I was here two days in a row for a migraine. The first day I was seen for a severe migraine. This is only the second time I have experienced anything like this, and the last time I ended up in the ER. I wanted to avoid a costly ER visit and get rid of the migraine as soon as possible. They were fairly nice, prescribed three medications, and sent me home (and asked me to return tomorrow). However, when I got home and took the medications they gave me, I had severe adverse reactions to the Tylenol #3. I was in severe stomach pain, threw everything up, and my migraine obviously got worse. I called them back and they gave me a new medicine, Bupap. I returned the next day and they gave me a shot of Phenergan (among other things) as well as a prescription for Phenergan pills. BUPAP AND PHENERGAN INTERACT. This is the third time that care now has given me a medication that has an interaction. They tried calling the next day, but I kept missing them because I was at work, driving home, or passing out. They didn't leave a message with any information except to "call them back." I finally got a hold of them the next day (day 3 dealing with the migraine and Care Now) and this is when they told me about the interaction. I cannot take off more work to deal with side effects that are THE DOCTORS FAULT. I rarely write bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. I feel extremely disrespected and betrayed. My entire experience was a joke, and definitely not taken seriously by the staff. I would have rather payed another ER bill. read more

If you check in online, the wait is a breeze and on days when my regular doctor is closed (days I actually have off from work) it's nice to have the option to go here and get diagnosed and on my way to better health. Today's diagnosis was bronchitis. Their friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was on my way to getting rid of my illness in no time. Here twice in one week for sickness. Web checking technology sucks as I have to complete everything over again. Had issues the second time from differences between website and mobile site. No support phone on weekend. Gave up and downloaded mobile but had other issues and couldn't tell if checkin went through. While trying to unravel, office called that they did receive. Kudos that after i got here and completed paperwork, was less than 10m to see a Dr. Both physicians at different invested time explaining to me what they suspected, options and impact of alternative treatment paths. I really liked how the both asked and gave more details on what they were doing and why. read more

Awesome, well priced, super nice staff. $36 for a high school sports physical w/o insurance. Heck yeah. I was unfamiliar with CareNow so I knew nothing of their online check in, but awesome that that's an option. When we checked in at the desk I was informed it would be about an hour and a half, they took my cell phone number and said they'd call when a room opened up for my nephew. About 45min later while enjoying some Double Dave's just down the parking lot, we got a phone call that they were ready for him. Super nice that they did that, sure beats waiting in the lobby. Staff was way nice. I'd definitely go back to CareNow for myself and for my nephews. Nice option for those without insurance. read more

The employees were incredibly rude when I checked in. They put me in a room and made me wait an hour when there was no one else there. Not one person in the lobby and only 4 cars in the parking lot. The exam room was dirty as the paper on the table was clearly used. It was wrinkled with a butt print on it. The nurse actually told me to sit on a dirty exam table. The doctor that finally came in spent 5 minutes with me only to shrug her shoulders and say I don't know and then offered me a dangerous prescription which I said no to. So she offered another one that, upon researching at home, is in the same family as the one I turned down and has the same dangerous side effects. Don't waste your time with this place. I hear the place down the road on the corner of GT and 377 is much better than this place. Waste of time, money and an entire personal day off work to wait to even receive a phone call only to be told two more hours. Btw- the shortage of nurses and doctors across the nation is due to them quitting because they refused to be injected with experimental gene therapy to keep their jobs. I have many friends in the medical field, and all of the ones that have quit were for this reason and this reason only. read more

The nurses and doctors are very nice. I did web check in at 10am, I was told they were 2 hours behind. At 1pm I was called and asked to drive to the clinic; a room would be available by 1:30pm. I didn't get into a room until 2:05pm. The nurse took my history. It is now 2:30pm, still haven't seen a doctor. Note to self: next time suffer for two more days and take the first available at the primary care provider. read more

I had a completely horrible experience with Dr. Rasha Yacoub (NPI# 1932512183, PAC ID# 4284932997) and the Care Now facility in Keller, TX (HW 377 location). I have been going to this facility for a TB test for 10+ years and because I work in hospitals, I am required to get the TB test read by an RN or MD. I have never had a problem having a MD read my test in the past. Today, Dr. Yacoub refused to read my TB (it would take less than a minute to read). I learned that it is the physician's choice to do so. There were no other patients at the facility, and I could see Dr. Yacoub walking around in the back. I have never had any type of physician (from CV surgeons to Interventional Cardiologists, etc.) refuse to help a patient, but apparently Dr. Yacoub thinks so much of herself that reading a TB test is beneath her. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional as a physician. Then, when I asked the person at the front desk what I needed to do to have the physician read my TB test she originally said I would have to schedule an office visit and be charged. When I realized that Dr. Yacoub was not going to read it, I asked the front desk person to schedule me an office visit. After this request, the front desk person said that that Dr. Yacoub would not see me even as a paid office visit to read my TB test. Dr. Yacoub is a complete embarrassment to the physician community. Physicians that have gone on the lengthy residence and fellowship program are always willing to help any patient, but not Dr. Yacoub. I would strongly recommend that no one waste their time with Dr. Yacoub and Care Now in Keller (702 S. Main - Keller, TX location). There is way too many good health care clinics and physicians available and no one should waste their time with Dr. Yacoub. read more

Went to this horrible Urgent Care because I had body aches and they tested me for everything except the flu which I told them that's what I think it is. When I tell you that this place is manipulative and a hell hole it very much is, I recommend that no one goes any where near this place you will be disappointed by the horrible prices mixed with the horrible customer service. The workers here show absolutely no respect especially the doctors, the doctors are horrible money driven people, grade A douche bags that like to make money by manipulating you into thinking that you are horribly sick when you are not. Brought my son in on Jan 15. Used home check in. Arrived with only a 5 minute wait in the lobby. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was we waited so long to get the results for the flu test. Doctor was attentive and the person that checked us out offered a list of after hours pharmacies in the area. This is a great clinic with awesome staff. I've unfortunately had to go two times, but both times have been a breeze. You'll want to do web check in. Tip: If it's the weekday and after 9pm you can web check in for the next morning. That way you're first in. But of course you can just walk in as well. My wait's were around 5-10min while the walk ins were quoted 30-60min. I found the doctor very nice and listened to my concerns. She described what was wrong, what they would do about it and how to feel better. No one likes to be sick/injured but at least you can go somewhere that you can trust. read more

I had a DOT physical over 45 days ago and I was told that I needed to have a 30 day download for CPAP. I was just informed that since it's been more than 45 days they need a new physical. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here for DOT physicals. read more

Have used this location in the past but wow, has this place gone downhill! Took my college age daughter in and the following are some of the comments the girl at the front desk made as I was sitting in the big waiting area: I'm so hungry. What do y'all want to eat? Web check ins used to be fun but now there's too much to do. I can't believe how late I had to stay last night. I'm so ready to go. I started looking around and there was another lady who exchanged looks with me showing how uncomfortable it was hearing her complain so loudly. The other ladies at the front desk just seemed to ignore her until she left. We were supposed to receive a follow up call to see how she was doing but it never came. We called back to report she wasn't doing better and they said a doctor would look at it and get back to us. It was 8:30 that evening and still no call. So I called AGAIN and she said she would look for a note and then told us to either come back in or go to the emergency room. Absolute worst experience ever!! Went in Tuesday at lunch. Instead of giving me steroid shot and prescription for antibiotics, in case it got worse, they have me steroid pills to take for 5 days and no antibiotics. I get this often and they always prescribe me the same thing...not this time. Also she wanted to give me cough syrup. I told her I like Tussinex. She gave me Robitussun, which makes me gag! Didn't know it until I took it that night...and threw up. Next day I call at 10:00am to get correct cough syrup and ask for antibiotics. On hold for 15 min then told no one here to help you I leave a message, which goes into the "que". Was told to call back at 1:00, guess what have to leave another message in the que. Meanwhile I have taken another day off of work bc I feel horrible and I would really like to get the correct meds. Same day call again at 4:00, you guessed it..leave a message in the que. I never hear a word back so I call again at 7:00. This time I think a nurse speaks with me says you need cough medicine? Went thru thru whole thing again. "Well I can get you the cough medicine but not antibiotics. Dr will have to call you back. Never heard from Dr. Mind you I have left detailed messages each time I call. So yesterday I wait and wait for the drugstore to call about my cough syrup. NADA! Not surprised. Then I get a call at 9:50 am today. "Calling you back about your cough medicine. What is that you needed?" Seriously?!?!? How many people do I have to talk to get this right? Then she says "ok no problem I will call cough syrup in now but you have to come back in and see Dr for antibiotics". At this point I am about to lose it. This is my third day of missing work and I can't get any meds from the place I went to on Wednesday!!! And been calling since Thursday am! I just said put the manager on the phone. I have had it! This won't surprise you.."him the manager is not here right now". Leave another message. "But I will call in your cough syrup" WAIT THERES MORE I get another call 20 min later. The manager...of course not. The same young lady saying "you have to come pick up your paper prescription here. BUT WE DON'T HAVE A DOCTOR HERE WHO HAS THEIR PRESCRIPTION PAD WITH THEM". So you're telling me a medical facility, with doctors, that see patients, doesn't have access to prescription pads???? This place is run by a bunch of kids and to this day I have never seen a doctor or spoken to a doctor! And I feel like crap and out $80! I kid you not. I couldn't make this stuff up!! Given that it is flu season, the wait was a few hours but with web check in it made the time go by quickly, since they allow you to stay at home. Terrible experience. My elderly parents were visiting from out of state. My Dad developed symptoms of a potentially serious problem. I used web checkin to sign him up to be seen. I received a confirmation email. After an hour with no contact, I called CareNow to find out how long the wait was and was told it was 2 hours and they would let me know when it was time to come in. After waiting 3 hours, I called again. I was told then that CareNow does not accept Medicare and we would have to go somewhere else. Their insurance coverage was listed on the original web login. I was furious and asked why they made us wait 3 hours before telling us they couldn't see him. The answer I got was "someone was supposed to call you". Unprofessional and incompetent. read more

I went into the clinic because my throat was terribly soar and my ears hurt badly and I felt like I could barely move as well as I had been running a fever. I was never seen by any dr at all even though I asked for one. I was told after doing lab work that I had sinus issues although I had never had sinus issues before in my life. This was a year after they opened the clinic here in Keller and I was excited to have one close to my home. I kept getting sicker and sicker and I went to another dr and found out I had mononucleosis and I had no sinus issues at all. Not only all of that I never received a call back about my appointment after calling the corporate office. I was very very disappointed that this happened. I wrote a review after after finding out what was really was wrong with me. I spent over $200 out of pocket when my insurance was to pay for most of it. How sad. I had used these clinics for many years and never had any kind of problems before but haven't used it since although I have a horrible ear infection but am afraid to go again because I don't want to be told it will treat its self after having it for 3 weeks. I don't see my original review on here now so they much disappear over time. I must say some of the other CareNow clinics are much better! read more

I originally went to the CareNow on 104 S Main and with only three people in the waiting room the front desk staff was not very friendly and told me there would be an hour and a half wait, frustrated I got in my car and drove to this one up the road. When I got there despite there being two people in the waiting room they immediately saw me. While i was filling out the paper work there was a variety of coffee, tea and hot chocolate to drink while waiting. Immediately after I turned my paperwork in the nurse called me back. I explained that I was having strep/flu symptoms so she immediately tested me for it and the results came back within minutes. I was informed that I had an upper respiratory infection and prescribed antibiotics and given tylenol for my headache. Overall my visit took less than 30 minutes and I was more than satisfied with their customer service and efficiency! Definitely making this CareNow Urgent care my main Urgent Care facility! read more

Stay far away from this place. My son was misdiagnosed and was sent home without being tested for the flu. The next day I took him to his PCP and he indeed had the flu. The appointment was rushed, was in the room with the Dr for a total of 5 minutes. $145 dollars later and was told to give him Advil for his chest pains when coughing. read more

I have visited CareNow in Keller several times over the past couple of years. In the beginning, I wasn't too impressed with the wait/process time, but since they have established the web-checkin, it is tremendously better. Definitely the best way to go - checkin online, wait at home for a call when to come in, show up and be seen within minutes! My experience at this CareNow with the doctors has always been positive. I have seen Dr Tennant 3x now and would make him my PCP if I could. I have never felt rushed, he spends the time to explain what he is doing, what tests he wants to run, possible diagnosis, and if you have any questions. Never talks down. I appreciate the convenient location and LOVE the web-checkin option! read more

Really good option if you aren't able to get in to see your physician. The wait was a little long, but it's clean and all of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Two in particular were a nurse named Paul and a PA named Whitney. Super nice and patient and answered all questions. All in all, I was happy with the visit. Wait time was pretty long, originally we were told 1 hour that turned in to 2.5 hours. In Total we were there 4 hours. The doctor and nurse were so nice that I still would've given them a 5 star if it weren't for the front desk girl Nikki. We had to listen to her poor attitude when she answered the phone and to the several people who walked in. It really did for me when my husband went to the desk to ask a simple question and she practically took his head off for it. Absolutely worst care now I've ever been to. Not only did I wait 4 hours. But I explained to my doctor that I'm from out of town and I wont be able to pick up my results from my labs. The doctor failed to put this in my records so now they will not give them to me. I live hours away. I've called multiple times and I'm always sent to a voicemail.
