I could tell she really cared about my shopping experience, and she was very knowledgeable. Well, despite her recommendations, I returned to Yours Truly days later and purchased some things from there. It just had more of what I was looking for, and I was more than happy to give the woman the business. Overall, it's a great stationary store to check out whilst in Brooklyn!

First, she didn't know the price of the item I wanted to purchase, she said she only works there and that the owner wasn't available at the time, because SHE was at a funeral. Then she gave me a price, but she didn't allow me to inspect the item closely, she said it can't be taken down from the window before Christmas. I went there again after Christmas and she said it can only be discounted 20%, but again, she would not let me inspect it. At that time, she said, she is a manager of the store and that owners are three man, the lady who was at a funeral was also a manager, not an owner of the store. Today, the item I wanted to purchase was still displayed on the window, and she lied that it was already sold, refusing to sell it to me. She was very rude and told me to get out of HER STORE, stating that she is the owner. This person by the name of Christine should not be manager of anything! She can take her whole store to her own home, because we - the residents of Bay Ridge don't need her NASTY ATTITUDE and lies! I will file a lawsuit against the store, and if she is the real owner, she will have to answer in Court, if not, I urge the owners to fire her, or they will be responsible for her nasty and discriminatory attitude!

I bought a couple of unique Halloween cards because I like to send snail mail to friends. They also have tons of pens, candles, novelties. They have some books, stickers, stamps. They also have a print press shop where you can make your own posters and prints. This is in a very contained and walkable area that has some other shops and marketplaces and also boasts nearby restaurants. You can make this into a full morning.
