I have visited this store on several occasions. I have had watch batteries replaced in my mother's watch and I purchased a new stone to replace one that I had lost. Recently, I needed to have my mother's watch adjusted because it was too big for her. Raz came out to my car so that my 98 year old mother didn't need to come in the store. Hustler! BEWARE!!! This guy is a hustler. I went in to get a silver ring resized. Only needed it half a size smaller. I initially wanted beads added to it so as to not weaken the ring, but after getting 3 different prices ($90 being the highest) I was told resizing was my best bet. I then got 2 different prices for resizing. He told me it was going to cost that much because they dip the BOTTOM of the ring in platinum to make it shiny.... That should have been my first clue to run! I was given a seemingly fair price after I told him I don't need it dipped and was going to shop around. I felt very uneasy about the whole encounter but shrugged it off. I left 2 rings of different sizes to get resized smaller. Upon picking them up one fit and the other was still too big! He told me "we couldn't go any smaller you will have to add the beads". You are freaking kidding me!!! Also the seem on both rings are very visible and not well done! This should have been a very easy fix for a professional jeweler. My bad for trusting a jewelry shop to handle my jewelry.... Now it has to be resized again and can weaken it even more. I will start off with WOW just wow amazing customer service (hard to find these days) great sales and just super friendly people to do business with. Started out window shopping found a pretty necklace for our anniversary ended up with a variety of stuff. When Raz went to clean my rings he automatically brought a magnifying tool to "inspect" the Diamond settings. He found both of my rings were about to lose their diamonds. He gave several suggestions to which I choose to get a new ring. Never did I feel he was trying to talk me into something I didn't want nor did they pressure me into getting anything. They offered several options... to fix the ring, do nothing and put it away until later or take the diamonds to make a new. After much consideration we bought an amazing wedding ring and Angie gave us a super good deal. If your looking for a good Diamond this is the place to go. I bent the pin on my watch band trying to put it back in after adjustment, I went to Melby's jewelry in Orcutt to get the pin taken out and put back in and they wanted $30 to do it. Anthony's helped me pull the pin and replace it with a spare I had in under a minute free of charge. That is great service! I would highly recommend shopping here. read more
