No idea what they are doing over there. Had my results for 2 days and never contacted me. Told me I would receive an email to get my results, that never happened. When I called to get an update a doctor VERY RUDELY told me that my results were positive and told me to go to a hospital if I got any worse. Nothing else. By the way, web check in doesn't really work. They will still have you waiting in the lobby. read more

After calling three times for an EKG and I completed paperwork online they tell me they don't do EKG for pre surgery. They told me they do EKG's. Total waste of my time. I manage a professional medical practice and we fully inform patients and don't give out incorrect information over the phone. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a company as I am with the Care Now off Knox in Dallas. I went in with a complaint about my foot and a description that someone had stepped on it a couple of weeks prior. They took an X-ray and said no breaks were showing. Instead they said I had gout for which I had had no previous issue. Nevertheless they prescribed medication and drew blood to confirm. The blood work ultimately came back negative yet they never called me to tell me not to take the medication they had prescribed. Two weeks later my podiatrist found I had a break in my foot which typically takes 2-3 weeks to show up on an X-ray. Now Care Now wants me to pay another $31 for charges they say I owe after my insurance has paid several hundred dollars for bills Care Now submitted to my insurance company. They say they are investigating but I should pay the additional $31. I will never use them again and suggest whoever reads this should also be aware of these horrific practices. read more

I went to get a drug test and literally waited for hrs to take it. I over heard the lady at the front desk on the phone telling them that the lab tech that does the drug test wasn't even in. I heard her tell them this after hrs of waiting and she didn't say nothing to me at all. I will not come to this place EVER again read more

They make us wait. Did web check-in at 3:30 PM. They called within 15 minutes of Web check-in. Then we waited for TWO HOURS at the clinic. Saw a nurse at 5:30 PM. Finally saw a doctor at 6:15 PM. We left the clinic at 7 PM. Nurses and the doctor were nice, though. And they have X-ray. I don't know any other urgent care to compare. I just don't want to go back there and waste my time waiting. read more

I was seen by Dr. M. Cuadros and she was very knowledgeable in her diagnoses. One of my ailments was a burning pain in my stomach, she diagnosed my illness and sent me to a referral to get further treatment. She did more then my primary care doctor did. She had a very good bed side manner. read more

They failed to call in critical prescriptions and by the time I got to the pharmacy, CareNow had already closed for the evening so I was stuck without the prescriptions. Now it's the next morning and the pharmacy still doesn't have anything. The receptionist at CareNow couldn't give an ETA on when they'd be called in and said it could just be done in between seeing patients. They were not apologetic and the nurse who saw me last night was rude. There are much better urgent care companies in Dallas. read more

I took my pregnant fiance here with chest pains on her left side that stretched up into her neck as a lump in her throat, and coughing led to sharp pains in the ovary area of her body. Mind you, she's also 12 weeks pregnant, which every member of the staff that assisted us was informed of. The PA asked for consent to do an EKG which we agreed to, but when the doctor finally saw us over an hour later, he said it was simply a sensation that some people get and sent us home $50 poorer. They did absolutely nothing to help her pain or even tell her what might've caused it and made us feel absolutely unimportant. If you have any kind of issue that you need immediate care for DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO HERE. I would've rather taken her to the ER and deal with that bill than go here and waste my time. 0 stars if it were possible. Oh also the entire facility looked FILTHY, even if it weren't a global pandemic the cleanliness would've been sub-par AT BEST. Disgrace to a medical profession. read more

Ahh, the flu! Well, CareNow was great. Great location and especially great staff. Use the web checkin in you can. I saw a nurse and I didn't catch her name. "Dr. A" came in, checked me out, and popped back in a few minutes later and let me know I had Flu Type A. Reasonable pricing, and very fast service (especially with Web checkin). I will be back here - my normal MD didn't have anything open today and CareNow got me right in. read more

Working in healthcare I know how the system works and it is hard to understand for people who don't work in healthcare. The team at this facility are very efficient. Online check in is the way to go! I really loved the online check in. So convenient and comfortable when you are not feeling well. The staff was extremely professional and compassionate. Dr. Trombley was fantastic - she quickly diagnosed me (shingles - ouch) after a very thorough examination, prescribed medications and got me quickly on the mend. I will absolutely use them again. More convenient and patient centered than anything I've ever experienced in urgent care. read more

Care "Not"!!! I typically have to pay half the fee when I arrive. These people are not shy about asking for their pay! Fine, I understand, but be careful when you pay keep your receipts! I paid half of what was due and then I received a bill for the other half. In the mean time my insurance paid 20% of the fee. So, I get a bill for the other half of the amount due. I call Kelly, from Care Not Corporate office and she proceeds to tell me that I still owe the other half. Mean while they have billed me again for a different amount. Long story short be careful when paying "Care Not" because they do not care when it comes to billing! You will get doubled billed and end up paying too much money and believe me they do NOT CARE!!! Dealing with their corporate office is dealing with a Manager at McDonald's! read more

Unless you literally have ALL DAY to sit and wait to be seen, I highly suggest not coming here. I did an online check in at 9am to arrive after 11am. I arrived at 11:10am and was told it'd be another 2 hours. I left and was told they'd call me. They called 2.5 hr later saying they were ready for me so I got back there in 10 minutes. I then sat for another 30 and was told it'd be another 30+. This place is an absolute joke and no one seemed to care one way or another. Horrible way to run a business. read more

Did web check in for this location before they even opened, got a call about 8 that said an hour and a half, so show up after said hour and a half, wait 30 more minutes to get called back, and currently still waiting to see doctor after another hour. Thanks for taking the urgent out of urgent care. Nurse not very friendly either but could really care less about that just want to see doc, get meds and feel better, maybe at some point???? read more

Dr Cuadros was so kind and professional. Very understanding and compassionate. The MA who took us back to the room was very short and seemed very agitated and annoyed. It was roughly 730pm on 1/30/20. Very poor customer care from her. Very short while speaking, and did not seem interested in being there or dealing with people. She Never once had a smile on her face. And did not greet us properly. In the 40 min we waited in the room there was no update or checking in saying "she will be with you next, or "we did not forget about you". Very displeasing knowing I as well work with patients on a day to day basis and strive for 5 star service. When testing for the flu she said "I'm going to test you for the flu and placed the swap up his nose" and did not explain what she was doing or how she was going to proceed. I really hope this is addressed. Again, the dr was so kind and helpful and would recommend anyone to see her personally. read more

I came in as a walk-in, did not do mobile check it. There was a wait of about an hour and a half. It took less than 3 minutes for to verify my insurance, which is greatly appreciated. I received a phone call from the front desk when my room was ready. I was seen by a nurse promptly to get a history and vitals. After that I waited in the room for about 10 mins before the PA came in. I forgot her name, but she's the one the other reviews refer to, she was nice, easy to talk to and not in a rush. Overall the facility is good, I would go here if I had an urgent need and couldn't get into my doctor's office. read more

Well, again, I guess I need to give credit where credit is due. I went here for what I thought were cold/allergy symptoms thinking I had a upper respiratory infection and then back because I had an allergic reaction to one of the meds that they gave me. I wound up going back again and they realized that I had a pain in my lower right abdomen. After doing additional blood work, they were panicked and sent me to the ER. I headed to Presby Plano because I knew they were on my insurance plan. If it weren't for the tests they ran and then sending me to the ER, they might not have determined that my gall bladder needed to be removed. Again, I'd probably go again in a pinch. read more

It was my first time going to this type of place. It was super easy with the web check in. The lady called to inform me of my copay. Then called to tell me when my room was ready. The front desk attendant was great. The nurse was wonderful. The doctor was awesome! The doctor was very through and had great professional bedside manner. I felt like I got all the attention and time I needed and I want being rushed out the door. Payment on the way out was easy and she was very friendly and professional too. I will be using them again for when I get sick because it was so much more easy and closer than my regular doctor. read more

Great experience. Online check in and ability to wait at home is so convenient. Got an appointment 2 hours after I said I wanted to come in. Was in the door, seen by an MD, and out the door with prescription papers in hand in half an hour. Would highly recommend in a pinch like mine! read more

Care Now is such a blessing to our neighborhood. The web check-in, extended hours, and school physicals are so helpful and convenient. But the people are what keep us coming back. The staff at the desk, the nurses, the PA's, and the physicians are so courteous and knowledgable that it truly doesn't matter to me which one we see on any given visit. They try their best to be thorough, and their explanations help me understand the diagnosis and recommended course of treatment. They try their best to work quickly and efficiently so people don't have to wait so long. I have never seen a staff work so hard or walk so fast. I appreciate this neighborhood gift of Care Now. Wait time is horrible and they constantly took people back before us that just walked in. We waited 2 hours the very first visit. Had no idea of being able to check-in prior to our 2nd follow-up visit there after asking why people were being brought in before us even though we were the first ones in the door. Web check in is the best!! I love CareNow versus a normal family doctor's office for the simple fact, I can check in online & stay wherever I am until the doctor is ready to see me. I was feeling like crap, checked in online, the clinic contacted me to verify my information and told me there was a 3 - 3 1/2 hour wait...ugh!! After waiting 3 hours, I actually called them and they informed me I was on the next list of patients to call, but wait about 5-10 minutes and go ahead and head to the clinic. I did, got there like 15 minutes after 6pm, signed in....sat down maybe 10 minutes and they called me back. I was in and out within an hour....was told had flu...but oh well!!! If it's nothing too major, I'd rather come here than my regular doctor. Great service & staff!! read more

Left work in excruciating pain from abscess, just wanted antibiotic to heal it and make it go away. Did web check in at 2:00PM went home to rest. 2:15 received phone call to verify check in and insurance and was told the wait was 2 hours and they would call. After 4 hours I called back. They said it would be another 30 minutes, so I started getting ready to go. At 6:30PM, checked in at desk, was told they'd call me soon. After waiting in the lobby with flu patients and crying baby for 2 MORE HOURS, I was called into the room. This is absolutely ridiculous. And the lobby was practically empty. Some people came in after me and were called back. What time did they web check in, 5:00AM? I'm a nurse so I know the triage process and that the sickest go first. This was not the case. After waiting 6 HOURS to be seen, 2 of those physically in their waiting room, NO ONE apologized to me for the delay. read more

*Note: this review was drafted on 5/13/2012* I had an excellent experience at Care Now today. I used web check in at 8:55 AM and received a call shortly thereafter to confirm my info. At that time, I was told to expect a call back in 30-45 minutes to come in. At 9:35, I received the call and arrived at 9:50. I signed a couple of forms and was called right back to an exam room. Then, in less than an hour, I was examined, diagnosed (including waiting on lab results), treated, and was on my way back home. I would come back in a heart beat, if need be. read more

My visit to the clinic was over a week ago. I checked in online and they called to tell me there was a 2 hour wait. I called back around hour 3 to see if there was a room ready for me and got the response of "oh um yeah I don't know let me check" she then comes back to say "I'm sorry it'll be another 30-45 minutes" I get there and wait another 15-20 minutes to see the PA. Once I finally go back, I'm with Dr. Clara, she's very nice and professional. She sent my labs off and told me to call back within 5 days to get the results and a follow up. I called yesterday to do so. The receptionist told me a nurse needed to handle that and transferred my call. She gets back on to say that the nurse is busy and to leave a message. I did that basically went over how I am still experiencing the symptoms and need a new prescription. I have yet to hear back. read more

This was my first visit to a CareNow and I can definitely say, I will be back!! The lady at the front desk did not smile or show really any care about the patients, but Elliot, who took me to my room, was beyond nice! He took my vitals and then Dr. Clara came in. Dr. Clara is the sweetest and most delicate doctor! She really cared for me and my needs and answered all of my questions. Afterwards there was a nurse who came in to give me my shots- she wasn't as careful or calming as Dr. Clara, but she was sweet. I will be back to this CareNow! read more

I went to CareNow with an ear problem. I was impressed by the friendliness and curtesy of the entire staff. When you are in pain or uncomfortable, a smile and understanding goes a long way. Even though I did not use the mobile check-in, my waiting time was less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend Care Now on Preston Road. read more

Dallas city uses their services for new hire physical. The wait time is unrealistic! The office is understaffed. Have only one doctor and one nurse on duty; at least when I was there. The doctor requested additional information from my physician. They couldn't find the fax. Seems to be a little disorganized... I had to bring an original papers. Does the job if you don't have a PCP or you find yourself in need of a doctor on the weekend. I came in on Sunday as was seen fairly quickly, only because I did Web Check In. A word of advice, ALWAYS complete the web check in otherwise you could be there for hours waiting to see the doctor. The staff is always very friendly, helpful, and professional. read more

I have to say-- the people who staff this clinic are rockstars! I work at a hospital and after sitting in the ER for 6hrs, I decided to get an appointment here through their online portal for the first available appointment the next day. About 45min before the clinic opened I got a confirmation call and was encouraged to get there as soon as I could. By the time I got there, there was one emergency (a chef had cut his thumb nearly off) that was seen before me. Even short staffed, they saw me, counseled and prescribed for me and had me on my way in under 45 minutes! I'm going back today for a different issue. Wait time was crazy, was there for 2 hours! But that's of course because I asked for the doctor. If you're comfortable with the nurse or pa for whatever condition you're going in for, you of course won't have to wait as long.
