I had been at an ER on 10 January for a nose bleed that was over 4 hours in duration. They performed a chemical cauterization. The PA who attended on the 15th, without even a cursory examination said nothing there, probably just the area scabbing up. Use a cotton ball soaked in Afrin if it starts bleeding again. The attached is what came out 2-days later when I blew my nose. Yes, that's a wad of gauze roughly 1.5" in length x .75" in diameter. So much for a thorough examination. Probably should have been concerned when I blew my nose in the waiting room, producing a few tissues covered in blood and asked for a SHARPS container to put the blood soaked tissue into it and all I got was blank looks. How does a building full of medical professionals NOT know what a SHARPS container is? Interesting that this has been posted for 14 days now and not a pip out of anyone from CityDoc. Maybe an attorney out there could provide some guidance...?

So many urgent cares and doctor's offices these days act like patients are wasting their personal time, but this one didn't. Literally every person I talked to had a smile on their face. As someone with major doctor anxiety, this location was very refreshing and accommodating. I will say that it was very hard to find a parking spot with all of the retail stores surrounding it, so be prepared for that. It would be nice if they had designated urgent care parking so patients didn't have to walk across a hot and crowded parking lot with a fever, but you can't have everything. Regardless, this location will now be my go-to for any urgent care issues!

While this is a full emergency room, I felt like I was in a nicely decorated doctor's office. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 1 Star. Service - The staff went above and beyond. I explained my situation, provided my ID and info, and the helped me throughout the process including assisting with paperwork. Each of the nurses on staff were also helpful, treated me with respect, and the whole time I felt very at ease. 1 Star. Facility - This is the most impressive part of Advance ER. It's like a hospital floor, with a nursing station and examination rooms. Also, they can do everything on site, like imaging, blood and urine work, and more. Then....I meet Nurse Adeline! Nurse Adeline explained every piece of equipment and shared the medicines he was being given. She helped shift my Brother up in bed, helped the patient outside his room, and shut the door to ER area C that wasn't closed.... all in about 3-5 minutes. She was friendly, helpful, and observant! I'm happy he is being cared for by her and the other staff I met this morning in his room! Keep doing a great job hiring great people!!
