One of my favorite parts was the nature center. The staff and naturalists were incredibly kind and helpful, and the space itself is really well done. There's a cute gift shop, educational displays, and even a small children's museum feel with a few live animals to see. It's a great spot to learn something new or play around. Outside, the park is incredible. The trails are extremely well maintained, both the wooded paths and the paved ones, making it perfect for an easy walk or a hike. There's also an outdoor fitness trail that I loved. It has different workout stations along the way, and it's actually really fun, not just functional. It's a great way for both kids and adults to be active. There's also a huge playground and a mini water park area for kids, plus accessible bathrooms and good seasonal amenities. It's very family friendly without feeling overcrowded. If you're into disc golf, this place is a gem. There's a large disc golf course, and they even sell discs and gear right inside the nature center. Another thing worth mentioning is how amazing Great Parks of Hamilton County is overall. They offer so many programs like beginner fishing, guided hikes, plant swaps, art workshops, amphibian hunts, and even owl pellet dissections. Not all of these are specific to this park, but many are hosted here, and it really adds to how special the experience is. Overall, this is an extremely pleasant place to spend time. Whether you're walking the trails, working out, bringing kids to play, or just exploring the nature center, there's something for everyone.

For the little ones, there's a splash park in season (check for cost) with a snack bar. Frisbee golf, nature center, shelter rentals, very clean bathrooms and other amenities available. You will need a parks pass to get in but the yearly rate is worth it and gets you in to all the parks in Anderson Township.

This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

Maybe going during the middle of the week when people are at work helped. My kids loved the big pool area with all the fun tools and toys. They also likes the slide, but I would suggest they have a lifeguard who is comfort with kids and telling them to get in line be there because the poor kid who was there was not at all. I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. Plenty of hiking / walking trails. The pool is not heated and we were there early in the season so it was still too cold for us. The hot tub was great, but could use a little TLC. It is plenty big (made by the residents themselves!). I had to rewrite the brakes in our trailer while there and not one person complained, in fact one of the residents lent me some tools! It's a little rustic and could use an infusion of money to improve the maintenance; however all-in-all a great place. Check out the nearby Serpent Mound park! We will definitely stay there again!
