I called that same day trying to find someone to detail it and Perry was able to be there within an hour. To top it off, I was in minor car accident when I was driving over to meet him for payment. He immediately came to the scene, guided me through the information exchange, and stayed with me until the police arrived. Tim was also recommended by one of his neighbors who I am close friends with and trust. My car smelled like cigarettes even though no smokers are ever in my car. Opened the hood and noticed a huge pink blob. Turns out the plastic hose to the radiator was broken and I have been leaking coolant. Tim gave me the diagnosis, found a local store that carried my Toyota parts and had Gustavo repair that hose and another one. Took about three hours so I went home and got a ride back. Tim, Marie and Gustavo were super pleasant and helpful. It wasn't cheap but certainly reasonable and I prefer a job well done and trustworthy honest people first and foremost. I was trying to find the auto repair shop at 2850 Prosperity Ave which is actually a great place and I have gone there often for great service. I accidentally parked in their parking lot and thought " ok I'm here let me give them a chance"..... well I went to the front desk a woman behind the desk who looks to be about 50 years old and a cigarette smoker was very rude about not having time to take my car. NOW GOOD BUSINESS would be to say- We can't take your car now but why don't you come back at X time on X day, but this woman just turned me away so they apparently don't want money or business since they just turned me away in a rude way. So I hope this review helps them not make money since they apparently don't want it. My recommendation is get a new front desk lady and if that's the owner....... oh boy. I actually hope that's the owner because I'd hate to think an employee would be so destructive to a company and make them loose business

This left damage to my front bumper, driver's side fender, and driver's side fog light. AK automotive gave me the best estimate compared to another body shop next door. When I entered, the owner greeted me and treated me with kindness and respect. He accompanied his technician and I to see my car and evaluate the damage which I appreciated. The sheet he provided which summarized my estimate was very straightforward, clearly outlining what I would be charged for in parts paint and labor. The other shop gave me a several page long estimate full of convoluted terms and charges. AK Automotive gave me no fine print charges just clear honest business! I dropped my car off the same day and they had it done two days later! They replaced my front bumper and driver's side fender, replaced my fog light, and painted my front bumper, driver's side fender, and door. The paint job is a perfect match! My car looks brand new as they also gave it a nice wash! They charged me exactly what the estimate stated. They also ended up not needing a part for the repair so they deducted the price of that part from my total. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with AK Automotive. The owner seems to take pride in his business and gives fair and honest pricing for services. The technicians are professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (i had many). I hope to not need car repairs anytime soon, but I will certainly do business with AK automotive in the future if I do need them. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone! Thank you!

Couldn't have been happier. I'd definitely recommend bringing anything body-work related to this shop. They have the best prices and the turn around time was quick. THE BAD: This might not be bad if you have a lot of money and aren't cheap like me but I was quoted for $340 over the phone and then when I brought the car in they said it would cost me $420... I didn't like that they switched the price up on me like that but it was still cheaper than any other place I went to so I accepted the $420. When I went to pick my car up, I went to their Yelp page where I initially saw their great reviews and saw that they had a 20% off coupon if you checked in at their shop. I checked in and received the 20% coupon from Yelp. When I presented it to the owner, he stated because I didn't spend over $2500, he won't give me the 20%. I told him, they should specify that on the coupon so people don't get confused. He continued to state if I had spent more money at his shop then they would honor the 20%.... What? lol. So I was able to convince him to give me a 10% off coupon instead which is still good I guess. Got $40 off instead of $80 so my total was $380 but still... Its the principle of honoring your own coupons. Anyways, they would've received 5 starts if they honored their initial over-the-phone price as well as the coupon. There work is still great though!

This dealership has made my life a living hell for months since I bought my car from them. They…read more"forgot" to give me the title when I purchased the car (after charging an exorbitant $600 "processing fee" for paperwork). When I called to demand my title, they said they still had it (illegally) and would do the car registration for me through their third-party registration service. They illegally and prematurely sent me license plates and registration, but I discovered SIX MONTHS later that they never actually registered my car with the state of Virginia. I had been illegally driving my car for months thanks to the incompetency and dishonesty of Zia and his employees. Finally, they corrected the issue after I noticed it and confirmed with DMV that my car was not registered. But Zia was incredibly rude throughout the entire process and refused to apologize (despite his employees admitting that they made a serious mistake). At this point, I'm waiting for the title to arrive in the mail and also waiting for arbitration with the Better Business Bureau and possibly small claims court as I seek a refund for the processing fee. This dealership should NOT be allowed to do business in the state of Virginia. The dealership also failed to disclose known issues with the vehicle that I purchased and my mechanic informed me that it appears they replaced only sections of certain parts with slightly less worn-out pieces (but not at all new pieces, as I had been assured). Zia and his dealership has acted illegally and incompetently on many fronts and I am confident that arbitration will lead to my refund of at least the processing fee, but I would caution you to RUN from this dealership and never do business with them.
