This location was great. It's affordable and the surrounding views are unbeatable. This is perfect for people who are tight on time like myself when I was here during a cruise but you also want to do something different. I also enjoy the free beach next door. I only took off a star because the condition of the park could be a little better but that's par on course for St. Thomas. I still highly recommend this location. Search for MrBucketlist Coral World on Youtube for my full tour.

We didn't swim with them, but still got to see them pretty close up.

Date of visit: May 21, 2023 We were visiting Coral World as part of our Sea Trek experience, an excursion during our Disney Cruise. The park is not very big, despite the map of the park making it appear as though there is a lot to do and see so don't expect to spend an entire day here. The Sea Trek experience was pretty cool; we had seen it on other trips in the past but had never taken advantage of it ourselves. While the three-sided glass helmet is a bit disorienting at times, we did enjoy the experience quite a bit. Our guides were fun and informative and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Most of the staff was great, including the young lady in the parrot garden who had clearly made connections with some of the birds. The staff at the food stand, however, could go elsewhere. Our friend saw her cooking something that smelled good and she tried to ignore him before admitting that it was something for a co-worker and was not on the menu. Who does that? If you're doing an excursion here, definitely take advantage of your time to walk around and see the iguanas, dolphins, and turtles, but don't just come to see the park as you'll be disappointed.

This was a fun way to spend our afternoon when going to Coki Beach. It's definitely a smaller park that you can see within 1-2 hours, but it provides a great time. We loved going on the little nature walk, seeing the turtles, and going into the underwater viewing area to see all the fish swimming in the ocean. They also have a little snack bar called the Shark Bar that makes pretty decent food and drink. I definitely wouldn't expect this park to be an all-day plan, but more of a way to spend part of your day. Highly recommend doing the snuba activity while here. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was, and it includes your admission to Coral World. I had never done snuba before so was a little nervous at what to expect, but our guide was absolutely wonderful. He spent plenty of time preparing us, and we got to spend about 30 minutes exploring the bottom of the ocean - see all the different plant and fish wildlife. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and I would totally recommend adding it on if you plan to go to Coral World. They also take pictures and video of you while you're underwater, and they were only $25/person to purchase (a great deal for an experience like this!). Worth a stop while in the Coki Beach area.

Michelle is the attendant that helped us get ready to go under water! Super sweet Chicago native who became a local to this amazing island. The rest of the team is equally amazing. Eve, Noora and Wyatt were super nice under that water and out. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get an event in during their day. Great divers.

My husband and I did the Sea Lion Encounter during a brief stop on St Thomas during a cruise, and we had one of the best experiences ever! We want to thank the trainers Ashley, Amy, and Heather for creating such a unique event for us. I've never seen a Sea Lion Encounter event before. I've done the dolphin encounter, and while I enjoyed it, dolphins don't have as much of an obvious personality as sea lions. We were amazed at how engaging and intelligent these giants are. While Coral World is small, it is mighty! Being in a privately owned sanctuary like this was SO much more intimate and engaging than a large corporate-run park. We loved this experience, and would definitely recommend to our friends & family!

Coral world was pretty fun and educational. I loved seeing the different sea animals. Sharks were my favorite. They also have turtles , parrots and a lot of iguanas . Sorry I couldn't put the rest of pics up. Yelp only allow ten photos. The food hut food was very good and they also serve frozen alcoholic drinks . Staff was very friendly and nice .

My family of 5 visited January 8th. We enjoyed the facilities and views The best part was our meet and greet with Omar the South American Sea Lion! His handlers (Coral, Sidney, and Emily) were fantastic with their knowledge and skills handling him. I loved feeding him fish and our pictures came out perfect. I would do this again.

Sidney, Shayene & Ashley in the sea lion were amazing. It was so much fun to swim with Remo. I just loved him! They were so patient as my girls warmed up to the idea of swimming with a huge animal. One of my girls finally warmed up to the idea & got in. The other did not & they let her be a "trainer" & do a trick with him from the side of the pool. The photographs turned out great. Treasures for sure. This has been the highlight of our trip so far. Fred is HUGE & it was fun to see him show off his training. He was very photogenic in our family portrait. The only feedback I have is that it would've been nice to be on the step with Remo in the pool before jumping in, or doing it in reverse order, just so my girls could warm up to it a little before literally being in the deep end lol. Ainsley & Ping were so much fun! Ainsley was super informative & a great educator. Took some conservation ideas away what she shared that we can use at home. The feedback I would have for the dolphins is to use the same photo setup as the sea lions. I couldn't figure out how to download them on my phone. I'm hoping it'll be easier on my laptop once I'm home. Overall we were very lucky with timing. We got to see all the feedings & animal presentations before our first encounter. Then had a quick lunch & onto our last encounter to close out the day at the park. I feel like we 100% took advantage of all that they had to offer. We would absolutely return again on our next trip. Thank you for letting us share some time with you & your amazing animals ambassadors. Family memories were made that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Took my son yesterday with hopes that we could enjoy the day but 10 minutes into our visit he was yelled at by a female staff for touching the starfish in the "touch pool" not to touch but my son is non verbal so I had to explain to her he was was autistic she did apologize and stated that she too was autistic so she should be more aware but the damage was already done and he got over stimulated by the experience and we left right away. I wish he hadn't been singled out and treated that way on our trip. But I'm learning more that people tend to believe because he looks normal he should behave in such a way. We won't be back again.

Nice small eco-park to spend a couple of hours. Founded as a way to rehabilitate injured sea life, it is a nice park filled with aquariums, lagoons and aviaries. Check the schedule to learn more about the sea life, birds and reptiles that live in the park The Undersea Observatory Tower is unique in the Caribbean. Walk down the boardwalk and then descend 15 feet below the water's surface to get a look at fish and coral in nature's aquarium. Where's Kevin? Visit Kevin the Pufferfish and his friends at the Caribbean Reef Encounter. Come at feeding times to see a diver feed the fish, stingrays and other creatures that live in an 80,000 gallon coral reef aquarium. Look for a wide variety of local corals, sponges, lobsters, conchs, and colorful fish. The Shark Shallows and Stingray Lagoon are small pools filled with sharks and stingrays. Book a shark encounter to swim with and learn more about sharks. Come at to the Turtle Pool at feeding time to learn more about the rescued green sea turtle hatchlings that now live there permanently. Coral World is a rehabilitation center for sick and injured turtles. It was interesting to visit the rainbow lorikeets in the aviary. They were being trained to go into little cages to prepare for hurricane season. (They did not want to cooperate with their hurricane preparedness training, though). The Bahama Ducks were so cute. And there were iguanas, iguanas and more iguanas everywhere. We have passed by Coral World so many times on trips to Coki Beach. It is a nice place to stop for a few hours. Admission is just $23.50. There are ad-ons like swim with the sea lions or dolphins, kayaking or sea trek. Check the website for more options.

It pains me to give a 1-star review, but this place is nothing but a cash grab under the auspices of protecting the wildlife. We booked two separate encounters one for my son and I for the shark encounter and one for my daughter and wife for the sea lion encounter. Total at this point $388.00. We wandered around the property and checked out the very small park. Understand there are very few attractions at this park. Make sure to check the map on their site. They have an observatory tower which is dangerous and in disrepair needing work on the stairs which are breaking away from their mountings. The touch pool which had 3 types of marine animals. A Caribbean reef encounter which had fish from the area. A small pool for the sharks. A small pool for stingrays. Two turtle pools. A very small lorikeet enclosure. A very large dolphin enclosure which is where they seem to have sunk their money and that's about it. We did both encounters the shark one was in that small shark pool. The pool was green slimy and not like the video they sent me prior to the encounter. Plus, in the video they send they show people petting the sharks. This is something that you can't and won't do. This was very disappointing to my son because he watched the video coral world sent us prior to check in and showed people petting a shark in a small container. If it wasn't for Taylor and her love of marine life this whole experience would have been a bust. My daughter seemed to enjoy the sea lion meet. Here's my huge problem with this park we went to go get our pictures for the encounters. When we asked Monique about the pictures, she said it would be $30 for the shark and $30 for the sea lion as we were looking at pictures. So, $60 is a bit steep but we were willing to pay. We were all looking at the pictures then Monique said "oh no it would be $30 per person for the sea lion adventure". This was after my daughter saw the pictures and wanted them. So, if you went with a friend and they didn't want the pictures and you did, you would be forced to pay $60 instead of $30 for the one photo link with the same pictures. That's not right, plus there is nothing showing this pricing on the site and we didn't see this anywhere in the giftshop so it definitely seems made up. When we got home, I reached out to coral world and was emailing Wade Werner who said we overpaid for the child admission but the photo pricing was right, then he said in the email "Sea Lion Encounter: $119.00 (adult) & $74.40 (child) - Paid $60 for the photo package ($30 per person)" but then backtracked in a future email stating we were charged the correct amount. We spent a total of $500 at Coral World and definitely feel ripped off. If you don't want this headache and frustration your best bet is to avoid Coral World

However, route 2 was not panning out, as now other traffic also used that route. I emailed the company multiple times requesting if it was possible to move to next day. ZERO response. I texted the company phone number, requesting the same. ZERO response. I called before texting, no answer. I did this from the date of our reservation until into the afternoon the next day. Very, very disappointed, as their booking calendar showed availability for the following day, but no one would respond. So not only did we miss out on something fun, but we are out $250. Would not recommend whatsoever given the complete lack of communication. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
