0 stars if I could!! This place is nothing but a scam. I had a move scheduled with them for September 10th and they couldn't even bother to show up. I've called the office, texted numbers I've talk to people through multiple times before and no response. It's a week later and I still haven't heard anything from anyone. I sent a message to them via Facebook and all they did was read the message and not respond. They took a $50 deposit from me that I don't think I will get back. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Communication is not good... Reached out via Yelp on 8 Nov to get estimates to remove furniture from garage so pics could be taken for selling then place the furniture back into the garage...work to be done on 11 Nov. Care More Movers responded morning 9 Nov and I accepted their bid and selected the 12-2pm window. They said deposit email would be coming that night, it didn't arrive until the following day, 10 Nov, around 5:30pm. Reviewing the doc I noticed no time was listed. I contacted the company to confirm 12-2 as I have other activities planned for the day. Someone responded ARRIVAL between 12-1. I said wait, that wasn't in any of the docs sent. They asked what time, I said 12 with a 15 min window and if you can't, I'll look for another company. No response. At 9:40am on 11 Nov I get a text asking if we were still on for noon as they can have someone arrive by 12:15. I responded no cause when I didn't hear back I had to make other arrangements. Company needs to tighten up their customer service skills. Poor communication erodes confidence in the organization. UPDATE I've lowered the star to 1 because sadly the response from the Company is an out right lie. The one hour window is no where in the email or docs sent to me. On top of poor communication, they are disingenuous. Could have simply said my bad, we didn't tell you. We'll do better next time. To not take responsibility...sad. read more

Let me start by saying that I have moved 10 times in 6 years as part of my job, so I like to think I know a thing or two about the moving process. I have seen good movers and bad movers, and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. And we never even made it to the actual moving process! I called to schedule a move, and spoke with the owner of the company, who seemed very accommodating to set up my time and date. I was given a quote and told him that I wanted to book it. I did not say that I wanted to shop around, that I wanted to move forward with booking it. He sent me a sheet that included my move address and my contact information, which I filled out and sent back within 4 hours. I then heard nothing back from them after that. Since I had explicitly said I wanted to book his company on the phone, and the sheet I was sent was more of a basic contact information page, and by no means an official contract, I thought I was good to go. Seems reasonable. I waited through my scheduled arrival time on the day I booked, and no one showed up. I called the company to confirm that the movers were still on the way, and I was told that the movers were not coming. I was given no explanation, and the only thing he said was that he never received the page back that he had sent me. I forwarded the email to him that I had sent, with the time stamp and attachment, and he told me there was nothing he could do for me. He told me that he could have movers there that afternoon but they could only work for the contractual 2 hours that I had requested. At NO time did I ever ask for two hours. The QUOTE is for two hours, and 75 dollars for each additional hour. Every other move I have ever done have the same system, a basic quote and then a hourly rate after that. They work until the work is done. Was this company planning on working for 2 hours and then just stopping midway through? A moving company is a service provided for people who are going through the stressful process of moving. They are supposed to alleviate that stress by having an open-communication, clear instructions, and professional format. This company was none of that. Do NOT waste your time with them. Let me start by saying that moving is stressful, and the process of sifting through lists of moving companies can be challenging. Company reviews aren't always accurate, and the whole selection process can be a bit of a toss-up. I consider myself very fortunate that I choose Care More Movers. The initial setup was fairly easy and straight-forward, which, with today's technology should be expected. I was set up for 3 movers at a given price. I lived on the 3rd floor in my old apartment with 3 flights of stairs and no elevators. The movers arrived and immediately started moving items, while one begin to dissemble. I didn't expect that level of prompt organization or initiative, which immediately put me at ease with the fact that they knew what they were doing. They all seemed to have been working together for awhile as they coordinated the entire process extremely well. I have moved things up and down those stairs, so I know that isn't an easy task. Fortunately, the new apartment had an elevator, which made transporting the moved furniture and items easier. What impressed me the most about these gentleman was their professionalism. No squabbles, no time wasted. When they weren't sure about something, they respectfully asked me questions. They inspected and surveyed the furniture until they figured out the best way to disassemble it, instead of simply winging it and risking damage. They were organized, and packed a truck that I didn't think would hold everything in a compact way that was truly amazing. They actually handled the move as if they were moving their own homes. As if time was money (which it is!). They weren't leisurely at all and went full-tilt into the task of completing the move. It was a pleasure for me to assist them with some things as they had such a positive energy throughout the process, even though they had to deal with those three flights of stairs. If Care More Movers wanted to use any workers as representatives of their company's work ethic and quality, these three gentleman would be the ones that I would spotlight. The initial setup was handled well. No hidden charges or outlandish fees for gas or padding. The moving process was handled very well, the movers were proficient, professional, and left a great impression. I don't think I could have asked for or expected a better team of movers. I hope I won't be moving anytime soon, but if I ever have to again, I will definitely call Care Move Movers. The agreement was for a 2 hour minimum @ $115 per hour for 3 workers. The job was to unload 2 PODS. 2 - 3 hours is more than enough for 3 movers. The events of the move are as follows. Arrival between 8:30 and 9:30AM. When no one showed up by 9:30 and no one would answer a call I started calling other moving companies to come. I finally did a call after 9:30 saying they would be late but would be here before 10:00. They did not arrive until after 10:00 and with 2 people. At that time they started to unload the PODS and some time latter the third person arrived. 2 1/2 house latter they were done. When it came time to settle up he told me it was $375 total. I thought that was high and could not understand how that amount was calculated, but figured $375 minus the $100 deposit was fair and would not argue about it. He did mention that they scheduled a 5 hour window, but that did not mean anything to me as a 5 hour window / minimum was NEVER part of any conservation or communications and figured it was a planning thing for them. I text them a few times prior to the move trying to determine about what the final amount would be and again a 5 hour minimum was mentioned in the reply. This is the text I received when I asked what the 2 hour fee is, you said "you have 3 movers at an hourly rate of $115". Again no mention of a 5 hour minimum. When I got the receipt in the mail and i reached out to determine why it was $575 their comment about being charged 2X the agreed to amount is "sorry for the inconvenience" What a dramatic understatement. I feel miss lead at a minimum and at worst cheated. read more

Excellent movers and great guys! They were on time and ready to work as soon as they got to my storage unit. I basically only had to show them the unit then they took it over. Letting me sit in my vehicle and get some other things I needed to get done that morning. These guys are fast and efficient. A job that took three men, almost four hours to do took these two guys less than three hours. I was blown away by how fast they were able to get the truck loaded. They carried heavy pieces and much more up three floors to my apartment without ruining any of my stuff or damaging the stairwell walls in any way. Korbin, the owner of the company, quoted me a price before the move and to my surprise, he honored that price after the move. Most companies will hold your stuff hostage and charge you double or charge you extra secret charges after the job is done. Not Care More Movers. What they quote you is what they charge you. And in my opinion, their price was beyond reasonable. Also, I expressed to Korbin days before the move how much I would appreciate it if they take extra care when it came to my television and I was not disappointed. He remembered my request and I felt like my television was in great hands. If Korbin and the guys at Care More keep up with this great service they are going to be an unstoppable force in this area for anyone looking for honest, reasonably priced, hard working movers. I will definitely use them again for any move I have! Thanks again guys. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** I used this company just last weekend for the second move in a row and I have not been disappointed once again by Care More. They were on time, took directions very well, and not only is the staff professional and extremely good at what they do but they are also personal and friendly. Korbin and his brother, who were a part of my original crew and were present for this move as well even remembered who I was and conversations we had over a year ago. Now THAT is customer service. After unpacking everything, I have nothing broken, lost or everything was in great condition. You can tell they really take the time to take care of your belongings. Also extra points since I had to ask them to move my stuff up a spiral staircase. Which they did without hesitation and did very proficiently. We were very disappointed with the company. The movers showed up with no dolly and nothing to wrap our furniture. During the move they dropped many clean clothes on dirty water in the street, they bent our 55 inch TV and scratched a couple of our bedroom items due to rough handling. I felt they were not prepared and very unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company and will not be using their services again. I hired these movers through a third party app. This was my second time trying to hire them. Their communication is horrible. They cancelled on me on a Friday evening an hour before moving. It seems that whatever activities they had planned for their Friday did not work with the commitment they had made to move us. So an hr before start time, I got a text to tell me that they would not be showing up. This happened as we were picking up the truck for our move. The U-Haul folks could not believe that we received a text canceling the move instead of a phone call. Too add insult to injury, I had just spoken to the mover, so the excuse they gave was completely fabricated. It was Friday & THEY DO NOT CARE...Never again. What a nightmare. read more

Extremely inconvenient and disappointing. I scheduled a move for Saturday, but they didn't show up in the time window we agreed on. They eventually called saying their truck had overheated, and they would be there an hour late. Then they called again saying they couldn't make it that day, but they offered me a small discount if I was willing to reschedule for the following day. I took them up on it (I believe in second chances, and there was no way I'd be able to hire someone else on that short notice anyway). But on Sunday morning, they simply didn't show up-- no phone call, nothing. They never returned my phone call, and I still haven't heard from them. Seeing as I'm not the first to experience a no-show (see the other reviews), I wouldn't recommend hiring this company, ESPECIALLY if you really need to move out on a certain day. Korbin seemed very polite and professional when I initially spoke to him over the phone, but unfortunately they did not keep their commitment and get the job done, and that's what matters. read more

Korbin confirmed my move via email 6 days before my moving day. Then on my moving day, nobody showed up, called or texted me. I emailed, called, texted and even contacted through Yelp multiple times. I still haven't heard back from them 2 days later. Maybe the company closed? Anyway, I would recommend avoiding using this company, unless you want to end up paying a lot extra for a last minute replacement mover like we did... Oh, they also changed the quoted priced between yelp and email, not that it mattered much in the end. read more

I confirmed our date and time for our move a few days before our scheduled appointment and all was good. That morning they called our home phone and said that they would be delayed in arriving. Not being home I never saw the message. They did not bother to call the cell which I would have responded immediately. So they ended up being over 4 hours late. Many other events needed to be rescheduled due to their lateness. Once they arrived I will say that they worked very hard and were very personable. I was offered an 10% discount which was fair. I doubt that I would use them again as I can't count on their prompt arrival. read more

I am someone who never writes reviews, but I really want to help anyone from avoiding working with this company. Long story short, they cancelled day of. If you scroll down on other reviews you will see this isn't the first time. They are trying to blame it on us that we never responded to our email survey, but we have the time-stamped email, we responded within 4 hours of the initial email. This was on Sunday for a Wednesday move, so if they "never received it" they did not reach out or try to clear this up. These guys are an unorganized scam and will try to blame you for their oversights and poor business practices. So when they never showed up, and we contacted them (no one contacted us), after they blamed us for not responding (which we did), we tried to work out having them just come pack and we would move the stuff ourselves. We were told they would "lose too much money" that way. They don't take any blame for screwing this all up and have refused to help us in any way. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
