They replaced some rotted facia board, put down ice/water and roof wrap, sanded and flashed the chimneys too! All three neighbors are also in need of new roofs. I gave them the number for these guys. This crew was in and out in 12 hours flat and I couldn't be more happy with the job they did.

The negative we had was the project leader for the day of work seemed to have cut corners in several places. It started with not all of the work being done that was on the invoice. The office believed me and sent out a worker to check and they validated the work was not done that was in the invoice. When Mass Save came to inspect the work, they also found the light covers were not installed correctly. All and all, it required 4 visits to complete the work for a variety of reasons.

When the work was completed, our Building Inspector flagged the work for an insufficient amount of blown-in insulation. Months passed. When Rogers came back for the re-do, they didn't bring enough tubing to reach the attic opening, so they had to go back to Framingham to get more. This despite the fact that the company had already done work here previously, and should have known how much tubing was needed. In the end, the job was done correctly, per the Building Inspector, but the process required more of my time and attention than it should have, with appointments and phone calls. Also without the Building Inspection, we would not have know that insufficient insulation had been installed.

They installed a heat pump, hot water heater, and insulated our home. Here is a list of the things done wrong. Day 1 installed condensation tube wrong and wrong pump. They said it would be fine so we ran the system.......flooded basement Forgot to install a 600$ add on part and only came back when I called them out on it. Installed the wrong thermostat causing the unit to run 24/7 leading to almost 1200$ in electric bills over two months. They did compensate me for some of this after I complained for 3 months and presented them with my electric bills. Patched 30 holes in my walls incorrectly and left a styrofoam plug sticking out of every one. They had to come back and redo the whole project filling my house with dust and mess a second time. When the technician didn't get the number he wanted on the insulation blower test started closing interior doors to falsify the number so he could move on to the next job. Homeworks employees broke a part of the heat pump TWICE leaving us with no AC in the middle of summer for 4 weeks and another flooded basement. No compensation and no apology. I pay them monthly for a service contract. Failed to repair a broken pump.......flooded basement again which is now moldy. The employees are nice but if you actually want anything done correctly I would look elsewhere.

We chose Green Cocoon based on their detailed proposal and the thorough conversations we had before…read moresigning the contract. Unfortunately, once the contract was signed, the organization and communication we initially experienced disappeared. Scheduling became incredibly difficult, with calls and emails going unanswered. On two occasions the crew simply didn't show up on the days we had confirmed. We rearranged work schedules to be home for these appointments, yet no apologies or explanations were offered beyond "we mixed up the dates." The first phase of the project, coordinated with our roofing company, was especially frustrating. The insulation crew arrived without any understanding of the plan and without the equipment they needed, forcing them to leave and return later. This delayed our roofers and put us in an uncomfortable position having to explain the situation. Scheduling the second half of the job was equally challenging. When the crew finally arrived, they again seemed unaware of what was supposed to be done, and ultimately did not complete all the work outlined in our contract. This required scheduling a third visit, during which the team showed up without proper tools and had to borrow ours in order to finish removing old insulation. We requested a specialist afterward to confirm that everything had finally been completed, but this amounted only to a brief walkthrough and quick scan of the areas. While the insulation work itself appears to have been done well, the management and scheduling process was exceptionally poor. We shared all of these concerns with the only contact we were able to reach, yet received no real acknowledgment or resolution. Unless Green Cocoon makes significant improvements to their scheduling and internal communication, I cannot recommend them. I genuinely hope the end result of the work holds up over time, but the experience getting there was unnecessarily stressful.
