    Amandas are everywhere!

This stadium should be renamed to Amanda stadium. If you're looking for Amanda J... she's here(even when there's not a game going on). If you're looking for Amanda D... check here first. Amandas love this stadium! I think this stadium falls into the 'good enough' category. It's a shame that the UofL football team has gone so downhill since the first time Petrino was here. Say what you want about how crazy Petrino is, he never should've left UofL over a decade ago to try and coach in the NFL. The Yum Center or as my friends like to call it, The Yummy Center, is a world-class facility. This field is okay and it gets the job done but I've been to better stadiums. Someone else mentioned an echo with the sound system. That's definitely the case. At an event, drinks tend to be expensive at a place like this. While they're expensive here, they aren't price gouging like most other places. I would also say that this place is good enough for concerts but that really depends on how/where the artist sets up their stage and where your seats are. The concessions leave something to be desired. It is football food but it reminds me more of a high school football offering than a college offering. Honestly, your money would be better spent at a Louisville City game. I also hate to prop up baseball but you might even have a better time at a Bats game(that's likely because of Slugger Field though). Either way, you should still visit Cardinal Stadium and take in a game.

I have been to many UofL games at Cardinal Stadium and a couple of concerts over the years. any of the lower-level seating is great and gives a good view. The staff has always been friendly and there is plenty of concession stands, there is usually a wait but that is at most stadiums or large venues. Seeing Taylor Swift at Cardinal Stadium was an awesome experience very cool to see that huge of a crowd all enjoying the same artist in one spot!

To see we're the University has come since 1990's. Last time I was in it They hadn't built the 2nd upper deck or added bleachers in end zone we're players come out. Place is very nice concessions are easy to get to, Along with bathrooms. We had 5 women in our group, They all had minimal purses & was told at main entrances they wouldn't be able to bring them in. We went on & had no problem at all. Everyone was hand scanned with metal detector going in. Add extra time to get in.

Great newer stadium. It seems like they are doing new upgrades every year. Great views from every seat I've had and I've had a few. Ticket prices are reasonable for the most part and the food and drink prices are high unless there is a "happy hour special" or something going on. Restroom are kept pretty clean given the number of people and they get in to empty the trash frequently. Parking is limited, but lots of folks trying to make a buck around the stadium give you some pretty good options. Tailgating in the Expo Center parking lot before football games is organized and a lot of fun.

The campus at Louisville is beautiful. The stadium is nice. It's not a top tier stadium but it is okay for taking in a game.

Probably the best stadium in the country. When packed with cardinal fans, one of the loudest, ground shaken stadiums around. Even while seated in the upper section, still a very good view of the whole game. Concessions can get backed up during half time though. Get everything you need before the game, find your seat, enjoy the game.

My wife and children dragged me to a Taylor Swift concert at Cardinal Stadium - just kidding, I dragged them! Anyway, the venue staff were on their A game regarding the security measures and the check-in process. For a sellout concert, they made things flow very smoothly! I'm sure Taylor and Camila Cabello could put on an amazing show anywhere in the world, but Cardinal Stadium did not disappoint! The bass thumped and the lights lit up the skies of Louisville! Zero complaints!!

I'm not a Cards fan but I was here to see my Noles get a hard fought won over the Cards here on a Thursday night. The stadium isn't huge but is a pretty good size at maybe 55,000. The stadium has a new, modern feel and the view even from the top deck isn't bad at all (but walking up the ramps to get up there will burn off that southern food you ate pregame). The entire stadium is seats rather than backless metal benches so everyone's back says thank you to whoever made that decision. One odd thing is the seats don't fold up like at most stadiums so getting up to let someone walk by can be a little tricky. They serve beer and bourbon here and the prices aren't awful by stadium standards. The fans were really loud and also couldn't have been nicer. The Louisville fans behind me saw my FSU gear and talked to me most of the game. The guys in front of me said they were UK fans there to cheer against the Cards. I had a great time and look forward to coming back in 2 yrs when the Noles will be back. Let's hope they win again and Louisville is a welcome addition to the ACC.

Great stadium! First time I've seen bourbon and cocktails served at a college football stadium. I don't feel like there's a bad seat in the house. We were in pretty high seats but it was still really easy to see the field.

Great first visit to Papa Johns Stadium. The layout of this place is pretty nice. I'd like to think there is not really a bad seat in this place. I feel like once they finish adding the last section it'll look great. My one gripe is the seats are like those plastic seats when you visit someone in jail. Haha they are very tiny and uncomfortable. I don't recommend buying tickets from the box office game day. Prices seem to be elevated and not worth it. I also recommend trying to get a parking pass, otherwise random parking ranges from 15-20 dollars. The tailgating looks awesome. Louisville sure knows how to throw a good tailgate. If you're a Cardinal fan I highly recommend checking a game out this season!!

Are there gender neutral bathrooms anywhere in the stadium?

No sadly there are not yet. Unclear if that will be coming.

Even aficionados of everything about the state fair would have to concede its lack of architectural or ecological merit. But thanks to Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness, I can associate this airy little rodeo arena with happy memories of the county's first wide-scale COVID vaccination effort. I enjoyed a good dozen shifts rubbing elbows with a bunch of other do-gooders, and it was so much fun to take part in it. This review coincides with the wrap-up of this use of the space, and so it can serve as a requiem as much as a review. Next week it will serve the Kosair Circus, followed by several graduations. But may its 6-month life as a vaccination drive-thru serve as a reminder that there are times when even a creaky old arena in the center of a treeless landscape can be a lifeline and that true public spaces hold great potential for our communities when we let good organizations have that chance.

The entrance sits across the street from the main entrance area of Uofl home football stadium cardinal stadium. The entrance is actually maintained and monitored by event security. I didn't make it to the season opener against eku for the 2021 season but for the second game we played central Florida on a Friday night (and won!) so before I entered the stadium I decided to check this new experience out. Event security wands and checks you before entering. Upon entering there is a large spacious area for food trucks, beer trucks and a huge turf area full of corn hole boards. There was a stage with a live band playing and they had an outdoor bar that was packed to the gills so I didn't get a great look. They have a nice inside area that was Rsvp only. The vibe and atmosphere here was great. Plenty of fun tailgate activities. Cool food trucks for pizza or bbq and plenty of places to buy beer or harder alcohol beverages. In the very back is a patrolled bathroom that is a roll of port o pots protected behind a wooden fence for extra privacy. Everything here was well down. Very visually pleasing and cool cards decor. I think the alley is going to be immensely popular and foresee it becoming a long standing fun pre game tradition for Uofl football games. I look forward to what the future holds for the alley. And as always.....Go Cards!

The inside is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. My school hosted our graduation here, and it was an excellent choice. Getting there was easy because we stayed at a hotel directly across the street, and our room even overlooked the venue. I didn't have to worry about parking as I parked at the hotel and walked across the street, but I believe there is either street parking or garage parking available. Outside, my school had several photo props set up, which made for a fun experience before and after the ceremony. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized. There were staff members throughout the venue directing graduates and guests, so I never felt confused about where to go. They even had people available to help graduates get dressed properly and make sure everything looked perfect before taking pictures. Although there were nearly 1,000 graduates, the ceremony moved along surprisingly well and didn't feel overly long. The seating for spectators looked comfortable, and it seemed like there was a good view of the stage from every section. The venue was also very comfortable, I never felt too hot or too cold during the ceremony. The graduates' seating was nice, and I appreciated that there were large TV screens displaying each graduate as they crossed the stage so family and friends could easily see them. The stage setup looked great, and staff members were there to assist graduates as they walked up and down the steps, which made everything feel safe and organized. The school offered both a morning and an afternoon ceremony, and I attended the afternoon one. Everything appeared to have been cleaned and reset before our ceremony began, and the event ran smoothly from start to finish. There was no food served at the event, but overall, my graduation was a wonderful experience, and I thought this venue did an excellent job hosting such a large event.

This includes: * The cow costume contest! I know I wrote about this in my past review, but this seems to be an overlooked aspect of the fair. Cows and their kid handlers dress up in coordinating costumes. The creativity, the uncooperative cows and inopportune moos, the announcer just trying to keep up with it all -- it is a sight! * All of the livestock and animals you can get up and close with. These folks really take pride in their animals. Love to see it! * The great arts, crafts and other odd bits entered to win ribbons. I love it with people go big on their niche interests, and this is the Super Bowl (or at least the state version) for this. * The food! Every year something more and more adventurous and out there gets introduced. I didn't get to do as much epicurious exploring, but you know it's all there. * The rides. My kids are getting old enough to look forward to this. While this is sure to make an expensive experience even more so, I know we'll be spending more time here in years to come. There was construction around the fairgrounds this year, which made getting to where we needed to go a bit difficult, but I'm excited to see what the expo center expansion means for the fair in years to come.
