I needed to have a battery replaced in my quartz watch. Didn't have a tool to take the back off to get to the battery. Anyway, drove there today and the staff were very helpful. Not only did they change the battery, but cleaned up the face, dried out some moisture that had accumulated on the face and gave me helpful hints to preserve the new battery. What a "gem" to have in Nipomo! Recently I had a small diamond fall out of the halo on my wedding ring. I was so anxious about finding a place to take it to, the amount of time it would be gone and where it would be sent off to. I read the yelp reviews on Carats to Karat and decided to give them a call. Everyone is super nice and personable there. Craig took my loose diamond & ring and replaced it right then and there! It literally took 10 minutes. He used some of that time to test & make sure it wouldn't come loose and fall out again. Although I offered to pay he refused to take payment. I am so thankful to have a place I can feel comfortable taking my wedding ring just minutes away from my home.
