Not super knowledgeable about anything I had to say about my condition. Made me do a vaginal self swab. Haven't heard back if I have a yeast infection or not. Haven't heard back if I have a UTI or not. They tell me lab results take 3 to 5 business days! BULL SHIT they don't! Maybe 24 to 48 hours. I do not recommend anyone to come to the Tropicana and Jones Care now location , go to a different location if you have to cause we've never had a bad experience at any other location we've ever been to until tonight. Our experience here was awful. I'm a single mom with a new born at home, my 12 year old is sick and her throat was hurting so we rushed to the after hours urgent care because the one we normally go to was already closed. We checked in and let the front desk lady know that we would wait in the car after we registered because the lobby was full of sick patients and I have a newborn at home and I cannot risk getting the baby sick. She was very rude with us and said because we were a walk in appointment we were not to leave the lobby bc if we did we would lose our place in line. I said it usually lets us know what number we are in line in the txt message link they send to our phones and she said well I can't force you to stay here but if you leave and they call you then you will lose your place in line. I didn't want to risk getting sick so we waited in the car and kept refreshing the link until it was time for us to go back inside the lobby. It said there was 4 people ahead of us in line so we walked to the door and rang the door bell several times and she wouldn't open the door. It was freezing outside so I told my daughter we could go wait in the car and try again when there was one patient ahead of us. Once it alerted it us that we were next we walked up to the door again and rang the door bell over and over and she still did not answer the door for 6 min. Finally she buzzed us in and we took our seats waiting to be called. it said there was one person ahead of us in my txt message link. We sat in the waiting room for another 45 minutes watching everyone go back to be seen until I finally stood up to go ask why they haven't called us back yet? She replied the nurse called your name and you were not here. I told her that we were in the lobby and nobody called our name. Their front desk girl who was working at 9pm on May 18, 2026 was rude and had a bad attitude. She said we had to start our wait all the way over because we weren't there when they called our names and that there was an error on our registration paperwork. Mind you it is now 11pm and the lobby was still full. She didn't care my child was sick and didn't feel good, and that we had been waiting this whole time. It honestly could've been possible that the nurse called us back when we were stuck outside the front doors when she was taking forever to buzz us in the lobby. the owner should check the cameras and the time stamp. I originally went to a closer Urgent Care but their internet was down so they said if you needed any medicine you would not get it tonite. So I went to another location and lucked out w only 2 ppl in front of me. I had Lexi M. and she was attentive and actually cared- unlike my primary care Dr. which I went to earlier today w no help. She told me to go home n drink tea and rest. I am so glad I came tonite bad Lexi she was great and discovered I had a viral infection/dud to pollen asthma etc. So she gave me some meds and I appreciated someone taking the time to actually do some research. Had to come here for my scratched cornea and carenow was quick to get me in and thankfully they took my insurance. But their pre registration process was cumbersome and the system didn't take my information the first time so I had to fill out the form a second time, which was frustrating since I can't see well at that time. But I didn't have to wait too long at 8am on a Thursday and the doctor was able to do a basic diagnosis and refer me to a specialist optometrist right away. So not bad, now I know where to go when I have an urgent issue but not emergency. read more

This office is awful. I go to care now quite frequently and my co-pay with insurance is always $30. They wanted to charge me $40 even though nothing has changed with my insurance and it's exactly the same. They also only allow patients in the doctor's rooms. NEVER have I not been allowed to go into a doctor's room with the patient, especially when I've filled out the paperwork and the payment is on my card. And I've been to a lot of care now's around the valley. Service was also slow considering we checked in online before hand. And staff was not that friendly. read more

Nurse Orlanda & Georgina were so incredibly helpful. I came in with a bad asthma attack. Nurse Orlanda was so caring, she made sure to prescribe me everything I needed to feel better and gave me a breathing treatment. I had to return a few days later because of a problem with a breathing product and nurse Georgina dropped everything she was doing to help me. This location isn't close to me but I would come back in a heartbeat because of how sweet, thoughtful and caring these people are. This location is unprofessional and inconsistent. If you have double coverage, do not come here. One week they will bill both insurances, and the next week they will refuse and tell you that you need to pay your copay for your primary insurance. They claim it's their policy, yet I've been here two other times in the last two months and didn't have this issue. The girl at the front desk is rude and refused to listen, instead of simply checking. They have you check in on your phone after sending you a link. There was absolutely no wait. I don't know if that's because it was 7:00 in the morning or what. Less than 10 minute drive from the strip, beautiful lobby and registration area. Angela the CNA was friendly and efficient. Lucy the medical provider was awesome at given suggestions for over the counter (otc) medications. Had time for questions as well. Two things that I would suggest is having the vitals in the paperwork, as well as the otc medications listed as well. Secondly, I called CareNow and asked where my Rx was sent to because at the end od appointment I changed it to the CVS in the next parking lot and they still sent it to Walgreens on the strip and basically said she wasn't the one who did this soooooo. Walked in and was told there was an hour and a half wait time, I waited for two and a half. I came in for a checkup on a wound and the nurses, without removing all of the bandages applied, deemed that I was infected and may have nicked an artery. The sent me to the ER immediately-- Doc at the ER said the wound was well taken care of and that there was nothing to do. In the nature of ERs, I got charged $200. An avoidable expense if this clinic had simply checked my wound, which is the service I paid for. read more

This place gets worse with every visit. I usually go to the urgent Care on Rancho and Charleston, that's 24 hours. The only reason I got roped into going back to Carenow was the online check-in. The problem with that is the online check-in is a complete and total waste of time; I waited 45 minutes at home and then got told to come to the office. When I got to the office, as I was pulling in, it was texting me, threatening to take my appointment. When I entered the office, people were waiting who I assumed were after me in line, but I was told that no, I was at the end of the line and that the online check-in was of no use. I do not understand how it tells me to leave home 20 minutes before my appointment and texts me rushing me to get there and then when I get there the completely nasty and uncaring staff, I believe her name was Christina, could not care in the least bit that I was being put to the back of a line that I should have been at the front of. The whole purpose of the web check-in is to eliminate waiting for extended periods at the office. This is utterly useless, so do not be fooled and allow this to convince you to use this place; the providers are also extremely uncaring and seem much less qualified than they are at the urgent care at 888 South Rancho. read more

I absolutely hate the people they hire to work at the front desk. They are nice, but it is clear that you do not need an education to work here. I have been to this clinic probably about two times. The first time I went, they messed up. I provide my insurance information every single time. Some how, they cannot get it straight who my insurance is. It always reverts to some major insurance company that I am not enrolled in. Clearly, no phone calls are made to verify insurance. They really don't care. I did not receive a bill for my visit for a couple of months. As though this was my fault. I had to call them to ask where my bill was as I diligently pay for them. They told me that they sent the claim and was waiting to hear back from the insurance. It turned out that the claim was sent to the wrong insurance company. They cleared that up and sent me the bill and I paid it all in full. I went to them a couple of weeks ago and I had to deal with someone who was not bright yet again. She told me that they were out of network (they are not out of network) and that I had to do a self pay. This really hacked me off because I have been here before without incident. I told her that I did not have enough to do a self pay. She suggested to go to the emergency room. This made me more livid. I told her that that is even more expensive and I also told her that she basically turning patients away who need care. She told me that I was making things up and turned me away. So, I had to waste gas and go to my boyfriend for money. When I returned, this not so bright lady told me that I could just give the receipt to my insurance. WRONG!! You cannot just give your receipt to the insurance. I know because I work for the insurance company that I provided!! You need medical codes in order to process a claim. I even gave it to my insurance and he told me that I need a HCFA form. I called CareNow's billing department and was told I had to wait 72 hours. When I called them again, they claimed that they were mailing this to me. It has been probably over two weeks and I have not seen anything in the mail!! The doctors are hit and miss here to. When I visited a couple years ago, I was provided the incorrect diagnosis for my eyes. This recent visit was pretty good. They helped me with my worries and told me that I had an ear infection. I was sent on my way with a prescription that helped me! Thank-you for that! I would only suggest CareNow because their self pay is more affordable. However, the people who work at the front desk are not very intelligent, the management does not follow up when you submit a complaint, and the billing department is not prompt. read more

Didn't start good but ended great! Both my mom and I came in to be seen. I am in pain and just because I'm not crying they didn't take me before other people that got here AFTER ME! Her words"everyone signs the same paperwork" ... yeah I see that! I saw him getting here and getting paperwork returning it AFTER US. And we have been waiting for 2hours.... Before being seen... She also said because it's late and she is alone we had to wait in our car but she had other people in lobby including the guy who came after us. Why are you discriminating... and when I confronted her about them taking the guy before us she didn't like it. After I sat down in the lobby she said "oh lord!!!!!" Very disrespectful. She also picks and choose who has to ring the bell and who doesn't to be let in. The bell to be let in is silver looking so honestly I wouldn't even think to ring it or maybe I was sooo focus on my mom and my pain and I was tired that to me it just didn't look like a button. Now keep in mind instead of opening the door when she saw us at the door she told me push the button. Well I got even MORE MAD because I'm seeing other people she looks up and let's them in with out pushing the button. I think that calls for us being upset. Especially when we are in pain.. I'll give you a tip. Stop giving bad energy out and we won't give you bad energy back. Just because you say welcome with attitude doesn't mean we feel welcome. You are first impression. And I hope you read this because it's very important people pay attention to everything especially when they really need you to help them because they are in pain. I fully understand everyone is different and some people may be priority than others but that should had been your answer say something like "I'm sorry your right you came in before unfortunately we get people in by the type of emergency they have. Some people have to be prioritized I do apologize but you are in line and I see 1 or 2 people ahead of you. Thank you for your patience" that would had made me more comfortable and relax and the whole bell thing if you would had open the door of course like you did for the other people. Medical assistant was AMAZING!!! very nice and friendly and informative. Showed concern. Understanding. He knows all the right questions to ask. He knew what he was talking about. Very nice and smart. Way different vibe in the back office I guess it's worth the wait. Because of him I gave them a hire rating. In the room I only waited 10 minutes the doctor was very nice too. Full of energy and GREAT VIBES. They really made me happy once I got to the back office. The girl from front desk was a little more relax when she came in the room with us. The doctor needed a female assistant and she made my mom feel more comfortable. They were very informative great vibes and helped me and my mom . Thank you for the help. Wife needed some prescriptions for her asthma, this urgent care is about 15min drive from The Strip. They have this "high tech" web check-in process that takes about 20 mins to complete to get signed-in in the first place. It's a bit stupid to me but perhaps they want to cut out paper... Our actual wait was less than 45 mins to get name called so that's good. I stayed in the waiting area, my wife complained to me that the doctor came in and wouldn't let her get a word in. Talking over her is not an easy task so this says something about how he was speeding through the examination. Made me feel so much better after prescribing me an antibiotic for my ear infection and flushing out my ear wax. My equilibrium is stabilized so I'm no longer woozy&dizzy in addition to headache. At around 4:30am took my husband with a bad sinus and cold, but of course with COVID going around and Christmas just 2 days away we wanted to make sure that it wasn't COVID . Very impressed with how streamline appointment here went! The check in online was very simple and I do encourage others to do that to eliminate long wait times. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking and a large, clean and inviting wait room. The wait time was not long and overall I was in and out in probably less than 20 minutes! Was told there was an over two hour wait for an empty lobby. Was told the only way for me to be seen was to check in online and I can't wait in the lobby. Four people went in after I did and we're not only seen and left they were able to check in no problem in person and allowed to wait in the lobby anyway. Mixed messages.
