even came to the vehicle and quoted me a price the day before). I stated that as a business owner, If anything changes in price, you contact the person beforehand and not while the car is in tow to tell them of a $50 price difference and to see if the customer wants to proceed. The driver did get loud with me and stated that he had taken good care of my vehicle and delivered it properly ( but aren't you supposed to? You're getting paid for a service. You aren't working for free). I ended up paying $30 instead of $50 more.. and to be honest, I only did it because he towed it to my residence and I wanted him out my hair. I will not be using this company again. Don't agree to a price then change it without Contacting a person beforehand to make them aware of changes.
