I was home all day and never saw them show up. When I called they said they delivered to me and I said no you didn't. They insisted they use GPS and even told me what my house looked like. That's great but that doesn't prove a thing. I was then told I probably was in the bathroom, that the gauge on my tank was probably broken, and other excuses why I was wrong in saying I never got the delivery. After asking for the printout from the truck, becasue every delivery has a printed slip, they finally called me and said they had indeed delivered to the wrong house. By the way my neighbor came by earlier that day with a slip saying that SHE got the delivery so if they continued to deny it I had solid proof. No customer should be treated like they are crazy, that's the way I felt becasue they were acting like I was off my rocker and didn't know what was going on. It infuriates me. Needless to say I dropped them real fast.

They showed up on time and did excellent work getting everything insulated and gaps blocked. The blower test was ~2000 for a 1650sqft home (1:1.25 ratio) before and 1300 after (1:0.79 ratio) the work which is great for a 35 year old home. They kept the house clean by using a lot of drop cloths for walking and even double insulated the side door that we rarely use to get our savings even better. Mark took whatever time was necessary to air seal in our unconditioned attic, install baffles, and also ensure that the insulation which was poorly placed on the surface was cut down properly so it could be in contact with the attic floors. I don't know how much energy savings air sealing will do for me as my newer house was already pretty comfortable before embarking on this project, but I am confident that this project has been completed in the most competent manner possible. I did receive quotes which were a lot less than Mark's, but still chose to hire Mark for the job since he seemed like he was going to take the time to do it correctly. After seeing how big a job it was, I really don't feel confident someone would have been able to do the job right at those lower quotes. The project ended up being about 4.5 days of work where Mark had to crawl through insulation for many hours to get the job done.

The owner of this insulation business has been doing business for 10 plus years. He was cordial and polite with his responses. Well let me tell you, I am glad I used fast insulation. Him and his team came in early today which was Saturday morning and knocked out the project in 4.5 hours. There workmanship was absolutely awesome and professional. I had them buy the insulation and products to do the job as this is there business and they know what to get and order based on the square footage. They got to my house and from beginning to end they never stopped working. I made them breakfast and brought it to them as they never stopped working and figured they deserved some good energy food to continue the good work ! There price was WAY better then any of the other companies. They took the job and showed up on time and completed the work. My attic was warm and cozy within hours of them leaving. Insulation is the way to go if you don't have it . I am sure my fuel bill will go right down now and my heat will stay in my house and not out .
