I had exhausted the amount covered by Medicare last year and was paying out of pocket. However, they filed with Medicare anyway, and Medicare paid. BUT THEY DID NOT TELL ME. When I reviewed my EOBs and realized they had been paid twice I complained. At first they did not want to reimburse me, and when the manager at the Highhouse location agreed, it took MONTHS for me to paid. Four months from the time I paid them until they paid me, and I had to keep chasing them.

I had a…read morebunionectomy on my left foot back in September 2020 causing my left leg to be weak and uncomfortable compared to my right left. About a month after my surgery, I was referred to do physical therapy with CORA. I was honestly skeptical, didn't know much about physical therapy, and frustrated that I'm not healing as fast as I expected. On my first day, I was welcomed by Shane, a travel physicals therapist, who listened to my complaints and struggles with zero judgement. He made me feel comfortable and excited to work on my left leg and foot. When Shane wasn't available, I was seen by Jim or other CORA physical therapists. They are all friendly and welcoming! I had been going to CORA for about 2 months when I started to feel strong. I grew back on all the muscles that I lost post a foot surgery. By the end of my physical therapy, I was doing exercises to prepare myself to go back to hiking and running. It's been almost 1.5 months since I finished my physical therapy, and I'm happy to say that I'm able to run (2 miles in 40 minutes). If you have any issues with your body, I strongly recommend CORA, especially the Apex location, to check out. It will literally help you! :)

Wish I'd have been told from the beginning. I've since started going to a privately owned practice and the difference is night and day. Good for the not so serious stuff. They schedule 3 people per session with one therapist which limits the therapist's ability to focus on each patient and help as needed.
