I had my appointment on August 5th and unfortunately left feeling rushed and like many of my questions were not properly answered. I was there for testing and expected to have a thorough explanation of my results and treatment plan. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of privacy. After my urine sample was tested, the nurses kept the door open, and I could hear conversations in the hallway about my testing. Given that this involved sensitive medical information, I did not feel that my privacy was being handled appropriately. I was also concerned because I was told my lab results were still pending, and I have since received only partial medication while waiting for clarification about my results and treatment. I have had to repeatedly call to get answers, but I've been placed on hold and then disconnected without getting the information I need. I understand that some lab results take time, but communication is extremely important when you're dealing with sensitive health concerns. I shouldn't have to repeatedly call just to find out what my results mean or whether I have received the appropriate treatment. Overall, I left feeling unheard, rushed, and frustrated. 6/16/2026 Card reader is garbage, I ran my card once and then the front desk lady tells me that it was showing error on her end and to run my card again. I checked my account and my biggest fear happened it showed that it charged me twice. Then she gives me a number to call because she can't do anything about it umm okay? I call the number and they can't do anything until my insurance processes the claim and tells me it could take up to 45 days to get my money back and also they don't do it electronically and it has to be by "check" through mail. What a joke of an inconvenience that sounds. It charged me electronically so I expect my refund to be the same. I shouldn't have to wait for it by mail. I call my insurance and they say it has been processed, puts me in a conference call with a CareNow agent and still they say it's not showing on their end, huh? Now I have to continually call them and ask on the status of my refund. Beware if the front desk asks you to run your card twice, because it says "error" check your account first to see if it already charged you. Because the stress you'll have to go through to get your money back is crazy and who knows when you'll get it and if ever through "check" by mail smh. read more

This location has ample parking and easy in and out access. The receptionist is friendly enough but really only business. The lobby is clean and spacious. The check in process is a bit tedious and I was that it would just updating insurance cards. I do appreciate being able to check my place in line online. So they got me in to the room for vitals about 10 minutes prior to the estimate. I was actually out three minutes after the estimate visit time. Assistants and nurses can in swiftly and left swiftly with limited bed side manner but my issue was resolved quickly which was what I truly needed in this moment. read more

Excellent Care and Truly Kind Staff!! I visited CareNow on S Rainbow on a weekday morning after completing the web check-in, which said they were ready for us. We still had to fill out some forms and wait a short while, but it wasn't bad at all. Dr. Nguyen and the nursing staff were exceptional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, in addition to being knowledgeable and professional. They turned what could have been an uncomfortable visit into an easy and reassuring experience. Even the checkout process was handled with patience and compassion. This was one of the most positive urgent care visits I've ever had. Excellent care, great communication, and a team that truly goes above and beyond. Purposely went out of my way to visit this specific urgent care location which had the highest rating amongst all other locations. I was seen promptly (may help to check in and set a walk in appt up online) I was met with kind, friendly employees from the front desk down to the nurse I was seen by. I encourage you to exercise your patience and overall kindness as the world needs more of it but especially those with front facing, human interaction careers like these medical providers. Seriously, truly, beware. My experience was great, staff friendly, but they participate in surprise billing, and they calculate the total amount over the good faith estimate in a way that's specifically intended to be *just* under $400 more than the good faith estimate. This is deliberate fraud. The cost for urgent care, at any facility, is $100-150, paid upfront. I just received an extra bill in the mail, stating that my total charges are $506, minus my payment of $180. There is NO WAY this visit was $506 (self pay). I have never been charged that, by *actual* medical offices, including eye/dermatology/veterinary (including full dental, anesthesia & bloodwork, which is typically $300!) specialists. This is clear fraud, and I plan to dispute it as soon as I wake up on Monday. Either way, I will not pay this, and you shouldn't either. Medical bills fall off your credit report after a certain number of years. Before you go to an urgent care, call and ask if they plan to violate you in this way (which is F'd up, because you should be focusing on your medical emergency if you're in a position where you need urgent care). I've been to other urgent care offices in my area and they've never done this to me. This location prioritizes HCA employees. I'm not sure about the other CareNow locations. It's faster to go to the website and register at home. Then, you will get a text message letting know when to leave for your appointment. If you choose to show up without registering ahead, there's the possibility that they may not have any walk-in appointments, and there may be a longer wait to be seen. The reception staff were knowledgeable in answering questions and getting you checked in. The medical staff were good. I recommend this location. read more

I went to CareNow urgent care at 7424 S Rainbow blvd STE A Las Vegas 89139 on February 25th 2026 seen by David Christensen MD diagnosed with acute coughing and upper respiratory infection medication prescribed: promethazine DM syrup and Methylprednisone tablet, I just called the clinic February 27th just few minutes ago to asked the receiver call to let Dr. David know that my heartrate is higher than normal over 100-110 bpm after 15 to 30 minutes taking the medicines. Now the call receiver seems not helping my situation saying that Dr. David is off and that she cannot call or text Dr. David. I was so upset about this since she should let Dr. David know. read more

I tested positive for COVID, and was diagnosed with ear and throat inflammation and a high fever. Can you imagine how dangerous it could have been if I hadn't found help elsewhere? Someone like her should not be working at the front desk in a healthcare facility. Her behavior was not only unprofessional, it could have led to serious consequences. I come here a lot of times when our PCP can't see us four our random illnesses. I swear PCP's only do your annual check up but aren't there for when you're actually sick. Okay that was off a bit off tangent lol back to Care Now. I love that they allow you to Web Check In and do your patient paperwork online. Today we were sent a text message to say they were ready to accept us at 12p. We drove over and signed in at 12:15p. We finally got into the exam room at 12:57p. Left at 1:15p If you do web check in, when you arrive you just fill out 1 form for your reason for the visit and then sit and wait for when it's your turn to be seen. A very convenient option. Today the Medical Assistant Shawna helped us. She made jokes with my teen about not throwing up on her during the strep swab, because then she'll throw up and it'll be bad for all of us haha. I appreciate her bedside care and banter. With teens you gotta be a little silly and a lot sarcastic. She gets it. The Nurse Practitioner Davina Andres saw us. She discussed my son's symptoms and talked about what the causes would be. Strep swab came back negative so she talked about ways to alleviate the symptoms: hydrate, sleep, steamy showers, warm soups. As someone who has worked in health care for 10 years my experience here was extremely disappointing. I highly suggest you guys find a new receptionist. She's extremely rude, cold uninformative also has horrible phone etiquette. This is also not my first experience with her. First time I chocked it up to her having a bad day but after 4 visits there's really no excuse for her poor attitude and demeanor. This entire company is terrible and will waste your time and then try and bill you whether they provide you with service or not. I ended up coming to this location because I was required to get a specific physical for a job I was doing. I went to the first location on Blue Diamond and the doctor had no idea what he was doing and wasted weeks of my time and delayed the start of my job. He gave me wrong instructions and ultimately, nothing he did was considered valid and he actually got fired. I was then sent to this location where they were completely unhelpful and tried to charge me for things I'd already been charged for. I finally gave up and went to another provider who knew what tehy were doing and had me all set after one visit. The state should shut these guys down. Healthcare is pretty third-world in NV and these guys are just teh worst of the worst. To summarize; first they screwed up and then they tried to charge me for it. Checked in online before the 8:00 AM opening time on a Sunday. Although I was first in their queue, it was at least 8:15 AM by the time I was taken in. It took about another 20 minutes for the X-ray technician to arrive. Diagnosis and prescription were made by the nurse practitioner on duty. Came in for food poisoning and got no help. Was sent to a pharmacy that the insurance did not accept. We were close to closing time for most pharmacy's, but could have made it to the cvs across the street if they had sent it there. Upon calling back to urgent care they had acknowledged that Walgreens did not accept the insurance and they knew that upon sending us to there only because it was 24 hours. Would have appreciated more than a 5 min talk with a doctor for prescription that we couldn't get, and not even fluids to help with the dehydration. Would just advise to be very prescriptive and double check the work. The front desk was extremely helpful but I'm not sure what was going on with whoever is pushing out the prescriptions. read more

Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable, but misdiagnosed me. Nurse had extremely strong perfume, which would be nice in other settings but with allergies and asthma and sick it wasn't nice at all. Nurse also couldn't spell medications and surgeries I have had and felt it was ok to find the closest thing and let the doctor guess. But...what the nurse failed to release is that the medical records could be used for legal purposes down the road and could create problems with my health insurance company. The nurse also showed a lack empathy or something for a health issue. They have how to communicate with patients on the door. They probably need more stickers. I wouldn't recommend this Care Now. I had a very unpleasant visit at this specific location this evening and things ended with me not seeing a doctor and my walk-in appointment being canceled.. Instead, the front desk reception Josh who expressed very unprofessional and careless customer service, informed me that because I walked outside the lobby I lost my placement in line and my walk in appointment. I asked for them to provide me with the opt out policy he referred to when he called me to cancel my appointment. He couldn't reiterate the policy he referred to, so I asked for a supervisor. He hands me a business card and says that was the supervisors card information, and had nothing else to say. If this is how business is conducted here I can see why Nevada's healthcare is plummeting. Josh at the front desk was very rude, as saw no problem about how unprofessional he was. Maybe next time he shouldn't cancel peoples appointments for stepping outside to get some air. Unfortunately I was sick and sought assistance at this CareNow location. I did a web check in and drove to the location. I checked in and sat in the waiting room. As I waited, I noticed that every single person that came in after me was assisted before me. When I went up to ask why, I was told that the manager put through all of the web check ins first. I told them that I was a web check in. The front desk person was courteous, but wasn't helpful in this issue. I continued to wait- for a total of over an hour. They also collect your payment at time of check in, so you can't really leave. I have been to other locations and have had great experiences. Stay away from this location. read more

Hello flu season! I woke up the other day feeling like I got hit by a bus. I quickly checked in online to this place. I know it says they take walk ins but I DO NOT recommend doing that. Check in online first! It will save you HOURS. When i finally got my text to come in, I still had to wait another hour in the waiting room before I was called back. The people walking in with no check in were being quoted 2.5-3 hours to be seen! Once I was inside, the staff were all so kind and really helpful. I was given the "holy trinity" of tests: flu, covid, strep. Got the results in 15 min, got my prescription filled out and was on my way. Only con is echoing the other reviews that the waiting process could be more efficient. I still waited an hour in the waiting room after being texted to check in. Not sure why the receptionists would want sick people spreading their germs near them in the waiting room longer than they have to. read more
