Stopped in last night with a group of 4 for dinner. When we walked in the door the owner greeted us as we were family. After arriving we realized that we knew a couple of waiters and waitresses from restaurants that we have been going to for over 20 years. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice look. Wine list is very nice and has something for everyone. Our waiter Anthony who by the way owned restaurants in the past, he did a great job. Covid forced him to have to close his own place a couple of years ago. All four of us loved our dinners. Prices are fair for the most part. We will definitely be going back again soon. read more

On Saturday, July 11, 2026 I had my daughter's baby shower at Gusto Divino. The wait staff was cooperative, the room was very pretty, and the food delicious. Here in lies the glaring problem... I was cheated of $500 by the owner Michael. The money agreed on for the party was counted twice by each mother. I gave my share to Michael and he counted it. Our business was finished. Or so I thought... A few minutes later Micheal comes out to the parking lot as we were about to leave and he tells me I shorted him $500!!! How could that be? The money was counted out many times by both of us!!! There was no written contract that showed my deposit; only a copy of the party plans. My plan was circled for the price per person. My deposit was not deducted from the total amount owed. If you read comments from the past about this owner; it's not the first time he has used this tactic. I'm praying for Michael! read more

We went to Gusto Divino 9/18/26. This is not like your usual restaurant that has good food and lets the decor age around it. The owner recently renovated and did a terrific job. I've been working my way around the menu through my visits there and adding to an ever growing list of Italian food favorites. A recent Pork chop valdastano was amazing. The food was good and so was the service. What occurred after was not very professional. I went with a group of women, one of the ladies saw online a 3 course dinner special for $32, however, when we got there it was $46. We showed the manager, unfortunately he did not honor it and was nasty over it. Needless to say we will not be returning. read more

In response to your response to my review of your restaurant, I went to the website the afternoon before going dinner. It clearly stated that the price fix dinner was $32.95. The email I received on 8/11 from our organizer had a picture of the menu and it clearly said $32.95. From other reviews on this site it appears you are a poor manager. You may have changed the price but you never updated your website until we pointed out the error. Don't worry we won't be returning! read more

Don't ever reserve a party room , supposed to have 3hours, with in 2hr & 15 minutes they come into the room, start cleaning, & pushing you out the door. What the owner will do is offer you a drink at the bar. Food was good I'll give them that. read more

I visited this restaurant today with my family and I have to say, wow! I'm so glad I finally got to eat here. I came here today for a communion party and throughout the entire event, the service, waiters, were all very quick and on top of things the whole time. We were seated in the patio area behind the restaurant. It was a beautiful area with hanging floral decor. The first course was family style appetizers that had a platter of clams, mozzarella sticks, eggplant rollatini and calamari with marinara. All of the appetizers I had a taste of and it was all very flavorful and delicious and well seasoned. The bread even was hot and fresh! The salad and pasta course (penne alla vodka) were very good and fresh! The waiter gave us 3 options to choose from for dinner which was Chicken Francese, Steak or a Salmon dish. I decided to go with a classic Chicken Francese. I really enjoyed it because it was a really enjoyable sauce that wasn't too heavy on the chicken and it still gave it plenty of flavor. All in all everything was great and food was so darn good!! I will definitely be returning to go for dinner one night! I'm soo glad I finally came to this establishment! read more

Service was simply awful....we were seated on time...and waited over an hour for our appetizers, several of which were not what we ordered, and several of which were missing. The calamari way below average. We waited over an hour more for our entrees. Some were good, some were just so so. They then overcharged us by $80! We had to practically beg for more bread (the wait made us mighty hungry) and salt and parmigian cheese. Oh...and the noise level.....conversation couldn't take place. read more

Did not have a great experience here. First off the waiter was hard to understand Because he was mumbling. When I also asked for no cheese, no dairy, he said ok, but the sauce was creamy for sure, so I couldn't even eat it. The food was nothing to rave about. We had dinner ,here on Christmas Eve. The service was good the food was fair. They had a price fixed 3 course menu dessert was addition $15.00. The children s menu was $30.00 but on the regular menu it s $15.00. We spent over $500 for 4 adults and 2 children. The check was given to us very quickly and the owner asked us to get a drink at the bar to get up. We were leaving but one of our party was in the restroom. I explained and he was clearly annoyed. If you're looking for great, quality Italian food on Long Island, Gusto Divino is not the place to go. Every dish we ordered was underwhelming--the mozzarella in carrozza was overly greasy and the chicken parmigiana lacked flavor. To top it off, our waiter was very inexperienced; when we asked for pasta for all of our entrees, he mistakenly served us vegetables instead. We raised this to his attention, but all he said was "...next time." Unfortunately, I don't believe there will be a "next time." Lastly, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was outdated and the live music felt like it was from 30 years ago, which only added to the dated feel of the place. TLDR: no. Went for Mother's Day, never again. Pros: take reservations on open table and accommodated asking for a booth bc my daughter has autism (it's easier to keep her from running) busboys were awesome and the younger man at the front of the house was very nice Cons: while waiter was nice and got our drinks right... the food wasn't coming out. My husband and daughter left promptly because the mini pizza didn't come out (it never came out but was on the bill) and there was no bread on the table (we didn't know there was supposed to be bread at that time, till we saw other tables). So our daughter had quickly lost her patience (this happens though so, it is what it is) My mom was brought out the wrong dish. We told the waiter and the bus boys. By the time we were done eating and asked for dessert to go, and our dishes were wrapped up as well as the dessert, her food did not come. I asked the nice front desk younger man for the manager who came and by the time he got to the table my mom was crying, she didn't get to have dinner with her family... what a mess. When the manager got to the table the waiter told me I was, "making trouble" for him... I told my parents to wrap it up and I'll take care of the check. The manager comp'ed my mom's meal. I sat waiting and looked over the bill. The 22 dollar mini pizza was on there so I told him we didn't receive it... he said just to subtract it from the tip as it would be easier. He must have seen my hesitation as he said he would take care of the waiter. I was so confused I must have not seen that they claimed to place my mom's food down on the table by me. I did with the tip as told, and left. Returned again to get my mom's jacket. In the car my mom said she didn't have her food... I told her to go get it... I was just over the whole ordeal. Apparently, the Manager yelled at my mom saying he personally handed it to me. My dad came in to see what was taking so long and supposedly the manager and my dad were yelling at each other. Anyway the bus boy found the meal in the back, claiming they left it on the table. I'm embarrassed overall of the choice. My mom cried on Mother's Day and two grown men yelling in a restaurant. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Gusto Divino. Service is always top-notch, and the food is consistently delicious. My recent visit to Gusto with Anthony was a delight. The Branzino oreganata is one of my favorite dishes at this restaurant, fileted and baked with seasoned breadcrumbs on top, served over sautéed spinach. Meat lovers in your party should try the boneless beef short ribs over homemade pappardelle -- the meat melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with the soft noodles. The restaurant is well decorated and cozy. I'd highly recommend a visit! read more

We had Christmas dinner here yesterday. Decorated beautifully and even live entertainment which was such a special touch. The price fix menu was perfect. My son and I had the short ribs and my husband had the veal marsala. We raved over everything! Delicious. Our server, Lorenzo, was so nice as well as Ruben, Mike, everyone. Came here for the first time over the weekend because my friends and I were in the mood for Italian. I couldn't decide between the penne ala vodka or fried calamari, so I got some calamari on top of the pasta. Overall, love the food. My husband and I have been ordering from this place for quite some time now since I've moved to Long Island about 6 months ago. It's hard to find a good Italian spot on the island so was glad to come across Gusto Divino. However, the reason for the three star rating is because last night, instead of ordering through Uber. We decided to just ordered by phone to go pick it up. It was my husband, my father in law and I. We arrive at the restaurant and walk in and we were looked at from head to toe the moment we walked in. Now, I had a pair of leggings on, my jacket, hair up in a bun, whatever, the point is, we were looked at like we didn't belong there, which was very upsetting to see. The owner, was the one who helped us at the register and as a fellow Italian, who was born in Italy and speaks fluent Italian, I thought of engaging with him in Italian to be friendly, but after I kept noticing how we were being looked at, I decided it would be best not to even try and leave. Once we got in the car, my husband and father in law asked if it felt a little uncomfortable by the way the owner looked at us, I said "just a bit!" Was forced to "valet" my car even though I was already parked (the valet did nothing but turn my car around in the same spot I was in then hovered over my car wanting a tip). Then valet left advertising on my dashboard. Thanks for the trash. Pasta sauce (tomato and vodka) were thin and had way too much basil. Got charged a surprise 3.5% credit card fee even though doing so is prohibited by New York State under section 518 of the New York General Business Law. Had the worst food tonight at Gusta trattoria in Seaford. We went to complain and owner dame over and told us that our chicken was dry because we ordered chicken milanese which we ordered chicken gorgonzola. We also order pork osso bucco and the waiter gave us the veal osso bucco which was double the price.
