I come here whenever I can't get into my primary doctor and it has always been a pleasant experience despite being under the weather. I have only had one issue and it was handled professionally. My 11 year old son was carried off the nearby soccer field after an ankle injury during a game on Saturday 3/28. He was in extreme pain and couldn't put any pressure on it. I immediately called this location since it was close to the field and it was in-network for insurance to make sure they had an x-ray machine onsite. We drove directly there. We carried him inside and there was no greeting from the receptionist. I used their machine to check in and finished the forms via a link sent to my cell phone. I was called to the front desk shortly after; again, no greeting. I was told the copay. This was clearly a business interaction. No compassion. No concern. No empathy. All business. So disappointing. Nonetheless, I too have a job to do as a Mom, get my son care so I ignored it. The nurse who called him back was sweet. She offered a wheel chair, and was kind as she took his vitals. Then the doctor came in. We told her what happened and she ordered an x-ray. She didn't attempt to move it or really do any examination. Quite emotionless as well, but I digress. A travel x-ray tech arrived within 30 minutes from another location. She was nice. X-ray complete. Roughly an hour later we were told no break, no fracture, go home. The verbal instructions varied drastically from the paper they provided. I was confused. He was given a note to miss school Monday. We were also given lollipops. I was worried so picked up crutches for him to be safe since he wasn't weight bearing. Sunday it bruised a bit more and the swelling increased, still, he was in a lot of pain, the same Monday. Bigger his ankle got, and he told us it was tingling so we called back to CareNow and asked for an order for a stat MRI. We were told it was unlikely and we'd receive a call. It's now Saturday 4/4. No call ever came. We took him to his pediatrician on Tuesday who ordered a stat x-ray at Children's Bone and Spine and it was confirmed the same day that he has a bone fracture in his foot. He's now in a boot for 4 weeks and still on crutches. He has a follow up at the end of the month. Thanks for literally nothing CareNow (lollipops, don't count). No empathy, no accurate results, no follow up on your return call and no care for my child. You didn't deserve my copay, my trust, or my child. You impeded/delayed my job as a mother to help my son get better and without so much as a common courtesy, hello. Shame on me for not reviewing the reviews first. read more

Have been here twice in the last three weeks for different reasons. The check in online is efficient. I generally do not have to wait too long. The visit with the doctor is super quick. Tell them all of your symptoms because you get only a few minutes. Some staff are more personable than others. It is not meant to be place to get "care" it's a place to just get seen when you can't get into your primary and don't want to go to the ER. I have ended up going to my primary for aftercare when the meds don't work. read more

Within 15 minutes of requesting an appointment I was able to be seen. Cyrus at the front desk made check-in fast and easy. Diana - the medical assistant - was efficient and compassionate as I explained my symptoms. Nancy Diago - the nurse practitioner - was able to easily find out what was wrong, prescribe the appropriate medication and send it to my preferred pharmacy, and explain what to do if I needed a follow up. Oh, I had the worst experience there yesterday number one. The fat girl in the front office is confused about her job. I was charged $65 for a physical when I gave her my insurance information. she still got my paperwork wrong 3 times then, I also had to wait 2 1/2 hours and by the time I got to the back, they had this man faced big Asian lady that had an attitude from jump with me. She was talking crap about the fact that my surgeon did not request an EKG and told me that if I did not get an EKG, she was not going to sign my clearance form. She also was making sure to let me know she had a Neuro background and she didn't like her coworkers or corporate and didn't care about what they were saying and she's not risking her license to be faster which I care nothing about that m. then she requested that I sent my labs to her email because she didn't think that the doctor that I was seeing that requested my physical was competent which is not her place to say she was very rude and had a awful lot to say about everything. she did my whole physical and then when I told her I did not have another $50 because I wasn't even supposed to pay the 65 for the physical in the first place. She said oh well you can leave because I'm not signing this paper unless you get an EKG and start talking crap about the doctor. She went outside of the room twice to talk crap to her coworkers about me and the surgeon that I chose to do my procedure which is totally unprofessional. I wouldn't take a dog there. I'm still mad that I spent my time there waiting and waiting and waiting and got treated like that. I'm also telling my surgeon so he won't refer this place to anyone else! On a weekday, just before 8 AM, I checked in online, then kept an eye on the estimated time of my turn in line, so that I could drive there in time. I arrived ten minutes early, at 9 AM, checked in to the kiosk there, and made my co-payment. It took another hour for my name to be called--while I was number one in the queue--then get the initial assessment by a nurse. It took almost another half hour before I was finally seen by a nurse practitioner for evaluation. It was about 11 AM before I finally got out of there with my diagnosis and prescription. Had I known it would take this long--nearly three hours total--I would have instead used the advice nurse and telemedicine appointment that are provided by my insurance. This, I recommend because of the apparently low practitioner-to-patient ratio at this urgent care clinic. In summary, I was happy with the care quality, but not the three-hour duration that I had to be away from work. read more

Definitely have mixed feelings about my recent visit here. I put my name in online around 4:30 one afternoon after dealing with some severe ear congestion for about a week. It told me that there were 4 people ahead of me, so my expected appointment time was about 5:10. It ended up moving to about 5:40, but I got a text at 5:05 telling me that my turn was coming up. I appreciate this service, but wish that their online system would sync with their text notifications. Check-in was very quick once I arrived, and I ended up sitting in the waiting room for about 15 minutes. Once the medical assistant took me back, she took my blood pressure, etc. and then I waited for the doctor for about another 15 minutes. All of this was exactly what I expected, so I really wasn't annoyed to have to wait. I will say that the medical assistant definitely seemed like she was in a huge rush, and wasn't very pleasant. My visit with the doctor was probably only about 10 minutes long. He was excellent, and explained everything in a way that really made sense to me. He prescribed me a couple of medications to pick up at my pharmacy, and sent me on my way. I walked out right behind the doctor and he told me to have a nice night. I went ahead and checked in with the front desk staff to make sure that there wasn't anything else that I needed to do, and she told me I was fine and that my prescription would be sent over to the pharmacy shortly. When I got to the pharmacy, they had absolutely zero record of my prescription. It hadn't been very long, so they recommended that I call the clinic just to make sure that it had been sent over. When I called, the medical assistant that I spoke to was very rude and told me that all my information should be on my discharge paperwork. I told her I did not get any discharge paperwork, and she informed me that I was supposed to check out at the back with the medical assistant prior to leaving. How I was supposed to know this, I have no idea, especially since the doctor told me I could leave. Anyway, the pharmacy did end up receiving my prescription, it was just a little bit delayed. Overall, CareNow did everything that I needed them to do, just with absolutely zero frills, and very little bedside manner from everyone except the doctor. read more

I went with my kid for a strep test 10 minutes before closing. They had already turned off the lights and locked the doors. I knocked and the woman realized it wasn't closing time yet, but said she couldn't do the strep test anyway because the doctor went home early since they didn't have anyone there. So basically lazy staff closed early and worse, doctor left early. I ended up having to go to ER for a strep test, so much for urgent care for these types of things. read more

I come in with clear UTI symptoms and they shovel me off telling me to visit a urologist. You have to send the sample to Quest to eliminate the possibility of E. coli. This is Avery clean facility. There's a clean restroom in waiting area. Lots of parking and near a a bunch of restaurants and also a Starbucks. I suggest you upload all your information and check in online before you make your way there. They'll send you a message when they're ready to start processing your information and you'll need to be there for this. You'll still wait about an hour once you get there. It is way better than waiting a few hours there. While you wait, you can get a bite or a drink at Starbucks or Jamba Juice (walking distance). The few times I went here I was too sick to eat or drink any of these places so I just say in my car once and waited in the waiting area the other times because it wasn't that crowded. The staff is friendly and my doctors I saw we're patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Another tip is not to pick up your prescriptions at the Walgreens near by because they take a long time because the hospital and other doctors offices are near by. read more

Being I'll or not feeling great, the last thing that you'd expect to encounter are workers who look as if they'd prefer you'd gone elsewhere for care. My daughter went here for Strep retest and on both occasions, the nurse tech seemed annoyed that my daughter had the "audacity" to gag during the swab test! Natural reaction with anyone I'd suppose. The facility is very clean, organized appearance hence the reason for the 3 star rating. I won't be bringing my daughter back here! I have only been here once and it was for a sinus infection. Overall I had an awesome experience. I came an hour before closing and got in line online before I arrived. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was waiting for me and got me in right away. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and did get time with the doctor. She was able to figure out I had an infection and give me antibiotics to get better. I was super pleased with my visit and the outcome. read more

My referral slip, blood work paperwork, chest ray paperwork and pre-op care was simply not enough for them. They said they needed even more information, like surgery date and why. They DENIED ME an exam approved and required for my upcoming surgery, ordered by my surgeon. The coward doc (if you can call them One) on premise wouldn't come out to speak to me, instead leaving it to the front desk reps to defend this irrational decision. The medical industrial complex is real. They also said that not only after bringing the correct paperwork it would still take SEVEN DAYS FOR ONE GUY WHO OVERSEES 19 LOCATIONS TO APPROVE IT. A few weeks ago, my mother-in-law became very ill with a cough, congestion, sore throat, etc. She lives in L.A. and is on Medical and Medicare, so I looked up local urgent care facilities that would accept her coverage. I found a CareNow Urgent Care at 7040 S Durango Dr. Ste 105, Las Vegas, NV 89113. As instructed, I went online, filled out all the documentation, and made an appointment. Everything went smoothly. I was texted when she was to arrive, and the wait wasn't too bad after arrival, maybe 15 minutes or so. The NP (Nurse Practitioner), front desk girl, and medical assistant were all pleasant, helpful, considerate, and caring. To my wife's [and my] surprise, she was diagnosed with COVID and given cough syrup, cough pills, and some pills developed for COVID. My wife and I expected she would start to feel better shortly. However, as usual, the best-laid plans of mice and men went awry. And two weeks later, there wasn't much improvement, so we had to make another appointment at the same facility at Durango and Arby. The appointment was scheduled (no text this time) for 1800 hours, and several people followed us in after we had arrived, but they were taken first. Unfortunately, this time something was different from the first appointment. The heavy-set receptionist wasn't pleasant and was actually combative upon arrival. We sat and waited for almost 90 minutes beyond the designated scheduled appointment. We were told that the online documents were not filled out, which I had copies of, and we showed them to the very rude receptionist who barely looked up from her web surfing or gaming. She refused to acknowledge my paperwork and forced us to redo the documentation on my telephone. When I brought this up to the receptionist, she completely ignored me, so we sat it out for 90+/- minutes. The NP (Nurse Practitioner) was not the same, and she shrugged off our suggestions even though my wife and I had also gotten COVID and were prescribed different medications. Finally, I forced the issue and insisted my mother-in-law be given prednisone for inflammation, a nebulizer, and an inhaler prescription. I am happy that within 2-3 days after the new prescriptions, my mom-in-law is now much better and doing well. Unfortunately, had I not been at this second appointment, I'm not sure anything of real significance would have been done by anyone attending my mother-in-law. What a shame the first visit went so well, regardless of the outcome, but different people make for a completely different experience. I would have given five stars for the first visit, but for the atrocious and combative second visit, I have to offer 1 star or less. So combining these two experiences, this facility receives a maximum of a two-star rating. read more

Don't go here with kids. They turned away my husband who brought our 3 year old for stitches because they felt she wouldn't stay still. Had to take her to the ER which costs more, and she was perfectly still for the staff there. Very upset they turned away a 3 year old with a head laceration. Kai was extremely knowledge very helpful, and extremely caring and understand, she gave me a lot of information on Thyroids, which that wasn't the reason for the visit to urgent care. I was referred here by a coworker after coming down with a horrible sickness on a Sunday night. Fever, chills, weakness. It was not something I needed to go to the ER for and I was pretty sure based off my symptoms I had strep throat. I went in Monday morning around 8:30am. Check in was pretty easy. I provided my ID, insurance card and filled out a couple forms of paperwork. There was one other guy waiting in the lobby and during my time I waited another lady came right in and went in the back. I later found out that they have online check in so that you can wait at home and they will call you which is VERY nice. Even without online check in, I only waited around 15 minutes. The facility is clean and there was plenty of parking in the morning. I can see parking getting full at this area due to the gym, starbucks and some of the other places around. I didn't have that problem in the morning through. Once I got in to see the nurse he took a brief history of my medication I was on, prior surgeries, height and weight and current symptoms. I told him I was pretty sure I had strep and he agreed to do a rapid strep test. i waited around 10 minutes and Dr. Denton came in and checked me out. She then went back out to check the test and advised it came back positive. Overall very warm person and I felt that they did a good job. They called in my antibiotic for me to Walgreens and I was checking out quick. Efficient, Caring, Clean and Convenient. I will be back. read more

I checked in online and was given a 1030 anticipated appointment time. I got to the office at 10:31. I wasn't called back until almost 1130. And wasn't seen until about 11:40. They were unable to run any diagnostic tests for abdominal pain to determine the difference between constipation or appendicitis. They also were not able to write an order for me to have the test done elsewhere. Complete waste of time and money. The visit cost me $200 against my deductible. read more

I was told that I just have a cold. Sorry but I don't get fevers with a cold. I'm laying here crying because my fever keeps inching higher and she claims it is only a cold. Never in 36 years have I had a fever with a cold nor lose my entire appetite with a cold. I'm also negative for covid. She then writes in my discharge papers that I refused the covid test and that I was asymptomatic. Total lie. I had a few symptoms when I was tested. And nothing would change in 2 days if I am positive or negative. And my insurance changed and they did nothing with my card so I'm not looking forward to that bill because of their incompetence. Last time I go there and I'll tell others to never visit this urgent. Quickcare us so much better. And look at this lie from their patient portal (photo) . The doctor wouldn't offer any treatments. And since I have trouble breathing with a mask she told me to wait in my car while they get my papers ready. I did the web check in prior to coming into the clinic. After about approximately 35 minutes I received the text to notify me to head to the clinic and check in with the front desk. Walked into the clinic their were 3 people ahead of me. It took me 30 minutes to get to the front desk which was handled by 1 staff. She greeted me with how can I help you I informed her that I was checking in which was me and my two kids she asked for my id as well as insurance cards she then gave me 3 individual half sheet questions to be answered. Sat down filled it down and gave it back to her in less than 2 minutes the time is now 12:32 pm. It literally took her about 1 hour just to input these answers scan the document in because I was watching her. Once she was done she then said here's a copy of your id and Insurance cards the time is now 1:23 pm got called to the back at 1:45 pm the nurses was great as well as the PA we were out of there in 25 minutes read more
