I normally don't submit reviews, but every now and the I find myself going back to the same places because of my complete satisfaction with a particular retailer or service company. Car Stereo Outlet is one of these. I've had several stereos and nav systems installed by Car Stereo Outlet (so I've given them ample opportunity to fail or succeed): 1. Complete Alpine system in a 1992 Alfa Romeo Spyder (easy install) 2. Complete Alpine system in a 1966 Galaxie (remote glovebox install) 3. Pioneer Avic 930 BT system w/rear camera and Sirius in a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII 4. Pioneer Avic 910 BT system w/ rear camera in a 2006 Ford F-150 5. Pioneer Avic 940 BT system w/ rear camera, amp, camera, and Sirius in a 2002 Lexus GS 430 6. Sirius in a 2008 Lexus ES 350. Price: In every instance, Car Stereo met or beat the lowest prices I found on the internet and severely undercut Houston big box stores. Their installation prices are low as well, especially for the quality. Workmanship: Each install has been perfect and I've been more than satisfied. The installations all appear to be like professional factory installations, but the sound quality substantially better. If you value the looks, fit and finish of your car and stereo, Car Stereo Outlet is the place to go. Service after the sale: I did encounter two problems. One was an FM reception problem and Car Stereo Outlet swapped out the head unit in 40 minutes with no questions asked. The other was a fuse issue that occurred one year after the sale. I do not know what these other reviews are talking about. These guys are great! I trust them and have been going to them for years to get my stuff installed.Obviously if you cheap out and go with cheap RCAs, you are going to get a lot of noise. I took my car here a few months ago and got a double din, speakers, and an alarm installed. They explained everything that was going to happen and I got a loaner car for the day because it was going to take a while. I am writing a review months later because I had a problem with one of my speakers. John and Ali said it was no problem, that I had a year warranty on product and lifetime warranty on installation. I went on a Saturday afternoon and unfortunately they were busy to take me in immediately, but I understood. Left my car there, and 30min later they had the problem fixed. Quick for a busy Saturday afternoon! These guys are great, they know what they are doing, they have been doing in for 15 years, and I see the way they handle customers. I hope this doesn't seem like a paid review because it's not. In fact, I actually know some of the people on the google reviews. They go there often and LOVE the work done. The sales and installation team at Car Stereo Outlet knew exactly what was needed for my truck and John even tried to explain why the system I wanted might be a bit overkill for the sound vs $$ spent. I've used Best Buy and Car Toys for other applications and received good service from both, but when it comes to the high end equipment, the guys at Car Stereo Outlet have the expertise I'm looking for to help make the decision right for me. I'm also all about getting what I'm looking for as soon as I know exactly what it is, and CSO has the good stuff in stock ready to install. I still went with the high end Fosgate Power Series and feel I paid a very reasonable price for the subs, amp, wiring, controller and installation. I was able to make clear comparisons and decide on my next 2 buys -Focal Expert Series component door speakers and an Alpine 900 series receiver, nav system. i am from out of state and i luckily saw this place and went in there and i got two 8 inch mojo midrange driver speakers for half price that i could not find anywhere else. it made my system so awesome that i am scared i am gonna go def now. i got one thousand watt 4 channel amp on 4, 6.5 driver speakers up front and 4, 8 inch driver speakers in the back. and i got 2 thousand watt amp on 2 twelve L7 solo baric. with a 2 way kicker crossover at the end of my arm rest at my finger tips so i can always fine tune every song in just 2 seconds. when i tell u this set up is the shit. and CAR STEREO OUTLET helped me with the recommondation 8 inch mojo driver speakers and that is what did it. now when i go back to houston in a month i will stop at CAR STEREO OUTLET and get 2 one thousand watt 8 inch subwoofers to finish my full sound system at CAR STEREO OUTLET because i know they will have the lowest prices anywhere read more

I have been a loyal Car Stereo Outlet customer since 2012. Yesterday, Jan. 14, 2017, I visited Car Stereo Outlet again, as I needed to replace the remote on my car security system and have the cords to my backup camera repaired. Like before John and Ali were still there, and they remembered me. Again, like before, they took care of me professionally, treating me like I was the only one who mattered to them. Again, I HIGHLY rate this store. Unlike other vehicle audio/video stores, which may or may not be in business a few years from now, Car Stereo Outlet is still there, with the same ownership. Car stereo outlet has done a great job on my Lexus truck. My kids love the tvs and the headset. The truck didn't have the nav and media package and I bought it used. I got a great deal and got two tvs, a kenwood nav unit, backup camera, Bluetooth. The cool.thing is that I can do two zones and let the kids watch their stuff while we listen to music.
