I arrived with strained muscles in my back with nerve pain added. i spent a lengthy amount of time filling out paperwork despite being there five months prior. I was called back to a room over an hour later(four patients in the sitting area) and my visit with their PA was short and a waste of time. two scripts were given with no real pain relief offered. I called Carenow the next morning and asked to have someone call me for advice...nobody called. I called again and they said they "forgot" I ended up in an emergency room that next day due to unattended care and was given the appropriate meds and advice. Funny now, but when I was being treated at the emergency room someone from Carenow called. they had my last name wrong and actually challenged me about my last name. If Carenow is your only option, tell them your pain level is a 10. I gave them an 8. maybe they will pay more attention. read more

Call ahead and online appointment feature is cool but there is almost always at least a three hour wait. I'll be surprised if any of the girls at the front desk are over 21. The doctors are hit and miss, I had one really nice pediatrician and one really butchy angry at the world physicians assistant. Been here many times and have always had a good experience, but today the staff went above and beyond in helping diagnose a tricky illness that a different Doctor got wrong. I was here yesterday evening. I saw the check in link online, so you can register and wait at home, and be called when they are ready for you. I thought it was a fantastic idea, but I couldn't complete the forms, because it wanted information from my insurance provider that wasn't on my insurance card, and the form does not allow blanks. Very frustrated I went to the Care Now clinic and signed in in person. There were a TON of people filling the waiting room. I was quoted an hour and a half wait and went home to wait it out. I got the call about the time I expected, arrived back 20 mins later, and I was taken to a room to wait about 15 mins later. I saw the nurse immediately and waited a bit for the dr. I was tired and not feeling well so I took the opportunity to rest, even though you can hear through the paper thin walls. (I got a free education education, so I can't complain. I guess hernia is checks are part of a physical for school sports. I never knew. Sorry kid in the next room over. Have a great sports season, you deserve it.) The rooms have televisions. The nurse was personable and helpful. The doctor offered me a steroid shot to get me on the way to feeling better sooner and it didn't take long for the nurse to come back with the shot. For an urgent clinic it's what it's supposed to be. I think the lobby needs to be bigger, but all in all, it's fine. read more

Did web check in at 5:00pm on Friday night. They called and suggested we be seen on Saturday morning since we wouldn't be seen until 10:00pm. Did web check at 8:00am Saturday morning, and we were never called on the phone number we gave. They called the wrong phone number. Instead of seeing us, they re-did web check in and put us at the bottom of the list. They said we would be seen around 3:00pm. We called the Fossil Creek Care Now. They told us to come in and we would be seen right away. The director at Fossil Creek Care Now apologized for the negligence of the Keller location. I had a very positive experience last Saturday at this Care Now. The staff contacted me after I did the web check in and gave me my appointment. It is great to not have to sit in a waiting room for an extended period of time. The nurse I had was not only extremely competent, she was also very personable. So incredibly pissed right now --- it is Sunday, I am sick and instead of waiting to see my Doc tomorrow morning decided to go to CareNow in Keller. Checked in online on Web-Check-In at 12:30 pm got a call 15 minutes later and told that it would be about two hours before they could see me...ok - just happy to see a doctor today. I hear nothing from them - so I call at 3:30 pm and told they would be calling in everyone by 4:00 pm since they close at 5:00 pm ---- get a call at 5:05 pm from cheery voiced girl like it's when they were supposed to call 3 hours ago asking if I still needed to be seen. I gave up 30 minutes earlier and took a large dose of Nyquil - so no, thank you, but I can't even drive over there now. I get it's the beginning of flu season and all - and it's not even really about not being seen today --- it's about not even calling me to let me know or give me any type of update so if I chose, I could have tried to get in somewhere else. read more

When I cannot get into my regular doctor I go to this Keller clinic. From online check in where I immediately got a confirmation call to the professional check out it was a comfortable experience. The nurses there are very professional and explain every procedure completely. The doctor was thorough and friendly. I went to this clinic. Oh my grrrrrr they told me to wait 1hr and half to get in to the room. But I waited almost 2 and a half hours. When I was in the room another wait for 1hour and half , I told my baby to shout "doctor doctor where are you?"miraculously the doctor came in . I made several attempts to this CareNow in December and February, each time presenting my ID and UHC insurance. And each time my co-pay was between 15$ and 30$ which makes sense due to meeting my deductible. I had an appointment on 01/21 and completed the same routine. This time the lady told me that I have to pay over 170$ because my deductible wasn't met?? I informed her that my insurance hasn't reset yet and I was still charged the 170$. We are half way through february and they still haven't confirmed an over pay even though my insurance has processed this as well. They told me they will send it to their team to investigate the claim even though the people at the clinic confirmed an over pay. And now I'm told to way 5 to 10 days to call back and see if its confirmed and then I'll know if I can expect a check in the mail. This is rediculous the amount of work I have to do when the clinic charges me incorrectly. I want the money you owe me back and I'm tired of having to be the one to make it happen. read more

My husband went to CareNow because he felt sick on the weekend. He was quoted our insurance rate of $35 for the visit but upon checking out was told he owed $240. He was very ill and just paid it so he could get home, since even with web check-in he had been waiting in the waiting area for at least an hour. When I got home, I immediately called CareNow but was told the check-out person didn't get the info to charge the insurance rate and that I needed to call the billing department. Four calls to them to 1. get a statement for the $240, and; 2. have bill submitted to our insurance have so far produced nothing but promises. I came into CareNow with my 8 month old daughter. She was wheezing and very congested so we were concerned it was something serious. CareNow took us in quick and got us into a room. However, after running tests and taking x-rays they informed us that our daughter had a "junky" x-ray. They also informed us our daughter had bronchiolitis and possibly pneumonia. Additionally, they stated her oxygen level was low. However, this was debunked later as a bad read.They demanded us to head straight to the hospital and that we had zero time to waste. They informed me it was life threatening. As a father this was scary. This is my first time as a parent, so I put my trust in CareNow. That was my first mistake. I rushed her to cooks children. There we were treated with urgency. After running tests (the same CareNow ran) they found my daughter only had RSV ( Respiratory syncytial virus ). CareNow ran this test and stated they my daughter was negative for RSV and flu. In the end, CareNow was wrong with not just one but ALL when it came to my daughter. She spent her first Christmas Eve being poked and pronged all because CareNow doesn't run tests correctly. I suggest you take your children elsewhere. The only reason we were here was because we were in between insurances and had nowhere else to go on Christmas Eve. NEVER will go here again with my daughter. read more

They provide comfort to the best of their ability and show genuine concern for your pain and suffering. I was nervous and concerned and they helped me overcome those fears. This is the absolute worst clinic I have ever been to in my life. Front desk staff are incompetent and have no customer service skills. I had an issue that I needed help with. Of course nobody in the clinic knows the answer to anything so they said "I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you"... even though I had previously called ahead to make sure they offered the specific service. They never tried to ask someone else who MIGHT know the answer so they just let me stand there while they talked to each other about what time they worked the next day. And You can see straight to the room where the nurses sit behind the front desk. They were just staring at us and laughing among themselves about who knows what. No one tried to get up and see if they maybe could be of assistance. That was my first time visiting care now and I will never return to one again. Although I presented with flu symptoms during a national flu epidemic, I wasn't tested for flu; instead, I was given a strep test, which was negative, and I was prescribed an antibiotic. Later that day, both my children tested positive for the flu by their pediatrician. I called this clinic the same day to advise that I presented with flu symptoms, had not been tested for the flu, and had been exposed to the flu. Two different nurses assured me that they would check with "providers" to get me the Tamiflu prescription I was requesting, and then no one got back to me with a decision despite multiple attempts by me to reach someone again. I'm certain medical licensing authorities would question why a patient with flu symptoms during a flu epidemic wasn't tested for flu; beyond the question of medical competence, I was clearly ignored once they had been paid. #CareNot read more

"We are just waiting on the provider to order the change in meds." Nothing. I wished I had never gone to these people. I didnt receive the care and attention for the price I paid nor for the other reason I was at this place. Let me start by saying that a nurse asked me is cetirizine was like Zytrec. Right then I should have gotten up and left. I went for a chest cold and spent including medicine right under $300...{with insurance might I add}. I did not get better I got worse...much worse. I called to tell them I was much worse and was told I would have to pay $145 for another office visit for same issue I was at thier building 7 days ago. Yet again should have known something was wrong when I looked at the prescriptions I got. I asked a Physicians Assistant in the military and he laughed at me for taking those medicines for what was wrong with me. I already knew better... I am a Microbiologist. I was also under care for a secondary issue with them. These people never informed me that coverage for visits only lasted a month and anything after a month was not included. So I only got half treatment for my issues. So when I tried to correct the situation I got duped into having my health record cleared for my job. And now they have decided that the reason I am suddenly in crying/screaming pain from time to time is was not because of an injury at work but that because I am just old. Funny prior to the end of last year... I dont remember staying awake all night with a heat pad on me crying in pain nor do I remember having to take headache medicine almost everyday since mid December. My Husband had been feeling ill he needed to see a Dr. ASAP we don't have Ins. And Wasn't sure what it would cost at a private Dr Office , plus you have to make an appointment that would have probably been the next day or longer. Had to take my daughter in late on a Friday night - strep throat. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. What I noticed most was a man with a sick child arrived after they had closed and knocked on the door. He was greeted and need care for his young child. After checking with the doctor, he was allowed to come inside and get on the wait list. I know everyone wants to go home but when you open up your doors and stay late to help out a very worried parent to give the needed care to their child, that is going above usual practices. (Our pediatrician never has an issue helping us with this) She says she doesn't have the number. So I call CVS myself and get her the number while she sits and waits for me on hold on the phone. Developed what appears to be a sinus infection overnight. I have a 7 am flight in the morning for a week-long business trip, so I decided I better get to the doctor to get something for it. I called my family doctor who told me that they were booked-up and had 10 more to try to work-in. They recommended that I go to an urgent care location to ensure that I get treated. So I did an online registration with Care Now this morning around 11:30 am. I promptly received a call within 5 minutes. I was told that there was a two hour wait. Three hours later, I call and they tell me that I should be called to come in in about 30 mins. Four hours later, I call again, only to be told the same thing, but I expressed my concern and learned that they had an emergency this morning that threw them behind, but another doctor has come in and they are getting caught-up. It's now been five hours since my online sign-in and still no phone call from Care Now. No guarantee that I will ever get in today. They could have easily told me earlier today that they were slammed and they think I should check with another provider, like my family doctor office did. Kinda hard to believe that they could not have gotten me in, in a 5 hour window, unless they are taking walk-ins ahead of online sign-ins. You decide if this is urgent care service worthy of risking your health. read more

I will not return to this Care Now facility for fear of getting the same unprofessional, uncaring, arrogant, doctor that "cared" for me on my one and only visit to CN in Keller. From the minute he entered the room he was offensive and cold, refusing to hear me out as I tried to explain my situation. When I asked to see another doctor, an office worker was sent out to tell me that the second doctor agreed with the first. This might sound ok, but understand that the second doctor did not examine me or even talk with me. He only heard what the first doctor wanted him to hear. This makes him just as incompetent or at least just as uncaring as the first. I was able to go to my primary care physician the next morning and get the antibiotic I NEEDED. The difference between your PCP and these Doc in a box physicians is that your PCP sees you as a whole person and not just another person off the street. They take into consideration your family and your home situation and take time to LISTEN. I gave them two stars because the office staff and the nurse were very professional and apologetic. read more
