Keep in mind this is my first time horseback riding. You will get beautiful scenery and definitely that people are super helpful. I was really nervous going through the trails because I got the oldest horse and he wanted to do whatever he wanted to. I was concerned at times of my safety, but I asked the gentleman that was there and he coached me through and try to stay with me as much as possible.. I do not like the fact that these old horses have to be put through these business money, making events. They have several times to ride and I just wish they had young horses only. My horse had his tongue sticking out for most of my ride Like I said, it's a good experience now I know that this is not for me, but my friends did like that

This place is FUN!!! We didn't pay two excursions here. One was ATV/UTV tour and the other was horse back riding on the beach. First we loved our tour guide Mikey he was fun and friendly, he was knowledgeable and knew the area. We went on a two hour tour that brought us to a few spots for pictures along with a river to take a dip. He drew on us with rocks! lol we stopped at a small restaurant with some food for purchase and pina colada's with a bunch of cats! They had a restroom too. Overall the experience was worth it we spent about $600 for a family of 4. On a separate day we went on horseback to the beach. It was fun but crazy!!! These horses are trained but definitely have a mind of their own. It POURED the entire time. But this excursion is rain or shine! There is a weight limit and shoe requirement. We stopped a a bar that had drinks and food this was a very well organized place. Overall highly recommend! Things to know: bring cash to tip the workers, wear closed toed shoes, have face coverings and glasses for eyes, bring towels and change of clothes to leave in your car. Bring cash or card for food, drinks and souvenirs. Bring cat treats to feed the cats!

The horseback riding adventure in the middle of the rainforest was a really cool experience and something fun to do while checking out the views. the horses were older and pretty tame so it's an excursion for all ages and when I say all ages, I had a three year-old little boy in front of me riding on his own horse and he was loving it. They have a few different options on where you want to ride and hours you can go It's the beach ride or Rainforest and between one and two hours i opted for the 1 hour and that was enough for me. but definitely a cool thing to do while in PR

The 2 hour ATV riding was the perfect excursion for my first time to Puerto Rico. Friendly staff, amazing views, and good food.

This was an amazing experience! I had so much fun. Paola was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable of the equipment and entire process. She was also very attentive and kept a pretty steady but fun speed. We did the UTV which included helmets and instructions of course. You do not have to drive yourself if you came with someone. They can drive for you if you are more of a passenger like myself. The rainforest was so beautiful and it was a bit rainy on this day which made it very wholesome for me. Stopping by the river was tranquil. Being able to use the rocks to paint our faces with super cool. We signed up at the front where we had to fill out paperwork and signed the waiver. Overall, I enjoyed this excursion. I will definitely come back to try their restaurant on site and maybe some horseback riding.

My husband and I went to Puerto Rico for our anniversary - and any place that we travel to, we always try to find an amazing ATV tour, and we are so glad we found Carabali! Everything seemed very organized, from the minute we checked in. We got a quick presentation on how to use the ATVs (we are pretty experienced) and then we got all of our helmets and were set up on our ATVs. We were both drivers, but they also had options where you could be a passenger (sit behind the driver) or UTVs where it's more like a car with multiple seats across and behind. There was quite a bit of people at our timeframe, but they split us into groups of 8 with different leaders - so it worked out really nice! The ride was fun with beautiful views! We have been on some pretty adventurous/rough rides, but this was great! Definitely a bit more tame than we are used to, but we still really enjoyed it. We did the 2 hour ride and it included a stop at the Mamayes River, where we got to take a dip (SO refreshing and beautiful), then we stopped somewhere that served some pastries (we got an empanadilla de pizza and papa rellena - YUM) and non-alcoholic drinks in coconuts! All in all, we had a really great time! Will definitely recommend!

What an amazing day. We were on a UTV excursion led by Mark Anthony. He led us through some rough terrain to stop at some beautiful sites. We did the one hour excursion, I wish we would have signed up for the 2-hour trip. It was so much fun. We stopped at a river where we were able to go swimming. This place is packed with so many options. They have horseback riding, ATVs, and go karts. It was so much fun. The staff was great in explaining all the details. We will definitely do it again.

Saniel was our ATV tour guide and he was excellent. During our stops, he was super informative about the islands history, plants and animals that we would see, hear or encounter. The water stops refreshing and we were able to get painted the way Taínos did. Very good and very fun experience.

Mikey was amazing and very out going. He was extravagant and exhilarating, he made the ride 1/1 and perfect! 6 stars if possible.

Riding ATV's through the breathtaking foothills of the El Yunque Tropical Rainforest in Puerto Rico was our favorite! Janlied was our guide and he was the absolute best! We felt safe at all times. Book the 2 hrs it's worth it! Carabalí has been owned by the same family since 1977 and has so much history. Janlied made it fun to learn some of the interesting things about the local plants and people. He picked flowers for the ladies and made use some crowns out of ferns and even gave us some face paint using the minerals extracted from the stones. We stopped a few times for the views, pictures and swimming. The property is so well kept and maintained and the staff are all so nice and helpful. Don't hesitate to book this amazing adventure and request Janlied!

Great experience. Mikey was a great guide.

Great experience. Mikey was very informative, helpful and funny! We opted for the three-person UTV instead of horses or quads.

Unforgettable ATV Adventure at Carabalí Rainforest Park! If you're visiting Puerto Rico and want an unforgettable outdoor experience, make sure to check out Carabalí Rainforest Park - located right at the edge of El Yunque National Forest. Our family did the one hour ATV ride. This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! The trail is the perfect mix of excitement and natural beauty - muddy, thrilling paths, breathtaking rainforest views, and a few wildlife sightings along the way. The real stars of the experience were our tour guides, Kenny and Jandell. They were absolutely fantastic - friendly, and so passionate about what they do.They walked us through all the safety procedures, made sure everyone was comfortable on the ATVs, and kept the energy high the whole time. Plus, they offered to take great photos for us and shared awesome tips about the local area. We left covered in mud, smiling ear to ear, and already talking about coming back. Whether you're a first-time rider or a seasoned pro, this tour is a blast. Thank you Kenny and Jandell - and huge kudos to Carabalí Rainforest Park for such a top-tier experience!

    Tour guide Saniel was great!

Great experience! Their staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Safety is a priority with Carabalí. They go on their instructions and insure you understand how to use their ATVs. They also do a great job of incorporating fun! I really enjoyed my experience with Carabali!

When we arrived, we were told by the cashier that although the park closes at 4:00, they stop selling tickets before 4:00. If ticket sales end earlier, that should be clearly posted so visitors can plan accordingly. We had a group of 15 people ready to pay admission--business the park could have had--but instead we were turned away at the door. Very disappointing, especially when the hours advertised do not reflect the actual admission policy. Please post your actual ticketing hours, not just the park's closing time.

When I walked up to the counter couldnt find the usual hour and a half trampoline jumping and playground package which use to be like $25. Asked the girl and she said that I had to update the WAIVER new owners. Came back and the only package was one for $40 mind you pricey and with addons that I did not want nor need. My son is 7 and no parent in their right mind lets their 7 yr old go on a GoKart or elevated obstacle course with so called harnesses. An ICEE that isnt even worth .99 cents and 50 percent iff next visit which you will surely not be using. In my case there will be no next time. Then 20 minutes in an employee walks up to me and says if you dont have a bracelet you have to go sit in the waiting area. As if Im leaving my car at the carwash. Thats the straw that broke the camels back. Before I use to watch my son alongside the trampolines and if that couldnt be done then I wanted my money back. I was not going to spend another minute much less 2 hours in that place. But of course like so many companies today that do not know what customer service means or stands for they wouldnt refund me the money. Theyd rather get all the negative feedback that will be coming their way. $40 which will make them millionaires and which ruined a families outing. They dont care about your kids they dont care about their safety they dont care about your experience they just care about the money. Garbage Place Very Strongly NOT RECOMMENDED. Truly a breath taking experience!…read more This was is one of the best experiences we had in Puerto Rico! If you're looking for the typical tourist horseback ride, this isn't it. This is a rainforest adventure led by a woman and son who genuinely love their horses. You can immediately tell these horses are family, not money-making machines. They're happy, well cared for, and some are rescued. The horses we rode were great listeners and sure-footed. The short ride through the beautiful mountain slopes to just being surrounded by an incredible rainforest was absolutely breathtaking, the sounds of the rainforest seem to talk to your soul. We stopped at the river where the cold rushing water flowing over the rocks felt like natures version of tub jets. It was the perfect way to cool off. We enjoyed the cove built where tiny freshwater shrimp naturally gather. We put our feet in, and the mini shrimps gently nibbled away the dead skin. It was like getting a free pedicure right in the middle of paradise! This wasn't just a horseback ride. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home and experiencing a piece of Puerto Rico with people who truly care about the land, the river, and especially their horses. As if the experience couldn't get any better, we returned to the barn, She invited us on her deck/porch where she served us fresh water and tropical fruit from the trees on her property. oSitting there, enjoying juicy fruit with that incredible view, was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We can't wait to come back!

We rode down a fairly steep, winding path on the horses to the river. At the river we were able to walk across rocks to get to a swimming area. We stayed there for about half of the time. After the ride, she gave us mango and coconuts to have on her porch with a great view of the rainforest. There were some opportunities for good pictures, but unfortunately we don't have any of those because the owner, Amy, took pictures for us and said she would send them to us. After the fact, she said she wouldn't send them unless we paid her for them, which was not what she had communicated during the ride. She also sent a link to tip her or send her more money in exchange for the pictures. This is after we paid $100 per person for the experience. I would recommend looking at other Horseback Riding experiences. I was put off by the interactions with the host and lack of professionalism.
