Quick and efficient service…read more I called to see if Eddie was available after reading reviews that his business is run from a residence. I was able to come in within the hour to see if the watch I got at the flea market was broken or just had a dead battery. He told me he'd only charge if it the latter. A super nice guy who has been doing this for over 30 years. Cost me $20 to replace my battery. I recommend bringing cash!

BEWARE! Yervant charged me 3xs more than other Jewelers! He charged me $33.00 vs. other jewelers…read more$10. He spent a total of approximately 12 mins and 30 secs.!!!! I explained on the phone to Yervant that I had a new inexpensive watch but I wanted to take off the faux leather band and replace it with my old stretch band and I would be bringing all my necesssary pieces. He sounded pleasant on the phone. The mistake I made is I did not ask him to give me an estimate of what this would cost and when I arrived he never discusssed the cost. I brought a $10 and a $5 dollar bill. He spent 12 minutes taking off the faux band and putting on my old stretch band with it's pins. He was not pleasant, never smiled. I asked Yervant if I could just see if the old watch without the stretch band, still worked. As he put a battery in the old watch, (took 30 secs. max), I realized it did not have the numbers or hands that glowed in the dark, so I said I'm sorry I would not want to use the watch for the above reason. He got angry with me saying "One minute you said you wanted it and now you don't....!" He was behaving like an old bully and begrudgedly removed the battery. He then said I owed him $33.00!! I was shocked and only carried a total of $15. So I had to use my credit card. I asked him if he was charging me by the hour for the labor. He did not respond. HE SPENT APPROXIMATELY A TOTAL OF 12 MINUTES AND 30 SECOUNDS and CHARGED ME $33.00!!! I felt like he took complete advantge of me but I had never used this type of service before to compare. As soon as I got home I called another local Jeweler and explained my whole situation and wanted to know if that price was fair. She proceeded to tell me that they only charge $10. for what service Yervant performed! I was so appreciative that she shared that info. with me. This is the reason I am writing this review so other people will know to ask Yervant on the phone ahead of time or before he works on their watch, what he will charge so they can decide whether to proceed or pleasantly disengage from doing business with him! I highly recommend they go to Rogers Jeweler where the people are friendly warm and up front on what they would charge you!
