Dealing with car damage is so stressful, and I'm so emotionally attached to my car that the situation was already very charged. They had even worked on my car model before and even recognized my paint color (it's not a super common car, and the color is also rare) so I felt really good about trusting them. I reached out to Carbulance to replace the front bumper on my car. Marco is a skilled auto body tech, and I value his work. When Marco and Brian came to give me a quote, Marco installed a new turn signal light bulb and it worked fine. The socket had a bit of corrosion which he cleaned and there was no issue. After the bumper replacement was completed my car now makes a warning chime sound when the left turn signal is initially engaged, followed by faster than normal blinking. I contacted them to see if they could check the wiring, initially Brian said they would come look at it and get back to me on their availability for that same evening. Then Brian tells me I need a new connector and doesn't follow up on coming to actually check the wiring. I followed up again and haven't received a response. After paying $1k for a service I expect the repair to not interfere with the function of my vehicle. I had other issues with Brian being condescending and just weird. It seems that Brian assumes women are helpless and don't know anything about cars. When he and Marco came to give me a quote Brian tried explaining to me that the sticker inside the driver side door of my car has all the information if a mechanic ever asks. I have had this car for nine years, I'm very aware of that lol. Brian even asked if I knew how to turn the fog lights on...When they came to do the repair Brian asked me how I was able to find all of the parts I needed online. I told him I used the part numbers. He replied "some men don't even know how to do that". I mentioned that I'm a researcher and then he goes on a conspiracy theory tangent. Brian ended up revealing that he recently used AI to simplify Adolf Hitler speeches so he could understand them. And after that session with AI Brian thought maybe Hitler was on to something and wasn't that bad because "the Jews have been kicked out of every country" and started going on a deeper anti-Semitic rant about Jews and their money and how they control economies. Brian follows up this bizarre tangent with sharing that he's a flat earther and was on to flat earth theory since he was a teenager. He's spewing all of this ignorant rhetoric in my driveway while his dad, Marco, is diligently getting started on the repair. Unfortunately, Brian's behavior is a liability to Carbulance's business. Marco is skilled at what he does. Aside from the issue with my turn signal, the bumper replacement looks good. I wish there had been better follow up on their end about checking the wiring. And frankly I wish I had not be subjected to Brian's idiocy. Based on this experience I cannot recommend their services to anyone. read more

I reached out to a handful mobile dent repair shops who all said that I needed to take my truck to a full service auto body shop. The auto body shops came back with pretty expensive quotes, imo. I found Carbulance and quickly got a message back from Marco. I was first surprised that as a mobile auto body repair tech Marco said he can take care of the fender and bumper no problem (please see attached before & after pics) and he quoted me more than half the price of the other quotes I got from the auto body repair shops. Marco & Brian showed up right on time for our scheduled appointment. Both were very friendly, courteous and got to work right away. *I'd like to note that before hand Marco let me know this job would take roughly about 6-7 hours, so I already knew this wasn't going to be a quick dent puller job (which frankly for what they charged still amazes me.* Please note too: while just initially taking a look at my truck, Marco noticed right away that the hood wasn't lined up properly (the gap on the driver's side vs passenger's side were not equal) also that the hood would not pop when "popping the hood" from inside the cab. He right away said he'll fix it, and didn't ask or say he'll charge me more to do it! I went out to see how things where going about 3hrs into the job and was happy to see the fender already taking shape. I was glad to learn that the work they did wasn't a full bondo job either. They had all the right tools in their van to get the job done right! Brian even showed me the "magnet test" it passed with flying colors! Around 3pm Brian came to the door to let me know they're done. These guys worked hard, did a fantastic job, were honest and straight up from the start to finish! No cheap cutting corners, no extra charges/hidden fees and they went well above and beyond the original scope of the job and also fixed the hood for no extra charge! Not only do I highly recommend Carbulance, I got a quote from them on a running board crack on my van, plus a full paint job quote for my 4x4 truck and will be calling them back for more work in the future. My wife's 2014 lexus had gashes where the closing garage door clipped it with the hinge a few times. She got a quote for $1000+ a while back from a traditional body shop and put the project on hold. Later she dented the drivers side door bopping a parking garage pillar. I didn't bother getting a quote from US but did get one for $900+ for both repairs in Tijuana. I contacted some of the "mobile repair" guys on yelp but they only did dent pulling. Not real body work. I was resigned to going to Tijuana..... But driving out of my neighborhood one day I saw the Carbulance guys working on a car. I pulled over and got Marco's card. My quote from Carbulance was $835 for both the door and the rear bumper! They came by yesterday about noon and spent 5 hours working the bumper and the door. They ended up painting the front fender too because they wanted to make sure it blended well. Painting outside a clean room is not ideal but they did a great job. They handle little details like hosing down the driveway to keep dust from kicking up. Also thankfully it was not windy so it turned out great. To really finish it, you need a detailer to buff the clear coat after 2 days curing time. That can't be done the same day. My wife doesn't think it is necessary but the car is getting detailed tomorrow for her birthday so will get that handled then. Marco also volunteered to come back and detail it which was nice offer. I told them their $835 quote was too low. They claimed they could go that low because they had no overhead...but I gave them $900 and still felt like I got a killer deal! read more
