fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a bread bowl special
    Paula L.

My five friends and i came here tonight (Monday) for dinner an hour before closing. Our waitress was nice, but seemed tired. We ordered a Margherita pizza, and these truffle ravioli appetizer that I forgot the name of. Both were excellent (if you don't like the taste of truffle then its not for you) for our entrées we shared a Caesar salad with chicken, a Greek salad with chicken, baked ziti, the short rib, rigatoni, and a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a bread bowl special. Everyone liked everything that we ordered.

I haven't been been here since the name change. It used to be Gino's. I believe they changed their name over the last two years or so. From my memory, the menu looks the same and the inside is the same. Happy I went today with a friend! We both ordered the pasta bread bowls because who doesn't love carbs on top of carbs...and an edible bowl? I had the penne ala vodka. It was very good. Great tasting vodka sauce! My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs. She was given three meatballs. She said it was very good. Both of our bread bowls were packed with pasta! The bowl itself is also quite deep. It did take a while, but that's understandable as the bread bowls are made fresh. Very yummy !

Food and staff are great but the cleanliness is questionable; there were flies everywhere in the back seating area so we asked to be seated in the middle. Then when we got our plates - in between a set was a dead fruit fly... It's really sad as their food is good but now I'm wondering if we should return if there are flies around... The almond crusted French toast was amazing - crunchy outside and soft inside while not being too sweet 9/10 Chocolate chip pancakes were good but not one I would get again 8/10 Eggs Benedict 8/10

OMG! We went to try the viral pasta bowls and we were NOT disappointed! These are garlic bread bowls filled to the brim with pasta! We tried the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and fettuccine chicken also vodka with burrata. Next time I'll ask for the burrata on the side when ordering to go. We ordered takeout so I can't talk about sit down service, but the staff on the phone was friendly and they care for your items. Our bowls came deconstructed which is so smart! By the way, parking is more than abundant, so that's always a plus!

I went to Italiano Pie Bar in Bethpage with the family and had mixed feelings about the experience. The food was good, don't get me wrong, but the service was pretty laxed. Though very friendly, It took them a really long time to even take our orders, and then we had to wait a really long time for the apps to come out. Felt more like they were short staffed than anything else. That being said, the apps were worth the wait, wife and I really enjoyed the Short Rib Mac & Cheese. The main courses were hit or miss for me. My chicken vodka hero on garlic bread was just average. My wife enjoyed the pasta & buratta bread bowl she got, and I loved the taste as well. One thing that was pretty annoying was having to get up multiple times to grab silverware, get drinks refilled, or grab napkins. It was like we were invisible sometimes. The atmosphere was lively though, with good music and a nice bar set up. If I'm being honest, I'd probably go back for the food, but maybe just for a to go order next time. That way I can enjoy the food without the hassle. Overall, it's an okay spot, but they need to work on the service. Its a shame becasue the food really is good. Enjoy!!

Our first visit it Italiano Ristorante in Bethpage. I'm glad we came to try it. We were so amazed after seeing the TIk Tok pasta bowls so we decided to take a ride. The bowls were an amazing idea. My husband managed to eat the entire bowl but I could only do 1/2 bowl. It's a carb lover recipe of love. It's definitely delicious to pull a piece of the bowl & dip it into the sauce. I'm glad we came it was worth a trip.

Definitely eat here! We got one slice of pizza with the perfect, no flop crust. The fried mozzarella was hand made and delicious with their vodka sauce for dipping. They are famous for their bread bowls. We got a spaghetti bolognese and a drunken penne both in the perfectly baked bread bowls. Nice and fresh. So amazingly delicious!!!!

On a recommendation from a Colorado local--not from social media, but genuine word of mouth--my husband and I made the trip to Bethpage to try Italiano. It turned out to be absolutely fabulous. The standout? Their bread bowls. Warm, fresh, and perfectly crafted, they're truly to die for. And if you go, do yourself a favor and order the minestrone soup. It's rich, comforting, and pairs perfectly with that incredible bread. A visit well worth the trip.

I had the viral pasta bread bowl with short rib. It was good. Service was quick. The place got filled up really quickly. The place looked nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.

The place remains popular as it was quite busy for a weekday evening when I went in. Despite that, I ordered immediately, they move very quickly and the service was good + fast! According to one of the staff members, they're known for their buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices. I ordered buffalo chicken, the Serra, and a regular pepperoni. The pepperoni was my favorite. The buffalo chicken slice was fairly decent considering I don't care for other buffalo chicken slices. It appeared to be popcorn chicken tossed in buffalo sauce and with a light drizzle of blue cheese dressing on top, so hard to mess up. Additionally the Serra was fine as well, possibly needing a boost in the flavors (or salt) since it was just sauce. It seems like a decent, casual place to sit in and grab a quick bite, they had some cocktails on the menu that looked interesting and I'll keep in mind for next time. Overall, I look forward to coming back and trying other items

Choose a side because we're in the middle of Long Island pizza wars! From the crust to the sauce, Rob Cervoni has the process down and rolled out his second location in Massapequa (These guys always have me traveling, I live on the damn north shore!) We could talk about Rob's accolades but in all honesty? All I want is good pizza. After the other day when I stopped by for lunch? My ranking order has changed, Taglio is now my #1 pick for 2026 on Long Island. The Massapequa spot is larger than Mineola, there's public parking in the back. Once inside, it's like Mammas Too in NYC with the crazy pizza toppings / flavor choices. A purest will say hot honey doesn't belong on pizza. Guess what? It's my money and my choice so add more honey and take my money! I told my brother in law about the new location, it was his first time trying Taglio and he flipped over the pizza. Taglio looks like a typical Long Island pizza spot that we all know and love. After tasting the pizza, from the New York thin crust, the cheese and sauce? This pizza is ready for battle. It's a place you would travel to, it's nothing like anything in Stony Brook where I live. (Rob, can you get on that? Stony Brook is a large college town and no good late night pizza spots) I knew bromade was used in fast food hamburger buns. Taglio pizza is using healthy Italian flour. In regard to the pizza wars? Rob, I have actual combat ribbons. Trust me, no one is better. Go to battle.

While the space is nicely decorated we saw several staff talking to tables and making eye contact with us and not waiting us. We stayed for another few minutes before we found another staff member and asked if we could just grab a table or do we need to wait. We aren't familiar but given the previous man didn't acknowledge us maybe we could just self sit. The women told us she will be right with us and proceeded giving the other customers water. We said ok and patiently waited. I asked the gentleman at the bar if he could give location for restroom. I took my toddler with me to the long walk around. They really could use a bathroom in the back. But regardless, we went and were hoping to see we had a table on the return. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. My husband was still standing around. We waited for 15 minutes, mind you there were plenty of empty tables. I see this place has amazing reviews, I can't tell if this is just a local spot and they just service them but truly it was baffling to see several people working yet no one could give us a table. First and foremost I've been reading the reviews and what is so consistent are the complaints about…read morethe portions and prices which is what I'm going to address exactly. First of all, I come in with a clipp coupon which is an incredible thing I highly suggest for everybody to look into the deals are incredible and the whole idea is to bring in brand-new customers which is what I was, this was my first time there a couple of weeks ago. I was really excited to try out this place, but yes, as many of the reviews say it's just a Pizzeria with some tables thrown inside. So it's not a fine dining restaurant by any chance but boy I can tell you from looking at the size of the menu and the outrageous prices you would have thought it was a five star restaurant!!! Seriously, many of the appetisers are in the $30 range, which is ridiculous- So when I walked in to pay the server who I assume is a waitress, maybe more, was named Maria and I see that she's been mentioned many times in the reviews so she's probably a regular there--- she seemed visibly disappointed and annoyed when I told her I have a clipp Certificate, to let people know who are not familiar. It's extremely similar to Groupon but much much better and much cheaper -- again the idea is to bring a new people although you can use it every time you go there which I have been told by people in the advertising business that the business owners actually hate this sort of thing because they actually lose money they're just taking a chance on bringing a new customers and introducing them to the business which could be beneficial in a long run So that was a turn off. Then I was told that I most likely wouldn't be able to use it because it's for Dine in only , however the one good thing is that somebody who apparently was the owner came over and told her basically to knock it off and stop worrying about that stuff and he said not a problem this time so I can say he was extremely nice and pleasant to speak with And that was nice of him to do that for me that one time if I do go back there at least I know moving forward that it's for dine in only and not takeaway- But the primary complaint here is I couldn't believe that my Dish was $37 and I was excited to try it out only to open it and find SEVEN Shrimp !!!! I mean they gotta be kidding me!! this dish is the shrimp or Renata of course you can see the thing that cost nothing which is pasta was packed to the brim.... Extremely disappointing, I was also purveying the pizzas and asking the prices and the prices were also a little bit ridiculous for a slice ... stuff look pretty good and the food tasted good but you gotta be kidding me for almost $40. I only got seven shrimp????? This is just another one of those restaurants that get over on the people... sad .
