I made a 12 pm appointment and the person that arrived before me who did not have an appointment went ahead of me. When I asked why , she said because they were ahead of me. So then I asked "so as long as I arrive ahead of someone who has an appointment, then I don't need an appointment, correct? The receptionist was baffled ! So, if you wanna walk in, go ahead, you'll be ahead of someone who actually has a real appointment who wanted to save time. I wouldn't wish the wait times here on my worst enemy. I don't get it, they're not even busy????

Same frustrations as most of the low stars on here. No organization. No process. They sat me in a room after taking my blood pressure and had me wait for almost an hour, after waiting for approximately 40 minutes after my appointment time. I went to the front desk to complain, only to have them say someone would be with me in max 2 minutes. I typed this out after waiting another 10 minutes and decided to leave. Nurses are all sitting in the back as I walk out. Not attending to patients. I simply wanted a steroid shot for a cold that's lasted too long. Concierge doctors are the way to go. I wouldn't come back here for something small or if my life depended on it. read more

Long wait times (two hours AFTER ) the states appt. Scheduling an appt seems to make little difference. I consistently have this issue with this facility. Have not experienced this long wait times at the Care now facility in Lakewood When you finally see a provider they are pleasant and Knowledgable. This visit was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I came in for care and instead overheard staff discussing my condition loudly and incorrectly from behind the desk. They referenced it in a way that made it clear they were talking about me, and did so casually enough that anyone in the waiting room could hear. Beyond being embarrassing, this is a violation of basic patient privacy and respect. If staff aren't able to communicate privately about a patient's medical issue -- especially something as personal as a cyst -- then there is a serious problem with training and professionalism. Patients deserve confidentiality and competent care. I hope management addresses this with their team so others don't have the same experience. read more

Wouldn't recommend. I went out of convenience but really wasn't worth it. Paid $190 (with insurance) to get to see the doc for less than 5 mins and get prescribed medication that I can buy OTC. I didn't feel like they actually cared about my situation and were just trying to get me off their "to do list" . I would understand the care quality more if I was a walk in but I had made an appointment and showed up early. The place was gloomy, unnervingly quiet and looks ran down. I am a sick patient, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early, plenty of time to fill out forms. Twenty minutes into my wait, I was asked to fill out my forms. Why didn't they ask me to do that upon check in? They were not accommodating to a very sick patient. read more

I would not recommend them for ANYTHING based on my recent experience there and the lack of good advice for my situation. I won't go into personal details but I learned more from coworkers two days after the fact who had dealt with the issue I ended up having and which was not caught by Primacare /NextCare whatever they are currently called. The advice, or horrible lack thereof is in retrospect appalling to me. I would drive right on by to somewhere else preferably your own doctor. I will never go back here that's for sure and regret going. For perspective I have been to this location many times throughout the years and in the past had gotten good treatments. Slow is the only way to describe the staff at this location. They spend a lot of time engaged in personal conversations vs. managing patients. It does not matter if you have an appt or if no one is waiting in front of you. I waited 45 min. Highly suggest going somewhere else for medical treatment. made the mistake on booking at this clinic for my sons injury instead of our usual because it was a bit closer mind you I booked since early in the morning had my apt at 6:20 arrived 20 min before for the receptionist to be rude and telling me we couldn't be seen because they did not have the equipment I told her I still wanted my son to be seen just to confirm and on dctr advice if I had to take him to a hospital She was no help and she just said no we couldn't if it was the case why not call me all day to cancel my aptm and let me know we wouldn't be able to be seen why let me show up, I drove 40 min in traffic smh never again rather go to my usual place in Richardson .if I could I would give 0 stars do better read more

Their appointment is also at 11.... Ok so what's the appointment actually for then??? The quality of care here has fallen off. It was once Primacare and even then you could see the signs on the wall that they weren't doing well probably due to horrible customer service. They won't even sign you in traditionally they expect you to use the app. The staff is very rude. Horrible bedside manner. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

I have been to this location several times when it was called Prima Care. My visit tonight is the only time I've been dissatisfied. The initial wait time was not too bad, but once taken to a room the wait was very long. There were no other patients that I could see and only 2 cars in the parking lot. After the doctor finally saw me there was another lengthy wait. Most disappointing was the way they treated patients. Maybe they all had a long shift. But they could not have been more distant and impersonal. They were nearly robotic at every interaction. Maybe I caught them on a bad night. The only thing worse is their answering service. When I called to see if there would be a long wait I was told they didn't know. I then asked if I could make an appointment and was told they don't take appointments. However the first question the person at the front desk asked me was "Do you have an appointment?" Go figure! read more

I made an appointment for 11:30am but did not see the provider until 2pm. The staff was very apologetic and understanding about the wait time. The provider was kind and helpful, but the issue I have is with the wait time. The lobby quickly filled up with other sick people. If you have an appointment time here, please know that it won't mean anything. Also, this is my second visit here in a week. DR Silva and Dr Sylvan always knows how to cure my kids and get them well again. We all love Nextcare. Keep doing what your doing and we will keep coming back. We love all the staff. Been coming to this location for 20 years. Previously was primacare. Made a reservation and still waited an hour. Inside was dirty. They were incredibly slow. Not sure how many doctors there were. Finally got called up to pay and they wanted $190 (online they accept my insurance). Was so irritated so decided to pay anyway. Cc machine wasn't working. So I left. Again, NextCare/Mockingbird was there when I needed help. Called and booked a late afternoon appointment same day. Yes, I still had to wait a bit; but what else is new? First came Nurse Michell always lifts spirits with her friendly efficiency and professionalism. Then, S. Tientcheu, FNP, checked me out further and came up with a game plan that soon had me feeling better. Conclusion: this place is my go-to every time for 15-18 yrs by now. Waited an hour after my scheduled appointment(12pm) to be escorted to the exam room.(1pm) I had Arrived early and no mention was made of pending delays in being seen. At 30 minutes past my appointment time, I Watched 3 walk ins and a person with a later appointment time be served. After in the room, with vitals taken ,I was left an additional 20 minutes waiting for the doctor. At an hour and 25 minutes after my appointment time, I got up to leave. I asked for contact info for another Next Care urgent care location but was stopped at the front desk and at 13:45 finally was treated for a 12:00 appointment. Spoke with clinic manager at 2:00pm via phone. I relayed my concerns and was told that it was uneconomical to bring another doctor in as they only had 3 rooms. I suggested that they should not offer appointments at 20 minute intervals when they were 2 hours behind and that the next person seen should be the person with an appointment not the walk in. My suggestion was acknowledged but I was told that they were unable to act on them. Poor customer service, poor communication, dismissive responses all add up to a rating of 1 out of 10. My primary care doctor in BAYLOR WHITE SCOTT system directed me to them. expected more from a BSW co-owned clinic. Last visit here. I will drive past to go to any other BSW affiliate. read more

I had a 10:10 appointment, and checked in 15 minutes prior to my appointment time with only 2 people in front of me, and an hour and 40 minutes later, they finally come in to to give me a Covid/Flu test. My husband went in with very sharp pain in his eye. The Doc on duty checked it , put some sort of liquid in it and used a lamp to see if there was anything there. Said he could not see any damage. Suggested allergy drops . This did not help; Results - middle of the night , costly, trip to emergency room where the Dr proceeded to do exactly the same thing and saw the abrasion on the cornea that the Primacare/Nexcare Dr missed. Went to the doctor first thing Sunday morning with a high fever. They took me in and immediately tested me for Covid and Flu. Tested positive for Type A Flu. Gave me a prescription for Tamiflu and I was on my way. Very fast 30 minute appointment. Dr. Silva was the doctor on call and was extremely helpful. read more

We were THAT patient, tonight. We had an urgent care need at 15 minutes before closing time ON A HOLIDAY FRIDAY NIGHT. My wife got a shard of glass lodged in her heel that we were not going to be able to get out at home. This PrimaCare facility admitted us, and gave us care above and beyond the call. I will name Nurse Michelle (correct title?) and Dr. Miller as our angels of mercy, tonight. They stayed for two-and-a-half hours past the closing time to ensure our night ended well. Three X-rays, two attempts at removal, and four stitches later my sweet wife was riding home. It didn't matter to these professionals what time or day it was. We knew they were exhausted, and they still treated us like the most important people in the world at that point in time. Thank you Michelle, Dr. Miller, and PrimaCare! read more

Great experience! Called around looking for an urgent care that could xray my injured ankle. NextCare was nearby and offered xrays. Check-in was easy and fast. After a short wait, I was called back for xrays by Michell (who even stayed past her shift to ensure me and another patient could be xrayed--WOW). She was so warm and made sure I was comfortable for the entire process, even adjusting the crutches that I brought in and teaching me how to properly use them. Dr. Silva got my ankle wrapped and provided thorough instructions on how to care for my sprain. Overall great experience with a really warm staff. This will be my urgent care choice from now on. read more

If you need a doctor I was in there and the doctor or the assistant doctor as I call him had the laziest personality got kind of snippy with me when I didn't feel like asking him questions or giving him answers to any of them because I didn't feel good, he sad. I had pneumonia which I did not have. I did not have the flu nor Covid and that he did not know what I had. He said I needed to go to the hospital but I needed that would BS. this is the only place you go. If you have a cold or you need just a simple Band-Aid.
