Very impressed. I initially had a bit of hesitation based on other reviews. After speaking with Jake, I felt comfortable having him work on my 2022 Benz. He hardwired my radar and did a fantastic job with the install; it looks absolutely perfect. For me, the true test is when you drive away and all the warning lights do not go crazy--no issues. I felt that even if there had been issues, being a larger company, they would stand behind their work. My only feedback is that they don't always answer the phone. I found myself having to wait 20-30 minutes before trying again and getting someone. I feel their prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for, and I would rather not risk it. I plan to have a DSP Amp and speakers installed next, (unless they come in unreasonably expensive). Overall still 5 Stars read more

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I've been coming this store in Parker for a few years for various small projects and I have never felt anything but a sincere desire by the employees to do the right thing. They've installed replacement speakers into my Saab, helped us rekey a Subaru with an after-market immobilizer, and helped us pick out a replacement stereo for our mininvan. The prices were not cheap, but not completely unreasonable either. read more

Shop here if you want to deal with the most dishonest organization I've ever seen. They didn't know how to install the alarm installation and ended up doing damage to my brand-new truck. Over the span of 9 months I took my new truck back to them 30 times. each time they promised to fix the failures but ended up lying to me by telling me it was fixed. I finally asked for a refund. It took me calling them for an additional 7 months to get them to finally send me a check. Now I have to take them to small claims court to get a refund on the $500 worth of damage. They said they would refund me and that 6 months ago. If you want to get screwed over by all means take your care to Car Toys. These people are absolutely the worst scam artist. I gave Car Toys over $1,000 to purchase a stereo and install and almost one year later, after 14 trips back to their store for help, I am forced to go to small claims court. After multiple attempts to "work with them" they could not get it to work. Incompetence is one thing but I feel it is bigger. I feel they are slick, well trained con artists. They quote you one thing then it sky-rockets and nothing works. Watch the actual install time versus what they bill you! In my case with a never working radio they say they want to find a solution but after 14 trips to this store my radio doesn't work. BE VERY CAREFUL. Again, they are slick and well trained. They will tell you its something else you need to buy, wiring, etc. They will tell you its a tech shortage, its solar flares, its your roof rack, its a defective deck, its anything but their fault. No refunds provided yet stereo has never worked. They said its past 30 days yet I started my saga immediately after their install within 30 days. I then gave them a year to try and fix things and now they say its been over 30 days so no refund. Unbelievable. Rip Off!! See attached work orders (8 in total) to try and resolve. The technicians at Car Toys are absolutely wonderful! I had the guys at Car Toys install an autolock system on "Brady" back in Nov of 2011. Not much maintenance other than battery replacement required. It worked superbly, never had an issue. Welcome 2020, the year of "now what could possibly happen". I replaced the key fob batteries when, wowza, alarms galore. I couldn't get my Jeep to shut up. Then it did. Silence. The autolock and alarm feature was kaput. So thinking I blew a fuse, I called on the guys to have them run a diagnosis and an hour later Ryan called with the good news. It was that darn battery. How embarrassing! The locks and alarm are working, and "Brady" is once again the love of my life. Thanks so much to Ryan for his assistance and time and to the service desk guys for understanding and not allowing me to feel like a dork (even though I was super red in the face behind my mask). Had a remote start, an amp, and a 12 installed. Got the car back and the car won't stay running if you open the door. The regular key fob will no longer open the driver door. Autostart fob won't unlock any of the other doors. Was told it's just a limitation of the car, so I've dealt with it for the last year. Had a friend just have the same stuff done elsewhere to an identical car and magically all their stuff works. I wouldn't be writing this review if I didn't have an additional horrible experience here. It has been bugging me ever since. I brought my car in at 8am for the Signature Detail, $219.99. They call me 5 hours in and say they are almost done but need to increase it to the $349.99 service because there was pet hair. So I approved it. Then the guy calls me like 2 hours later and says they found mold and were going to charge an additional $200, so $549.99. At this point I realized I was getting scammed, so I asked for a picture of this mold. They sent me a picture of inside a cup holder where the tin had scratched the plastic and said "isn't this mold"? I was like "no, that's not mold, that's where a can scratched the plastic" - they said they were almost done and needed to charge the $200 anyway because they had used anti-mold stuff on it, thinking it was mold. I told them to stop the work right where they were and I would be there in 10 minutes (it was now 6pm). It became blatantly apparent they had never started the work, but raced to do something in the 10 minutes before I got there. The interior plastic and leather trim were still wet with spray cleaner, nothing else was done, but they must have sprayed the leather in the doors with windex or something and wiped it (so it's all stretched out now). They did literally nothing else. No vacuum, nothing. They had managed to spray the windshield and the inside doors, nothing else. Such liars. I told them to cancel the service. Extremely disappointed. Upsold me on a LOC, kept my truck all day, never called about completion. Arrived 1 hour before closing to find the LOC malfunctioning, subs not hitting at expected frequency, amp goes into safe mode and shuts down. Unable to correct the issues as they are closing in an hour. They expect me to leave my truck with them for another full day next week to get it fixed. There's no reason this shouldn't have been completed correctly the first time after having my truck for 9 hours! Now I have to be without a vehicle for another 9-12 hours so they can attempt to correct the issues. I have to spend more money to get a ride and be without my vehicle. Completely unacceptable. They are supposed to be professionals yet were unable to complete a simple amp install correctly in 9+ hours. They will get an opportunity to correct the issues next week. If unable I will expect a full refund and will go somewhere else. Absolutely disappointing! ***UPDATE*** They had my truck for another full day.... subs still don't sound right. Bass where there shouldn't be bass missing where it should be. Still going into safe mode. DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS TO THESE PEOPLE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Nothing but excuses. I had them install a new radio. The install was done nicely. But I think the labor rate was pretty high. they charged me $375 for installation on a radio and back up camera. Felt that was a little high but what the heck do I know. Before the install I asked about Sirius XM being added. He told me $300 for labor and $75 for the tuner. I know nothing about car installation. I bought a tuner for $50 bucks online and had it installed in an hour. If I can do it in an hour and I had to stop to watch you tube videos I think they were screwing me on their labor prices. read more

The worst thing about it was that an employee was in the store saw me knocking on the door but just decided to ignore me. I started till they opened and all he could say was sorry. I went here to get a sub, amplifier, and carplay in my car and everything was fine until i realized the sub just wasn't as much power as i had wished but didn't think anything of it. Fast forwards month later i got a new car after just a month after so, i took the amplifier and sub out of my old car to put in the new one. Well i went and they quoted me $600 almost $700 to install and said i needed some extra part that would cost extra. I was pissed i had just paid 1500 a month ago and now i have to pay another 600. So i called the Car Toys in Lone Tree and they got it done for me for $200 no extra parts needed. Makes me wonder how much i over paid when they did my first car. Brought a stereo I won in a raffle to them to have it installed. They quoted me $367 JUST FOR THE INSTALL and told me it was bc they had to bypass the amp and take the seat out to do so. The charged me $30 just to see if they'd need to do the amp bypass. Long story short-I went to PDA in Littleton and got it installed for less than $100 and it took less than 45 minutes. It was clear to me that these guys at Car Toys are out to gauge their customers and are so busy they can price themselves out of the market as a big middle finger to the customer in need of some professional help. And this after I've bought at least three stereos and had them installed in other vehicles over the last two years. Congratulations, Car Toys. Christian, the manager, was absolutely amazing in the way he treated me and the job he did on my car stereo amplifier. The car toys on Mississippi in Aurora were very rude, messed up the wiring, asked my girlfriend where she thought they should put the amplifier because we could not have it on the right side of the car due to car damage. Regardless of that, they put it there. The Mississippi store said there is no other place to put it. Christian at this parker store found a place quite quickly and was out in about 40° temperature for a few hours mounting and installing this for us and absolutely no charge due to the severe irresponsibility of the Mississippi store. This car toys in Parker was out of my way but well well well well worth it at the way Christian Treated me and the job he did and the repairs he did. I would have driven 500 miles to Go there again. I had purchased a Joye Apple Car play module for my car on the internet. I found a installer who claimed they could install the system. After 2 days the gave up and left me with a system that wasn't wired correctly and didn't work. I called a number of auto stereo stores and non of them were willing to instal it. I called CarToys and talked with Andy one if there managers, who had me come in and his staff checked out the system. Jacob had experience with similar systems and said he could get the job done. He did what no other installer was willing to do and got my system operating properly. I can highly recommend Cartoys as they are true professionals who did what other car stereo installers wouldn't and couldn't do. read more

Straight up lied to us. Sold us a stereo that was supposed to have a $150 mail in rebate, but when I went to file for the rebate found out the promo was only good till October 1, 2017. We bought the stereo the last week of December, 2017. I will give them one star for our specific customer service experience, one star for speed and care of install. I'm taking another star away since I was the one who had to review my own invoice and have them remove a few hundred dollars worth of labor that was never done and materials that were never used; things on the original work order "just in case." I won't tell you to stay away from Car Toys or this location, but I will warn you to keep your eyes and ears open. Ask lotof questions. And don't deal with more than one person. UPDATE - SCREWED AGAIN! My doctor doesn't work on my car and my mechanic doesn't work on my body. I go to the so called "experts" for parts, service, or answers to my questions because that's what EXPERTS are for! Thought I'd give these idiots a chance after a few years; big mistake. Needed a SIMPLE speaker replacement. They couldn't get me an appointment. No biggie, I'll do it myself. I'm perfectly capable and I have the tools. Told them the make, model, and year of the truck, bought the speakers - speakers don't fit! Wrong size, wrong hole pattern, everything. Honest mistake maybe? If I could give a negative star review I would. Two years ago we took my husband's car for a Groupon interior detail. They did an amazing job even washed the outside which wasn't included and conditioned the leather. Since our previous experience was so great I decided to purchase another two Groupons for interior detail. I will admit I made an assumption that I would receive the same great service again but After less than an hour of having my car Car Toys called to say it was done, which was a shock as they told me they would probably be keeping it until 6:00. When I showed up to pick it up, I was less than impressed. It was dirty, my mats were thrown in the back instead of being put back in their proper place. When putting the mats back in place I found dirt in several areas that was missed or ignored, including my third row and trunk area. When I was approached by sales rep I told him I was disappointed and pointed out the areas of concern, he then got the detailer who proceeded to give me an excuse that the Groupon changed and all it includes is a quick wipe down and vacuum. For $80, a quick wipe down and vacuum is a complete ripoff! The manager, Christian then came out and proceeded to give me the same excuse, he asked me to come inside so he could assist me but when inside he proceeded to argue with me and tell me that they would never do what I was expecting especially not for a Groupon. I told him about my previous experience and he looked up my account, His response was your last detail was in May 2018, they change the Groupon. He suggested I call Groupon to get a refund. As I walked out I said I'd be leaving a yelp review. The manager than proceeded to follow me out of the store yelling what's your name, what's your name so I can look for your review. All I wanted was for them to offer to wipe it down again but that was never offered only excuses as to why the work was so shoddy. On my way home my husband called to check on me as the manager had called his phone instead of mine, even though my number was listed as the contact number on the paperwork. He leftthe following message. "Hey this is Christian over at car toys in Parker this is a message for Josh. Your wife just picked up the car and she's pretty upset and yelling at us and what not so I just wanted make sure I reached out to you that way if you have any questions or you kinda want to get the story of what was going on please feel free to reach out to me. I also want to give you a heads up before you get a phone call yourself about what's going on so you're not unprepared." It is appalling to me that the manager called my husband to tattle on me when it was my car and my money that paid for the detailing. I am not a stupid, or irrational woman but Christian sure thought I was. I expected to receive the service I paid for and expected them to make it right, not once did they offer to fix the uncleared areas. Wow! What did I miss? All the negative 1 star reviews. I have been taking my car to CT for the past two years and have had nothing but positive experiences. Starting back when they tuned my stereo and Amp free if charge in the parking lot. I purchased it from KTC Audio and KTC did not do a good job tuning it. In 5 minutes, Christian and his tech came out and had me booming! From there, they installed 3 auto starts on each of my vehicles, made recommendations on improving my system, and made recommendations I could not be happier about. Christian and his team are solid! Only issue I have had is the latest auto start on my Infiniti short circuited my interior cab lights, but Christian has tried getting me back so they can swap my current one out free, or find what happened. The 2 star rating is pretty accurate. Walked in no one else in the store. Guy was on phone, no big deal I wondered around waiting for him to get off the phone. He did I popped out and stood in area between the sound rooms, he didn't look up from his cellphone so I wondered into the rooms seeing how far I could get in my decision making process without help. I spent about 25 minutes going from room to room looking at stereos. Never got any help. No one ever said a single word to me. We worked with the store manager, Christian, to ensure all the right parts were ordered to have Car Play added to our car. On the day for the install, items were installed but was told by the employee that there is a hole that needs to be filled because the dash kit wasn't correct & they wanted to charge us for three hours of work to fill the hole. Told them we weren't going to pay for their manager's mistake but they needed to fill the hole. Was then told they didn't have time & that their manager was on vacation so they weren't going to fill the hole or finish the work until their manager came back, which also means we would have to bring the car back. This is infuriating because it was their manager who looked at the vehicle & ordered all of the parts. When we went to pick up the car they wanted full payment & we said we'd pay half until we talked to the manager. We asked for them to call the manager. They refused so we said to take out the entire system & put back all of our original stuff but we were not paying them. They somehow have time to do that but no time to fill a $300 hole and lose an $1800 sale! Worst place ever! I will never buy from this or any other CarToys. Complete lack of customer service & customer satisfaction. I hope when the manager returns he is disappointed by his employees actions. read more

Went in on a Saturday morning to inquire about upgrading my car radio in a 10 year old car. It was an unplanned stop so had my kids with me. I was there about 5 mins before someone help.....so i thought this is a good sign. I told the salesman the most important feature i wanted in the radio but i didnt want to put a state the art radio in a car this old. He was very snotty when he asked me what my price range was as the radio i was looking at was very expensive (i felt like i was julia roberts in pretty woman when she was at the clothing store....instead i was a mom with two small kids). When i said what i wanted to spend he said go to the other room and i followed him thinking he was going to continue the conversation there....instead he went to another customer which was a man by himself. Okay maybe i wouldn't be spending as much money as one of their high end radios, but I'll never forget the look he gave me and the kids when i said what i wanted to spend.... This place is horrible this is coming from a auto repair shop that uses them for our customers "Wants" and let me tell you how it works when you drop off a car with them. Drop off a car at 10:30 am for remote start they know its coming and have all the parts and 2keys as asked for im told will be done no later then 2pm and they will get it right in as we need the car back to do some brake work ok no big deal. 2:15 pm I call up there and they just started it asking for another 4hours ARE YOU KIDDING ME OK 1ST STRIKE I tell them no way and we will come get it and drop it back off at 5 for them to finish it at this point im told only an hour left tell its finished but wait did you not just tell me that you needed 4hours OK??????? 2nd STRIKE So we drop it off at 5:15 pm and we are promised it will be done and the keys will be left in it so we can pick it up early the next morning to get it back to our shop phew what a day but wait its not even close to being OVER. 7:30 am we show up to get the car and bam no car insight its inside so I call and told someone will be there at 8 am to get the keys no one shows we get back to our shop I call back up there at 8:30am and they cant get the keys because they are locked away what is wrong with this place ok I will call back at 9am. 3RD STRIKE 9am I call and he says yes I have the keys I ask ok its done right he says I don't know what did we do ? ok really I tell him you installed remote start he says hold on let me go try it comes back on the phone and says no its not working OMG this is horrible are you for real right now? so thy ask and promise one hr it will be done im furious as you can imagine so I wait I call and hour and a half later and they ask for another hour to get it done 2 HOURS LATER its done HOLY COW people really I tell every one of my customers how bad this place is and we have over 5000 Customers. Please do yourself a favor and take it elsewhere or do it yourself you will have a better shot of doing it.. Places that do the same work Quality auto sound and Best buy both close to parker. I have taken my sons car in multiple times after paying over 2500 for car starter, amp and subwoofer. Car starter (did not work on Christmas Day for him which was a present) multiple problems, car stereo Apple Play amp and subwoofer. Over the last year. They have the car for the whole day (total 6days) only to say easy fix. When I call after five to check they still have not looked at it and then call me again in 30 minutes. It has now been 4 more days and I have not heard a word from them. Surprise, Surprise! I also contacted Ron, the manager at the Parker store, again. He promised me he would resolve the issues and would make a few calls and get right back to me. It's been 4 more days and not a single word. Car Toys has my money and now obviously, has no intention of resolving the issues they created and charged me to thousands of dollars for.
