I love that they offer Web Check-In. When my husband woke up at 5 am complaining of back pain, I was able to check in ahead of time. They called me 30 minutes before they opened which allowed us to be in the parking lot and at the door before everyone else. They do accept walk-ins, but holy moly do they get busy! We were only there for about an hour, and by the time we were walking out, the wait was 2 hours. The staff was kind, the doctor was great. Check out could have been a tad smoother, as we had to wait almost 15 minutes to check out.... not because of a line, but because the patient rep was assisting the receptionist. I arrived at my appointment time and was told I did not have an appointment even though the staff on the phone said to come at 4. The staff could care less that I was given incorrect information and was going to be left to sit for over 2 hours as they officially closed at 5. I was there past 6. When I asked the nurse if I could get my sons strep test results she said no and yelled at me. I asked for her name so I could make an official complaint. Her name is Kerry Davis. I cannot understand why a nurse would yell at a patients mother for asking for strep test results. Why she wasn't reprimanded by a doctor is also a mystery. She was so loud my son heard it. Awful. Had the worst pain I have experienced in my life and sat for nearly two hours. Meanwhile people that had done a "web check in" came right in as well as work related physicals. I worked in busy ERs and a level 1 trauma center for years. I guess the idea of TRIAGE has gone out of style. I went to Concentra and was seen as soon as I walked in. They apparently recognized the pain that I was experiencing. I was taken to X-ray with in minutes. The films showed a vertebral injury. Needless to say I won't be back or recommend the place. Suffering from a 5 day migraine I decided to go see a doctor. The staff was very nice letting me go into a room where I could keep the lights off. The Nurse and Doctor Courtright where very compassionate to my situation and took me back fast so I could get back home. I would them before going somewhere else. read more

I had a relatively pleasant experience here considering how horrible I was feeling with a 104 degree fever. The staff was really friendly. My nurse (I think her name was Janae or something along those lines) was very friendly and sweet. They did some tests pretty quickly (within 15 minutes) to figure out what was wrong with me (yay strep!) and Dr. Courtright came in to explain it all and take an extra look. She was also very friendly and easy-going. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is for the long wait. I did have to wait more than 2 hours to get in but I think the staff's personality made up for the lousy wait time. I'll just be sure to use the web check in next time. read more

I was terribly sick & checked in online to Care Now. The receptionist was nice & the RN was great. I only give them 3 stars bc I had to wait in the room for 45 min. Had bronchitis & a RN called to ck on me a few days later. Its never gonna be a wonderful experience going to urgent care but this was fairly painless. read more

I checked in on line for my husband this morning. He had a dry hacky cough for a week. When you check in on line it asks for all your personal information including birthdate which I provided. When we arrived for the appt my husband was turned away as we have Medicare...even though we were going to private pay. They refused to treat him period. Supposedly because it is a Medicare ruling. I could not find this anywhere in the Medicare rules. In fact I found right the opposite. They are driving people with Medicare to the emergency room with higher cost for medical care and non emergency issues. This is what is wrong with our medical industry these days. Shame on CareNow for not treating those with Medicare. Shame on CareNow for not caring about the elderly! read more

Worst Care EVER! Unprofessional and VERY RUDE Nurse staff. My Daughter had to visit this facility to be released for work due to a work related injury. Care now contacted her Temp Agency requesting she come in for a final apt as she missed her apt yesterday as the Wound Care Dr told her she did not need to return to Care Now. When my daughter got there, they didn't know anything about her coming or what needed to be done. They barked at her. The Nurse Jeane treated her like crap because they wouldn't listed to what my daughter was telling her. They called in others that arrived AFTER my daughter as punishment. She had a door slammed in her face and Jeane told the ladies at the front counter to "Make her sit and wait because she was being a bitch". Jeane said this within ear shot of my daughter. Not very professional and wouldn't trust my care to these people at all. They couldn't even get the injured leg right on the paper work. Terrible place. Don't waste your time or sanity. read more

This CareNow is top notch. It can be attributed to the expert care that my wife and I receive from the doctors and support staff at this facility. They don't get any better than Dr. Fleischer, Dr. Ryder and Dr. Court right. I trust all of them with my health from diagnosis to successful treatment. This was one of the best experience I have had in a urgent care place. From start to finish. I will definitely return he. I was in the ER 2 weeks ago it took them 45 minutes to find a vain to get blood. Care now it took this guy 15 seconds. I had surgery last week. Beyond irritated. Did a web check-in from the DFW at 7 am, 1 hour away from Burleson. Showed up at 8am at CareNow when then doors opened, since we live in Cleburne now and didn't want to drive back. Sat in the lobby for an hour watching walk-ins see the doctor. I know they were all walk-ins bc I heard them say they were walk-ins. Finally asked the receptionist when it would be my turn. "An hour, you are a web-check-in". So had I been a walk-in I would have already been seen! What a crock! Worst experience of any Care Now facility I have ever had. Front desk staff very disorganized and flippant. I can't prove it bc it is my word against theirs but they are violating HIPAA left and right. When the receptionist would call web check ins to come in she used their name and reason for their visit where the whole lobby could hear the conversation. She even made fun of a few issues people were coming in for. They even discussed prescriptions and diagnosis with patients as they checked out very openly in the lobby area. The doctor asked me the usual hx about my daughter and why I had brought her in. She looked in her ears and listened to her lungs. Flu swab was negative. She looks at me and says "hmmmm Mom what else do you think could be the problem". Really!! That is why I brought her here. If I knew we would not have gotten out in the cold and waited for two hrs to be seen! I took my daughter in for a sudden unexplained fever of 102.3. Her pediatricians office was closed on Jan 2nd and did not have a nurse on call until 5pm. That was the only reason we went. I will never use this location again! read more

After years of decent secondary care when I couldn't get into my primary doctor this weekend was miss diagnosed for the flu and given the wrong meds. The office visit and meds with insurance was just shy of $500 was tested for the flu and kidney infection both of which had negative results. And I told the Dr. that I thought I had congestion but Dr. said she couldn't hear anything still prescribed the flu meds. So I went with it, three days later I have a full blown case of bronchitis and pneumonia. I contacted the staff on Wednesday multiple times to get a prescription called in for anabiotic's so I didn't have to did to make another office visit. Needed the meds due to I was going out of town on Thursday. Office help failed to call in prescriptions to two pharmacies. And so now it's Thursday morning I'm on my way out of town with no meds that I needed! After years of thinking this place was go to. I will never use this place again on any level! read more

Really nice experience! You never know what you're going to get when you try a walk-in clinic but you're usually feeling so bad, you can't be picky. We did web checkin for my husband before they even opened and they called us within 10 minutes to let us know he was checked in but the wait time was about 45 minutes. They called back to tell us to come in and the in office wait time was minimal. The staff was all very nice - receptionist, nurse and doctor. We saw Dr. Barbee and he was great - took plenty of time to talk with my husband about his symptoms, possible exposure, etc. Will definitely come back here next time either of us is sick. read more

I am rarely ever sick, so I have never needed an urgent care clinic. I had been suffering with congestion, cough, pressure in my ears & chest for a week & treating myself with over the counter meds. Nothing was working for me. Saturday & Sunday I was feeling miserable & decided I couldn't wait until Monday to see my primary Dr & decided I'd call Care Now in Burleson to see if they were within my insurance companies network & the cost. I completed the web check in on-line & was called back within 10 mins to confirm coverage & that my co-pay was only$35 for urgent care vs my Primary Dr visit of $20. Well, worth $15 extra not to wait another day to be seen by a Dr. They scheduled me an appointment for 2 hours away. I arrived & was quickly checked in. I had to complete several pages of paperwork which is no fun when you feel horrible & your head is full of pressure, but I'm not their regular patient & understand it's a requirement to be seen & so they can file on my insurance. I didn't get a chance to complete it before I was called back into the exam. The nurse who checked me in was friendly & compassionate. I waited just a few mins & Dr William Rigney stepped in to see me. He was friendly, showed compassion & didn't rush through the exam. He treated me as though I'd been he patient for years. I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis & sinusitis. He prescribed 2 meds for me & within 48 hours... I was feeling a lot better. I highly recommend this Care Now location. Clean, professional & caring staff, promptly seen at my assigned web check in time, meds prescribed worked great for me. I hope I continue to stay well & healthy for a long time ... but should I ever need a "Doc in the box"... I will not hesitate a minute & would call Care Now & Dr William Rigney !!! The service provided was top notch. I would rate them a perfect 10 if Yelp would give me a few more stars to add !!! read more

This bad review has nothing to do with the staff and my care, however, the way they handled my bill is ATROCIOUS and will keep me from ever going to a Care Now again! In the Spring, I had a swollen eye and had to take the day off of work. I called CareNow AND my doctor and got prices of what it'd cost to come in for the exact reason I needed to be seen. Care Now was going to be cheaper so I went to them, paid the amount they promised and then got a bill for more! I would NOT have gone here if I'd known the price was relative or NOT going to be what the girl told me it would be. I called CS and asked them to even pull the phone records where the receptionist told me what she told me, but they did not do that, they simply said I had to pay it period. I told them I would not and called again and got an even nicer CS rep who said she was going to escalate it further for review but they STILL said I had to pay it. I was unable to call and tell them again that I was not going to pay it, and then they submitted it to a collection agency and now I am forced to pay it because I do not want my impeccable credit to have anything bad on it. I will absolutely NEVER use a Care Now ever again! It is RIDICULOUS and false advertising for me to do the work ahead of time and get a price to visit and then have that price be whatever they end up wanting it to be! read more

Took my 7 year old to the Burleson CareNow on a Saturday. We did the web check in, they called a few minutes later and were ready for us to head in. Office is very clean. We were seen by Dr Cox she was absolutely amazing! She made my daughter laugh with her jokes and explained everything to her that had to be done. It really made our visit a pleasant one! CareNow saved my life! After suffering from what I thought was a severe case of heartburn, for 2 years, it suddenly became much worse. The pain was non-stop for 3 days. That's when I visited CareNow, who diagnosed my problem and referred me to a hospital emergency room for gallbladder surgery. I love CareNow and prefer them over traditional, "regular" doctors, since you never have to wait very long for an appointment. read more

The online check in is amazing, no waiting there for hours, they just text you when they're ready for you. Dr. Courtright is amazing, my son was terrified when he woke up and it hurt to move his head and neck. He couldn't move without crying. She was gentle and calm and really took the time to make sure her diagnosis was correct. In addition she asked for a second opinion because the diagnosis was rare and especially so in a child. The took care of us and my son was better in a matter of days. Can't say enough good about them. read more

I`m having to see the doctors at carenow in Burleson, because of a injury I suffered on the job. I`ve seen three different doctors at carenow, two of the doctors seem to care about my injury and are trying to do the best they can to help me. The one doctor that doesn`t seem to want to help me, but is trying very hard to disprove the way I suffered my injury is Dr. Courtright. I`ve had an orthopedic surgeon with nearly 30 years of experience conclude that the injury I suffered could and most likely did happened the way I described it to him. I`ve also had a orthopedic pain management doctor of nearly 20 years conclude that the injury I suffered could have happened the way I describe it to him and these were both doctors I was sent to by my job. But, Dr. Courtright tells me she having a hard time believing that the injury I suffered could have happened the way I describe it to her. She came to this conclusion even after she explained to me that she doesn`t have a vast knowledge about this type of injury. Nobody wants to be injured. But when you do suffer a injury, the last thing you want to hear from a doctor that you trust, is that they don`t believe you. I can respect a doctor for telling me, he or she does not have a vast knowledge of a injury and is handling the case over to a more experience doctor. But when a doctor knows their lack of knowledge and still make you out to be a liar, I have no respect for that doctor. read more

I came in with my son on Wednesday 8-10-2016 he had fallen and needed a wheelchair because he had hurt his ankle and could not walk. He is epileptic. I went inside to get the wheelchair and had asked the young lady at the desk if I could use it. I brought my son in and there were two people in the waiting area and so we approached the desk to be seen. IT took about 15 minutes for someone to notice us and I told the young lady what had happened and she asked what insurance he has. Mind you we did not receive any paperwork to fill out either. So I told the young receptionist he has Medicare for the disabled. She went to the back and came out 4 minutes later and said rudely to me that they do not take that insurance and stated maybe Tiger mart would(Exxon). I am like Tiger mart???? Then she corrected herself and said I mean the building behind Exxon would be better or the Burleson ER would see him. I said to her that I have credit cards and will pay that way and she said ...."we only take cash" I said I have been here before and never had a problem. She said nothing just looked me up and down. I work for a huge Hospital and am in the medical field and cannot believe the service there at Care Now and I took my son there because it is closer to our home and I had been there before and had a nice experience at that time. Also no one helped me get my son to my car. Did not even offer. I am very disappointed in Care Now and will never take my business there again. I also know people that are a lot more caring than them. I could be the CEO of a major facility and have you all fired. Word of mouth rings true and shame on you! read more
