First of all my communication with the owner Enrique Garfias was professional, courteous, and genuine. Enrique was fair with pricing and the final product was better than I could have imagined. I had corrosion on my Jeep hood and other areas of the vehicle. I had new fenders (front and back) installed on the Jeep. I had the front and rear bumpers refurbished and painted, hood latches installed, and hooks painted red on bumpers. The pricing was very fair and reasonable. When I picked up my Jeep they also detailed the Jeep inside and out, an added bonus. This is now our go to shop for car detailing and bodywork. I highly recommend this shop. I rarely give reviews but this place deserves one. My 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport developed a bubble on the hood. This bubble eventually grew into sheets of paint coming off my hood. Manufacturing defect even though Hyundai Motors won't admit it. Enrique assured me he could fix this and make it look brand new again. That's exactly what he and his crew did. The hood looks amazing!! So happy to have my SUV looking good again. These guys know there stuff. Great price, great people and great job. What else do you need? And they did it fast too. My car Volvo S40 makes an annoying noise. Yesterday, Sophie classmates' mom pointed out to me during our kids school pick up and it is then that I knew I cannot ignore it anymore. So this morning, I took it to the best mechanic in town (he is in Lemon Grove). His name is Enrique Garfias who became my friend after helping me out for over 10 years. Ron is Enrique's partner who also came to my rescue with his wife when I was stranded at Hillcrest parking lot. Good people to run to in times of auto crisis. The preliminary diagnosis for the weird noise that my car makes is PCV valve and, hopefully so! It would be concidered an enxpensive repair (keeping my fingers crossed) . 5 stars? I am almost don't even want to write this review. I took my car in to get fixed from an accident I was in. I took it here trusting the previous 3 reviews.. Well I guess I should have done a little more research. I spoke with the owner and he said he was going to save me all this money and he would take care of me. The best part of the whole "Deal" was getting the free tow there. Or maybe not. They said it would take them 10-14 days when it took well over a month. The customer service was not at all professional. When I was told that I would be given a call for an update on my car it never had to happen. I always had to make the call. The only time I got the phone call was when they wanted the money. When I did talk to them it was all broken promises and idiot remarks. For instance: "I am making a bet with these guys that we will have the car done by tomorrow." I am glad you guys thought my car was a game. Not to mention I didn't get my car till 2 weeks later to be exact. On to the actual work..... I ordered a pair of headlights and was having issues with an HID kit. Understandable that is my fault but when I picked up my car my headlights were not properly working. You would think that a good honest company would at least make the headlights work properly until I got the right bulbs or even tell me that they're not properly hooked. Instead when I turned on my lights my right high beam came on.. And when my daytime running lights were on only my left would come on. Yes because that is street legal. Oh and not to mention no turning signals. My wires to my lights were just wrapped around or even just hanging there basically about to get wrapped up in my timing belt. (yes, because that is smart) I had to eventually bring it back to get that fixed. Underneath, I have a scrap guard that is just kind of hanging there. I asked them about that and I was told "oh yeah that is fucked up, you're going to have to get another one." Mind you they replaced my bumper. So they quoted me $40 bucks for that. They told me they were doing all this extra stuff for free. I don't really believe it. They were going to take out 2 dents I had in my car. They took out one and half-assed the other one. My paint job where they "blended" it looks horrible. You can see where they did it. You can see the swirls in the paint job. It looks like a bad version of Starry Night. I don't see how anyone could recommend this place give it a 5 star rating. read more

I stopped by to get an estimate and was helped by Manny and I'm really glad I did! He's a really friendly guy and made the whole process of getting my car fixed easy on me. I had to come out of pocket for my repairs so I was worried about the cost since I have an Audi. I thought I could try and save on some of the costs by ordering the parts online myself and have the labor and paint done at the shop. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that you can get the wrong parts even though you put in all the correct car information(year, model, make, blah..blah..blah.!! THANKFULLY, Manny helped me through the whole ordeal and it all worked out. What I loved about working with him is that he was always there to answer questions on the phone or through email. I was never left in the dark. I felt so comfortable leaving my car in his hands and I knew he would take care of me. Talk about "Don't judge a book by the cover"! This ain't La Jolla, of course, but even then, the front yard of this body shop is pretty junky. You wonder if you dare leave your car there. You stop wondering once you've had your first car fixed (Toyota Highlander, front bumper) and you sure don't hesitate to go back with your other car (rear side door of your Prius bashed in). At a price about 1/3 of what flashy locations charge, both repairs were done completely to our satisfaction. Those other more elegant body shops wanted us to do it through our insurance though no other cars were involved and we have a high deductible. The owner, Enrique Garfias, is a no nonsense guy, didn't accept credit cards and wanted paid by check or cash. Makes sense if you don't want to give a % to the banks. He followed up with a phone call a few days later. Good fast, responsible service. I have no relationship with him or his company, never knew of it until someone recommended it and we came in. We'd go back if we ever had a car damaged again. If you're looking for a body shop, I'd suggest you consider him. Just don't be put off by the yard's appearance which looks messier than my teenage granddaughter's bedroom. (I'd have thought that impossible.) read more

I was having the worst day ever yesterday (Memorial Day) and my car had died on me, TWICE! I'm from up north over 500miles from home and I was terrified. When my tow truck had arrived we called several shops one even rudely told me "No we can't help you, it's a holiday and no one will help you today" Finally I found and called Mr. Enrique Garfias at this shop and he had picked up, I explained to him my sticky situation and he had offered to stay open until I get there and help me out! He wasn't able to work on it until the next day, but knowing that my car wasn't on the street and that it would be worked on immediately the next day made me feel at peace. They had worked on my car all day and I'll be honest I was panicking because my car is my life so I was calling them basically every 30 minutes. Enrique himself had personally spoke to me every single time and kept me updated on their every move. When my car was finally ready I was offered such a stellar price I was in shock! I took my car in to get my front bumper repainted. They didn't put back the lower engine cover which attaches to the bumper under the front to protect the engine from dirt and road debris. I noticed the part missing after I got home after picking up the car. I went drove back and the owner said he would order the part. I called in a few times to check the status of the ordered part but they never ordered the part and I had to buy the part myself. Stay away from this shop they will take your money and take parts from your car. They deserve no stars. read more

I would recommend this place to have your work done on your car through an auto insurance claim. I have a 2012 yaris that needed some body work done due to a car accident in 2012 with an open claim. Ron and Enrique are very nice. Ron goes above and beyond however you do have to be clear on what you need done on your car and follow up with phone calls. Since my car needed more work and time to get fixed I was presented with a loaner car at no charge a big help. However, the first week with the car I got a flat tire so I called Ron and he was able to replace the tire within a day so I can get to work. Then the car battery went dead (since it is a Chevrolet) and touchy with the auto lights that turn on automatically in the day time (so make sure if you get this car to double check the lights are off when you get off the car) and Ron installed a new battery. Then the main reason I took this car there is because I had a cracked windshield and afraid to drive it like that. I had been driving my car with the body damage because I did not have enough money for the deductible and saw an ad about a deal to get your car fixed " pay 0 deductible and free car rental" so of course I checked it out because it seemed like a hell of a deal. In all I got a great body work repair for my car;everything but the window because the claim did not cover it. So this was a bit frustrating leaving the place with a nice with 2012 yaris all fixed up with a big crack on the windshield still. The deductible was half of what I actually had to pay and took a little over two weeks to get it fixed and Ron is defiantly the go to person. All places have their good and bad you just have to be clear on what you need done and ask about the expenses first so you don't get different prices. Most of all be CLEAR on EVERYTHING YOU NEED done on your car before you pick it up. So I was stuck paying half the deductible because my expenses were too high is what I was told but still a hell of a deal. I would have had to pay twice as much somewhere else and pay for a rental car. So you want cheap you get cheap!! lol..can't complain Now I am stuck paying another 200 just for the windshield but Ron helped me every step of the way and even arranged for someone to get it soon ASAP! So if you need a fast cheap way to get your car fixed I recommend Speedway! read more

I have been procrastinating for over 2 years to get some exterior parts of my car repaired (repaint front bumber, roof, & few other places). I checked several places that say they are competitive. If their prices were too good, then their quality was bad. I was glad to find a repair facility that could work on my 30 ft motor home. The collision repairs required special orders from the manufacturer and custom paint job. I was very happy with the results. It looked better than ever. Ron acted like it was his RV and did a lot of extra work on it at no cost. He takes pride in his work and couldnt wait for me to see how good it turned out. i was overwhelmed. He cleared up the head lights and clear coated them so they would stay clear. I have been driving by this shop on the way to work for months, and when I needed to get a custom paint job done on a part for my Vespa Scooter, I stopped by to check them out. Ron Foster greeted me, and from the first moments of conversation I knew I had found the right shop for custom work. Ron took the time to discuss my goals for the part, the fact the paint//pearl/metal flake from my bike would be tricky to match (One year color from 2006) and what to expect. I brought the part (A Piaggio luggage box that was blue/scuffed/dinged) and a panel from my bike for color match. My bike is white with pearl and blue flake. Ron quoted me a GREAT price, beat all my expectations on time fame, and even though he was VERY clear the color would be "close" it was better than spot on. It was done WAY faster than I expected, and it looks GREAT. While I was awaiting this job, someone hit my brand new Scion IQ while parked. I of course took it to Ron, since I had to pick p the part anyway, and we came up with a great repair plan and cost that is, in my opinion, more than fair.
