If you want to not only waste your time and money but have to make an extra trip to get them to send the Rx to the right pharmacy, this is where you want to go. I'm ill enough to go to urgent care on a Sunday, registered online. The MA asked me all the same questions I already registered including verifying the pharmacy. I told her that was not the right one that I entered the right one I registration. $230 for a 40 minute wait and a 3-minute evaluation by a PA only to have my Rx sent to the wrong pharmacy. Waited on hold for 25 minutes before having to drive back up there where the MA proceeded to argue with me about which pharmacy I entered, then found the right one, and said it will be sent to the right pharmacy later today. No thanks. I'll wait until it's done before I leave so I don't have to drive back up here. COMPLETE waste of time and money. I should have just waited another 18 hours to see a competent medical staff. read more

Their billing on my credit card was different than the amount they told me it would cost when I finished my appointment. As all healthcare is getting more difficult to manage I'd like to recommend the NextCare Urgent Care facility at Coit & Beltline...directly behind Walgreen's Pharmacy. Because of an overload at my primary care office I was unable to get help so thankfully I was able to get help at NextCare The office staff , Nikki and Gladys were very friendly and efficient and I can't say enough positive about the PA Mike who took care of my medical needs in a professional and friendly manner... Made appt for CoVid test as I had recently tested positively at this location. Made the appointment 3 days prior and arrived 10 minutes early, per their request. Checked in at front desk and told to wait in the car. After 45 minutes I had no check-in confirmation or communication so I tried calling the clinic. No one answered after 4 tries, so I went in. Front desk person said she would "back me and reregister me. It was a glitch in the system". During my wait they took every single walk in and it was an hour after my appointment time when I was told to come inside. Stood at the door for over 5 minutes waiting to be taken back to a room. The only glitch in the system is the incompetent staff.at the front desk. Others checked in and left as well. Today I came in to PrimaCare Medical Center due to having COVID-19 symptoms. The receptionist Veronica made sure we received accurate information and where taken care of in a timely manner. Veronica was super friendly and made the experience a lot better for someone coming in with COVID-19 concerns. Amy tran, pa Chrissy and Angela additionally made sure we where taken care off. I made an appointment for 4:20. I come in at that time, no one is at the desk or even knows I've walked in. I come to find out the nurse to check me in went to Walmart and they don't know when she will return... 20 minutes later and the nurse returns and finally checks me in. Another 25 minutes go by, and I am finally helped by a nurse. 5:15 and I finally see the doctor. Oh, and I am the only patient here. No one has been here the whole time. read more

Visited NextCare Urgent Care on Beltline Rd in Dallas, TX last Friday night, June 3, 2022 with respiratory problems. I was able to book my appointment as well as update my records online. I walked right in with only a few minutes wait. Everyone from the front office, the nurse and Dr Imani Crosby provided outstanding service! I was sent to the Plano Rd location for a chest x-ray at around 7:30pm. Everything went well there and by 8:20pm I was headed home with my prescriptions. Had an x-ray done on a very painful foot. I was told no break, and sent home with no bandage or anything. Only instructions were see your regular Dr in a week if it still hurts. Next day I could not stand the pain and made an emergency appointment with a podiatrist, who diagnosed a stress fracture by looking at my swollen and discolored foot. I sent my son there (I live out of town) and they did nothing but refer him to an Emergency Room for an ultrasound. (You don't need a referral to go to an emergency room!) They did not diagnose the problem or do anything for him. It was not an emergency. I don't know how they will get paid by insurance for doing nothing. The receptionist has been rude to everyone who walks in or calls...trust me I've been listening for the last 45 mins. We came here because the online wait time said no one was here. When we got here about 5 mins later every seat in the waiting room was full. In the past 45 mins only one patient has been seen. As people come in sit down or change chairs or move about the room there is zero sanitation. Even restaurants do better than that - they sanitize after each person. There was zero sanitation happening and there was no hand sanitizer available. We were asked to pay before being seen, when we questioned this we were rudely told that there were still multiple people in front of us. I felt that the receptionist was implying it would be best if we left since we never asked about a wait time or how many people were in front of us. What we asked is why we were being asked to pay before service when none of the other 5-10 people who had been in and out over the last 45 mins had been asked to pay before they were seen. The receptionist wouldn't answer questions about pricing for people mingling in the waiting room who would have left if she would have just answered the questions. They were easy questions too, all she needed to do was look at the out of pocket price for an X-ray. Instead she acted like she couldn't understand the man due to his accent so he just sat down in the lobby dejected. 15 mins later he asked for an update and she was surprised he was still there but she still couldn't be bothered to check the pricing and instead yelled at his wife on the phone stating he had left and to quit calling the same place asking the same questions to call somewhere else. The man was still sitting in the lobby and had not been helped when I left. We never were seen because they had 10 people in a waiting room with no sanitation available and a horrible front desk staff who openly talked sh*t about the people calling on the phones or sitting in the lobby (WITH THE GLASS PARTITION OPEN). It's Flu season and I was surprised how fast we were seen. The first moment we arrived we were greeted by Liz in the front office, she was very informative and really compassionate. Then I think her name was whitney who took are blood pressure and asked questions. She was so cheerful and sweet we forgot we were their because we felt horrible. She explained if my husband had the flu, It wasn't a good idea to get a flu shot today. So, we were refunded for the flu shot and we will be back. Dr .Duong was very thorough and quick. I was in and out in 45 minutes which isn't bad. However, I made an appointment online and was the first one at 8 am, I wasn't seen until 8:30. If you start out that late to start the day, I am sure it gets slower from there. Everyone was nice and professional. It's not cheap, but no urgent care is. Used the online app to book an appointment that is supposed to get you seen faster over walk-in patients... not the case! Had to wait over an hour and still didn't get to see a doctor so we left since my toddler has been crying uncontrollably for 45 mins. What's even worse is the app alerts you where you're next in line and you ask about it then then the nurse calls back other patients and doesn't follow the order. I visited PrimaCare North Dallas (7910 Belt Line Rd) on September 9, 2020, with diverticulitis. Three days later they called me to inform me that my Covid test came back negative. Problem is, they did NOT do a Covid test on me. I wore a face mask the entire time and never removed it while I was at PrimaCare. There is absolutely, positively no way they swabbed my mouth or nose. After much discussion with PrimaCare PAs and medical director, they refused to admit that they made a mistake. Aside from this, there were several other incompetencies. read more

My husband was up all night with awful stomach aches. We called PrimaCare at 8:15am on Easter Sunday for a call ahead. The current wait time was 45mins. We checked-in at 8:40am after we received the courtesy 15 min. ahead call. My husband finally got called in to see the doctor at 9:22am. Not sure why call ahead exists if the wait time in the lobby is still nearly 45 mins. He was in a lot of pain - we chose PrimaCare over CareNow due to the waiting reviews but that backfired. We finally checked out at 10:50am. The good news is, we only paid $25 copay for the visit. The bad news, besides the wait, is that I had to go back for the doctor's note they never gave my husband and the meds they prescribed, which no local pharmacy had on hand until tomorrow afternoon, so I had to get another one. read more

5:48PM on Friday night 11/22. I came in and told the receptionist that I had went to CVS Minute Clinic. The nurse at the clinic could not treat or perform finger drainage only prescribe an antibiotic and recommend I go to UC near by. I show up at Prima Care and the nurse tells me the Doctor cannot see me because I was already treated by a physician and prescribed medication. WHAAT? The CVS person was a nurse practitioner. They said they would be liable since I have already been treated. WHAAT? Are you kidding me? I felt like they were screening who to treat what to treat as they choose. The nurse told me that the antibiotics should do the trick. I was clearly told at CVS that antibiotic could not resolve the puss build up and fluid. She also mentioned that it needed drainage and treatment before Monday. The fluid build up would progress worst. Come back SUNDAY?? I work 7 days a week as a caregiver. I went to CARENOW and they said they had not heard of this??!!!!! read more

The information they provided to my insurance company did not include that I had paid. Now I'm having to jump through hoops to get my money back. First off, I'm not one for going to the Dr. If I don't absolutely have to but my throat was killing me and I couldn't take it anymore. I arrived as scheduled and wasn't in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. You are almost NEVER seen on time but these guys were moving with some pep in thier step! I had my check up, saw the Dr., and had a prescription for some antibiotics within half an hour. The nurse who helped me (I think her name was Valerie?) I took my daughter up to Primacare this morning because she had hurt herself at basketball practice last night. I was not sure if they would be able to help me or not but they were very kind and caring and upfront with me from the very beginning does that they actually may not be able to help because my daughter's nose could potentially be broken and that's not something they necessarily diagnose there. They did to x-rays and recommended that I see an orthopedist if the swelling and the facial structure did not look the same. I have been to this PrimaCare on many occasions and I'm always satisfied with the service that I get. It's typically pretty quick getting in and getting out which is definitely a plus. read more
