This is my second visit, and I've really been looking forward to returning. It's one of the most solid taco places in the area. Love the mesquite grilled asada, and you get plenty on the regular taco. Enhance your taco at the condiment bar with everything you need to dress it up - three sauces, guac, pico de gallo, shredded cabbage, diced onions, pickled sliced onions, cilantro, and house made pickled carrots and chiles. Today I tried a fish taco to go with my carne asada. SO yummy! Really liked the mustard accompanying the mayo and chipotle sauces. Yes it's messy, but it doesn't matter. It's that delicious! Great service and an impeccably clean restaurant- everywhere- check out the spotless bathrooms. It takes a few minutes to get your order but you feel like they're cooking with love. You place your order at the counter and they bring it out but you don't even pay until you're done. Unusual for a quick service restaurant. Took a chocolate tres leches cake home to try. I'm really disappointed with this place. The food is completely mediocre--nothing stands out, and it's definitely not worth going out of your way for. What's worse is the customer service. The staff comes off dismissive and uninterested, especially toward people who work in the same plaza and try to support their business regularly. I called in to place a simple order and was told "no, we're too busy" with no effort to offer an alternative or even basic courtesy. That kind of attitude makes it clear they don't value their customers' time or business. There are plenty of other spots nearby that actually appreciate their customers and provide better food and service. I won't be coming back. read more

So cheesy , so juicy I'm telling you reminded me of real authentic taco from Cali and I was not disappointed ! And their aqua Frescas are delicious as well ! I got a order of 6 tacos with two large Fresca and a small side of rice all For the price of 44.28 and honestly the best money well spent . The place was very clean and had a nice vibe even though I went at night I didn't have to wait long at all . I wonder what this place Is like during the day ! This taco shop is located in a little strip center at Greenway and 19th Ave. but boy is it worth the trip! The food was phenomenal. I had the Al Pastor taco on a flour tortilla and it was so delicious! I would recommend the food here without reservation. The ambience is fine. It's clean and there are many tables and it wasn't too busy when I went in. Service was great. You go to the counter and order what you want and then they deliver it to your table. We went back and ordered a margarita. We told the gal at the counter about the salt on the bottom of the margarita and were informed they add salt to the bottom of the glass on purpose. So beware of this and make sure to request NO SALT in the glass. I've never seen this done before, salt on the rim, Yes, a tablespoon of salt dumped IN the glass No. Getting a big gulp of salt is not only unpleasant but it made us sick. The queso Birria tacos were like, 60% cheese and 40% meat. Overwhelmed the meat. No salt. Cageza we pretty good but lacked salt. Asada was a little dry and lacking salt. Consumme' the same problem. I added on things from the salsa bar. My husband had a asada Syncronizada at $6.15. It's 2 tortillas taco size with asada meat & cheese. He said it was good, tasty but he would need 2 if he ordered again. To be fair we were looking for a Taco Tuesday place. Our big family meets every other week to have a meal. Some of my grown kids have 5 in their family. This place would cost too much . The kids eat 3-4 tacos that's $15 for a kid/ teen. Too pricey this is priced like a full serve restaurant. Food was great and tasty 3 stars because of cost and employees that make you feel like you're impositioning them. Would we go back... sure but just for fries. We don't usually eat fries so probably not. lol I'm not understanding how these small places that don't have sit down service are charging prices like they do. I did try and use the bathroom it was decorated nice everything was clean but the toilet seat had urine all over it so I passed. Food is great. However note the photos/prices in yelp are not accurate... when a pic with several tacos show a price. The price is PER taco. And they are street taco size. I love the shrimp ones. And the pastor burrito is awesome. I wasnt expecting a grilled burrito but liked it. And they will accept alterations such as no rice (i have to watch carbs) in the burritos.
