When it comes to dental work, I am not afraid to say I cry and get major anxiety. This has absolutely changed because of this office. I went in for a consultation 3 days ago and I was helped by the whole staff. I felt comfortable and like I was going to be taken care of with good heart. I was scheduled to come in for an extraction on one of my broken teeth and I was nervous. Ashley and the entire staff helped me calm down and when Dr Petcu came in to extract my tooth, he gave me words of encouragement and informed me I would not feel anything. He did not lie. I was numb amazingly well and I was able to survive the extraction. I highly recommend coming into this office and getting your teeth taken care of. I know I will be going back again especially since they are the most friendliest office I have ever stepped foot into. Thank you Dr Petcu, Ashley, and all the staff in the office. I called about a front tooth replacement and over the phone they gave me a price of roughly 8 to $900 However, once i got there and they did their assessment with x-rays they wanted to charge me $5,500 for one front tooth. They're bait and switch technique not only upset me but wasted my time, then tried to talk me into a payment plan. It's one thing to make a profit but it's a completely different thing to try to rip somebody off with a extremely over priced rate. Don't waste your time unless you have the money to burn. There's plenty of Dentists in the South Bay and it shouldn't be too difficult to find out if a better rate this cost-effective. At this point I'm seriously considering a trip to Mexico which is way cheaper with very qualified Dentist. read more

I would like to share some feedback regarding a phone call I made to this office about a week ago. Not only was the front staff member I spoke to extremely rude and not helpful. They said I had to wait 14 days to get some x-rays sent over to me. mind you I am in pain and this is not convenient at all as I'm trying to get a second opinion because they are trying to do bone graft on a wisdom teeth which makes no sense at all. The total cost they were trying to charge was $3,000 with PPO insurance I was looking at almost 2,000 ! Insane right? Anyways, I'll be transferring to a different office without delay. read more

Staff is friendly and location is clean. I have gotten a crown done here before (2yrs ago) and they did a good job. I recently needed a root canal and I truly don't understand why this place is so expensive. They quoted me around $2,300 dollars. I have good insurance but after insurance they told me I would still owe over $1,000. I just went to another dentist in Torrance and paid under $300 for the same work. WARNING: THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! First appointment was conveniently a safe day walk-in which I greatly appreciated. Upon speaking to Dr. Chang, he recommended bone grafting for one tooth and wanted me to see their periodontist for confirmation. I had questions in between and contacted the office more than 6x within the month, and the price manager not once returned my call. Frustrated, I still proceeded to schedule the appointment with their periodontist and showed up. Dr. Baseer basically said I had 2 options and the home getting was up to me. That 10 minute chat costed $150!!?? They then proceeded to draft the cost plan for a bone draft and final crown, and the total was $20,000!!! General dentists are certified and trained to do bone grafting so I have no idea what they're thinking. I went ahead and found a crown specialist who quoted me $4000. AVOID ALL CARE DENTAL CENTERS AS THEY'RE IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND SCAMMING PEOPLE. EITHER THAT OR THEIR DENTISTS DIDN'T HAVE THE SKILLS AND COMPETENCY TO DO BONE GRAFTING. read more

To Whom it may concern I am requesting to speak with the head Dr in charge. I am a long time original patient daying back to the small office in Carson off of Main and 236th. I recently visited the office do to my sons retainer braking with in 6 months of his braces being removed. Jen estimated me to pay $350 out of pocket let alone I have dual coverage PPO Delta Insurance. When I questioned the estimate Jen was sturn and confident about the pricing. There was a HUGE LACK OF PATIENT CARE as nothing else was offered. No in house temporary No Payemnts plan. I then came home followed up with my insurance and found out that the fee is actually $248 and not $350. I have never had any issues in the past 11 years of being a patient here when working with Sandy or Gloria when patient care was there priority. Horrible experience, they took me last minute this past Saturday because I had extreme tooth pain and just couldn't wait to see my primary on Monday. They said my tooth was cracked and needed to be pulled and put a graft in and wanted to charge me $995. First off I waited two hours for the dentist to tell me that so I asked for antibiotics and pain killers and went on my way. Saw my primary dentist today which is Monday and they sent me to see a specialist in Torrance because the tooth was salvageable. They said the crack is only at the top and they can save my tooth with a root canal and crown. I just can't believe Care dental would rather make a quick buck then save someone's tooth. My referring doctor was Mardesich in San Pedro and Root Vision in Torrance was the best at taking care of me. Do not go to Care Dental - they are either not honest or uneducated. read more
