In just three weeks, I've made more progress than I expected, and I truly credit that to her expertise and encouragement. She's knowledgeable, compassionate, adaptable, and completely dedicated to her patients. I'm so grateful she was part of my recovery journey. Thank you Kathy !

Sarah Underwood brought her warm smile, calming disposition, and expertise to me and my family during an uncertain time. Sarah explained the process, offered a "what we could expect," and answered a plethora of questions regarding caregiving. My family was not 100% sure of the direction we were going to take with my mom since moving to a different state was also an option. Sarah did not pressure us and gave us the time we needed to make the best decision for my mom.. and dad, who at 90 wanted to still take care of everything on his own. As it happened, my mom ended up being admitted to the hospital and then transferred to a rehab center. When Sarah found out where, she paid a visit to my mom in the facility, held her hand and had a good talk. She completely didn't have to, but did anyway. FYI.. I have a picture of their two beautiful smiles! And if that wasn't enough, I was having a tough time getting in touch with a representative at the facility (since I live out of state) Sarah came to the rescue. She got a hold of someone to reach out to me. Sarah Underwood is wonderful- inside and out and a beautiful representation of the company's standard of care. Families first, and it shows!

After being texted, "I'm creating the care plan now and we will keep you posted," I didn't hear from them for three days. Then, while I'm beginning my day of caregiving for my loved one the doorbell rings and, SURPRISE!, their caregiver arrived without any announcement or warning. I was completely shocked and when the caregiver (who was nice) called the office who talked me into letting her stay. Of course, instead of the respite I wanted, now I had to deal with an upset loved one and an unplanned arrival. This actually made this one of the worst days I've had in a long time because I had no idea anyone would show up. I should have sent her away but I was too flummoxed to think straight. Anyway, Chamberlin did make sure to charge my credit card for this unwanted, unrequested visit. I canceled the contract and highly recommend against dealing with this company. In fact, now I'm kind of afraid to even ask for help again knowing that the first time I turned out to be quite a hindrance rather than assistance. ADDENDUM: After this review was posted I was contacted by the owner of the company who wanted me to remove this review. He offered a refund if I would take it down. I felt that to be an ethics violation and refused. He did seem sincere in wanting to make things right although the damage was done. I've re-read my original review and still vouch to its accuracy and honesty. I just learned a refund was issued without preconditions. My experience was still horrid but it's possible it was a learning experience for the company. (I personally learned nothing that will help my situation.) Anyway, I'm changing the rating from to two stars instead of one in with the hope this will not happen to someone else.

Just wanted to give an update we've been using this agency for over 1.5 years now w/ no complaints…read more Freda the owner has been great scheduling trying to fill in spots. My mom the client is a bit picky w/ caretakers so it's hard for Freda but she does her best to keep all 7 days of the week covered. I talked to my mom and our favorite caretakers are Stacey, Cynthia, and Lisa. Stacey and Cynthia mainly work during the week to keep coverage from what I can see. I hear them speak to my mom when I'm in the hallway and they're very nice and sweet. I'll be honest it's nice to hear my mom have small talk with people other than my brother and I. I believe these two Stacey and Cynthia are the only ones currently giving her a bed bath. If we didn't have them during the week we'd be in bad shape. They've also helped w/ my mom when a physical therapist is here w/ the hoyer to lift her up to do things so they are trained. Lisa, mainly comes in on the weekends unless she has time to fill in during the week. She's a very sweet lady whose very nice and appreciative of whatever we do for her. She's communicative and gives her advice on my mom's care. Again, we've been using this agency for over 1.5 years and I see no reason why we wouldn't keep using them. Give them a try especially if you're in the Yorba Linda area since they're located here.

My mother underwent a knee replacement and required long-term assistance after returning home…read more Kaiser referred her to Care Partners for in-home care during her recovery. Over the course of several weeks, I worked closely with Lina while arranging the additional support my mother needed following her surgery, which had been significantly delayed due to the Kaiser strike. Throughout the process, Lina was professional, compassionate, kind, and extremely helpful. There were several frustrating moments related to scheduling issues, many of which I expressed to Kaiser. Lina was always honest and transparent, explaining that all of their Spanish-speaking caregivers were currently assigned to other clients. Even so, she consistently took the time to listen to my concerns, answer questions, and help explore possible solutions. Lina maintained regular communication to ensure my mother received the specific care she needed when she needed it. While there were some scheduling challenges along the way, Lina remained proactive, attentive, and supportive, helping us navigate each obstacle. She also worked closely with her scheduling team to make sure my mother's care needs were met. I am grateful for Lina's dedication and commitment throughout this process. Thank you, Lina, and thank you to Care Partners for the care and support provided to my mother during her recovery. Enrique M.

Caregivers are constantly canceling shortly before appointments, and then no replacement is sent. Imagine leaving an elderly client, who pays you well because they need help with everything... to fend for themselves. Not very caring At All!! We have asked for consistency with the caregivers, but instead they keep sending new people which is very stressful for the client. Not very caring! Every time they send a new person, we have to train them, and some of them are simply not qualified for the job Not very professional! Getting a hold of case managers like Gina and Hilda is difficult and they don't return calls or messages. Even multiple messages. Super unprofessional. We were canceled on (AGAIN) at midnight, last night. It is now almost 5pm the following day and nobody has returned phone calls and messages or offered an explanation..not even and apology, and they will not let me know if they have someone on the schedule for tomorrow as requested. Could it get more un-professional? I really doubt it. They have One awesome caregiver there, but she might not be working with them too much longer, and she is honestly the only reason we are not going forward with another agency at this moment..but that will change the second she is no longer there. The communication was great in the beginning, as my client has them hired 12 hours a day, seven days a week Then slowly communication became more and more difficult and time consuming and the cancelations started to occur frequently and during the middle of the night. I am the nighttime caregiver who then has to cancel my daytime clients to stay and do the job the Care Partner agency was hired to do. I have had to cancel on other clients 4 times in two months because of this agency, which not only makes me look unreliable, it also means I have to work 36 hours in a row without a break Totally unacceptable I just tried one last time at 7.30pm and was told rudely to call back tomorrow for another round of leaving messages for people who will not be calling back. Ridiculous!! I absolutely do not recommend this company, Care Partners. It must be a joke. The care is simply NOT there!
