Extremely misleading with which treatments were covered under insurance. Specifically asked if anything was not being covered by insurance, and the answer was "the way insurance works is part of it is covered and part of it is not". Obviously. Except the treatments that were not covered at all was not disclosed until after the fact. They still have not submitted the required paperwork to my insurance and keep telling me it's not covered, when it clearly is after verifying with my insurance directly; it's just that insurance is missing paperwork from the dental office. read more

I Went to Washington Dental because I had a tooth ache and I was looking for a new dentist close to work. The thing with going to the dentist is that you're trusting them with something as precious as your teeth and you can only hope for the best. Well let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! I got x-rays and it turns out the tooth ache was caused by an infection and they needed to do a root canal. They shared that after a root canal the best direction to go is with a crown to protect the tooth. They gave me different options so that I could choose for myself. Fast forward to the results... Dr. A did an amazing job!! But honestly I was very satisfied with all the staff. Everyone was always super sweet and friendly, and in addition some of them were locals that even went to CHS! I was so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk staff, dental assistants, and dentist. My family felt so welcome here. We were taken in upon arrival and completed all X-rays and treatments in under an hour. Terrible experience. Scheduled a deep cleaning for 12pm and the day before they call to ask if I'd also like to do a filling I needed, I agreed and they asked for me to come in at 11am. I arrived at 10:45 and was not seen until 12:20pm. I had to walk up and ask how much longer it would take since I had another appointment. Once inside they said they can only do half of the deep cleaning today unless I wanted to pay out of pocket. Due to my job it is not easy to take days off, they should communicate that with patients when making the appointment. I wasted almost 3 hours of my day for nothing. Extremely unprofessional and no empathy for their patients. Lady making appointments had a terrible attitude on my way out of the office since I was unsure my availability. Very unfortunate as I had never had this experience before. Seems as if they are booking many appointments and they don't have enough staff. Witnessed 5 people leaving because they couldn't wait any longer. read more

One Saturday, I noticed a little discomfort when I bit down on my food. By Sunday, the pain had intensified, making me hesitant to eat anything at all. By Monday, I was feeling pretty desperate and knew I needed to see a dentist right away. I visited my local dentist and received a diagnosis of a tooth fracture along with an underlying infection. They provided me with a quote for a tooth implant that felt overwhelming, and the general manager firmly told me there was no way to reduce the cost. Feeling hopeless, I turned to my mom for advice, and she suggested I try the office she went to. To my relief, they were able to fit me into their schedule that very afternoon. When I arrived, they confirmed the same diagnosis and treatment plan as before, but this time, the experience was different. Lulu, the general manager, took the time to sit down with me and discuss options for lowering the costs. While I still had to pay quite a bit, I left feeling genuinely cared for. Since that day, I've returned for several follow-up appointments, and each time, I've been treated with kindness and respect by the entire staff. In particular, Dr. Hingu, Brenda (dental assistant), and Michelle (hygienest) make sure to check on me regularly and that I understood what they were going to do next throughout the visits. Extra props to Michelle for working on my teeth. It had been a long time since I got a proper cleaning out of fear of the dentist, and she diligently cleaned up my teeth. just now New I called at 9am and asked to come in for a dental emergency. I was given a 10am appointment. Prior to going to the appointment, I knew that I needed an extraction and wanted 1) confirm if it was infected 2) possibly have the tooth extracted as it had been pretty painful for a couple days. I arrived at 10am, filled out the necessary new patient paperwork but wasn't called back until after 11am. I was given X-rays. Even the tech could see the tooth that was causing issues and needed to be extracted. The doctor came in and gave me a full exam and mentioned they would put together a "treatment plan." After the exam, the insurance finance rep comes in and presents a dental Plan for $14,000 (after insurance). I expressed that I wanted to focus on the tooth that was giving me pain. She left out and came back with a $4500 plan (after insurance) for 3 extractions and a bone graph. After being there for 3 hours. I left in pain, no better than I had come and had to ask for a prescription for pain since they basically refused any treatment that didn't result in thousands of dollars. I will not return to Washington Dental, they are simply sales people. Not sure how people are getting regular procedures done without feeling the need to finance a simple tooth extraction. read more

Stay away from this dentist office! I came to this dentist just for a regular check up. til this day I am experiencing pain from two fillings that were done over 2 yrs ago. I didn't have pain before going to this office. I have read all the low rating reviews and I also experienced the same things. This office is all about lying to get out of pocket payments for unnecessary procedures, Carina/Karina is the person who lied to me about out of pocket expenses that I could not afford, her response was to apply for credit with them. I declined her offer. They charged my insurance for the"FREE EXAM". Always get a second opinion. Trust your gut. It's not rude to question them. Always check with your insurance and education yourself on what your insurance covers and does not cover. You can ask the dentist office for the codes they are using for the treatment and provide them to your insurance company for a truthful explanation of what they are trying to bill/treat you for. read more

They took me same day when I had an abscess tooth and gave me medication immediately to calm down the swelling and the extraction process was a breeze. There's no wait time maybe 5-10 minutes MAX! Came in for a cleaning and x-rays. Dr. Hindu was informative to my needs and answered dental questions that I could easily understand. Hygienist Michelle performed my cleaning and did an amazing job. Normally I walk out in pain because my gums are so sensitive but with her, it wasn't like that at all. Huge thanks to Michelle!
