Cavatelli and Burrata (spicy vodka sauce and burrata) - add chicken cutlet. heaven.

Such a hidden gem. The food is always incredible and service is always on point. Cute little restaurant so if wanting to go at a busier time definitely try to get a reservation. The cavatelli and burrata and pesto rigatoni are my top two pastas (love to add chicken cutlet to both as it's so thin and perfectly crispy and delicious). The baked clams and sausage and broccoli rabe egg rolls are both amazing as well!

So I recently had major surgery & my hairdresser Juanita in SEAFORD wanted to send a meal to my home for my family .Thank you Juanita for choosing Cara Mia in SEAFORD for the dinner. OMG First it was on time and steaming Hot From the sausage broccoli rabe egg rolls to the stuffed seafood clams with fresh hot bread to start. Then onto 3 different pasta dishes, veal piccata, fresh delicious salmon with steamed broccoli and topped off with the most tender chicken parm we ever experienced. Thank you Sergio and your entire crew. You made our night. ..JB

I loved this restaurant! I went with my boyfriend and sat outside and enjoyed the prettiest view. I also enjoyed that the service was prompt and that our waitress was very courteous. Finally, the food was delicious and was enough for leftovers, which I appreciated.

Came here for a nice girls night and was not disappointed. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday so we grabbed a round of drinks at the bar while we waited for a table-bartender was super friendly. I stuck to wine the whole night until dessert where I had to get the pumpkin espresso martini. I'm here for all the fall drinks and this was divine! We started with the broccoli rabe egg rolls-not my fav but the others enjoyed them. For entrees, we split the shrimp monachino-omg this dish was to die for. It was so flavorful, it was my favorite of the 3. We also got the cavatelli with burrata and the chicken saltimbocca ...the chicken was ok but would prob try something different next time but the pasta was excellent. The portions were huge, very easily split 3 ways and our server Ryan was very friendly. I would def come again.

We came here twice so I felt like it was time to give a review. The first time we sat outside during the summer in the little alleyway which was nicely decorated with string lights. The last time we went we sat inside of course. It is a quaint little Italian restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet. We jumped right into our meals this time, but last time we enjoyed the broccoli rabe egg rolls. I had the spicy rigatoni which was a spicy a la vodka sauce topped with 2 burrata balls and my husband had a fish special stuffed with lobster. We ended with cappuccinos and creme brulee which was delicious. You won't go home hungry!

In an area saturated with restaurants it is hard to find a great one let alone a great one that has been around for a while. Classy and delicious is the first thing that comes to mind. Professional and friendly service too. Large portions and a varied and interesting menu. Chicken, Veal, and a huge bowl of seafood Frutta di Mare are the stars. Well-lit yet intimate setting and tolerable noise level round out a great dining experience. Full bar and wine list reservations are a must and parking lot behind the restaurant can get crowded. Come here.

This intimate restaurant with a cute outdoor space seemed perfect for a small birthday gathering with family. Overall the food was decent, we tried the tortellini soup which was REALLY good. All the entrees were good. The flounder my MIL got was pretty small but all other meals were well portioned and came with pasta or side salad. Our waitress attempted to be nice, but I just didn't get a great vibe from her as her answers were short and at times, rude. All other staff were friendly and helpful. I'm glad we tried this restaurant but not sure I'd go back.

We had my daughter's baby shower at Cara Mia in Seaford, and it went so great that I had to write a review. Sergio is managing the restaurant and he spoke with me on the phone and met with me several times before the big day. He was patient, kind, gave me great suggestions and was very responsive. He was so flexible- every request I had was "no problem"! Jose and Ashley were working our party and they were both excellent. Their service was impeccable. They were polite, obviously very knowledgeable and efficient. The quality of the food was outstanding, as usual. Many of our guests had never been to Cara Mia before- but now it's on their list of great restaurants to eat at. Cara Mia Restaurant in Seaford is an excellent venue for a private party! Great for just a regular dinner as well

So this past Sunday we checked the website and the Sunday Family Day specials were still listed. Our family went to celebrate a birthday and planned on ordering off that menu. We were all seated and had started ordering drinks by that time so we stayed. My disappointment and frustration is the menu was and still is today as I write this, listed on the website. I believe the menu should have been honored since the restaurant is still advertising it and the same entries are and were still be offered, just at a higher price.

I don't understand the rush. We were eating the appetizer and almost done. No indication that we were in a rush. Yet he felt the need to come over again and interrupt to get the dinner order. As opposed to letting us finish the appetizer, clear table. And then come back. I know it's ingrained to flip tables. But come on. Otherwise. Highly recommend

I came here today for a communion party and throughout the entire event, the service, waiters, were all very quick and on top of things the whole time. We were seated in the patio area behind the restaurant. It was a beautiful area with hanging floral decor. The first course was family style appetizers that had a platter of clams, mozzarella sticks, eggplant rollatini and calamari with marinara. All of the appetizers I had a taste of and it was all very flavorful and delicious and well seasoned. The bread even was hot and fresh! The salad and pasta course (penne alla vodka) were very good and fresh! The waiter gave us 3 options to choose from for dinner which was Chicken Francese, Steak or a Salmon dish. I decided to go with a classic Chicken Francese. I really enjoyed it because it was a really enjoyable sauce that wasn't too heavy on the chicken and it still gave it plenty of flavor. All in all everything was great and food was so darn good!! I will definitely be returning to go for dinner one night! I'm soo glad I finally came to this establishment!

They now have valet parking, but they don't take reservations, despite what's stated on the Internet. Prices have increased and the menu has changed since our visit last year. It's a loud, mostly "smart casual" dressed crowd, and I found myself leaning over the table to enable conversation. Last year, mid-week, it was quiet. Our waitress, Julia, was articulate and very sweet. I ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, which was breaded chicken cutlets with breaded eggplant cutlets in an oily tomato sauce with de minimus infused veggies and melted mozzarella cheese on top. It came with a side dish and I chose the linguine (instead of potato/veggies), but asked for whatever sauce would come with the entrée (instead of marinara, etc.). My dish was delicious, but I became saturated after eating half of it (possibly from the oil or because the portions are so generous), so I took the other half home for another dinner. I purposely didn't order an appetizer to save a little space for dessert and coffee. That said, for starters, they put out complimentary but crude bruschetta for the four of us and they partially sliced about a six or eight inch piece of plain Italian bread in a rattan basket with pats of butter wrapped in foil. I often try the tiramisu for dessert, when available in Italian restaurants. I enjoyed theirs, despite its variant albino appearance (see photo) and flavor. The relative absence of cocoa or espresso initially made me feel as if I had ordered scotch and got a Shirley Temple, but it was still well prepared and went well with coffee.

That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option.
