I called the Umc to schedule a visit for renewal of my Fmla and the agent on the phone said the only doctor available was dr. Hawkins at the Rainbow location. I scheduled the appointment, went in, payed my copay, got seen by the doctor about half an hour later only to find out that the doctor does not do Fmla papers for the first time patients! This could've been avoided if they just let the patients know at the time of the scheduling that a doctor does not provide certain services. Very disappointing, terrible service with Umc quickcare in general. read more

Outstanding Pediatric Care! During my grandson's visit, he fell ill, and I took him to this clinic. After verifying my paperwork (In loco parentis) and notifying my son that they would provide care and update him if anything serious arose, they quickly took my grandson back for triage. From the front desk to the medical team, the entire staff was compassionate and attentive. Our nurse was especially warm and engaging, keeping my grandson comfortable while efficiently checking his vitals--she even kept him entertained with questions about Spider-Man! i find it easier to stop by here then book with an online doctor. I went today to check on a possible ear infection. It was. I also have a history of clogged right ear that many ENTs had problems removing. Today Charge Nurse Vic Q was able to flush it out. Whenever I go there, I am always pleased with the courteous and professional service. If I have that problem again, I will blow off the ENT and go there. read more

Although the staff was extremely efficient, what stood out to me most was how warm and friendly everyone was. Truly felt like I was being taken care of. Also to Becky at the front desk very friendly and efficient. A total different experience than when I went Thursday to Summerlin QC. And had to see someone that refused to treat my daughter for her sinus infection that she was diagnosed with by Dr Vu. Her sinus was so severe that she had discharge from her eyes not due to pink eye but how severe her sinus infection was. I visited this Urgent Care last Friday. I waited approximately 30 to 45 minutes to be checked in. The wait wasn't that bad. They had approximately 5 to 6 people waiting there before I had arrived. I did ask if I could lay down when I first arrived given that I wasn't feeling well. They told me there was nowhere to lay down and advised me to sit in the waiting room. Well, that isn't exactly true. There were several empty rooms when I finally got to be seen. The nurse took my blood pressure and measured my oxygen levels. Once I was placed in the room, doctor Gish mentioned that there wasn't that much that they could do. They do not have the ability to run blood tests. I asked if they run urinalysis. He Explained that a urinalysis isn't typical in this type of situation. They proceeded to take X-rays and run an EKG The doc explained that everything looked fine except for an abnormal EKG. He referred me to the ER so that they could run another EKG and take my blood After Dr Gish phoned Spring Valley Hospital, fanform to me that they'll be waiting for me in triage at the ER. I was concerned about driving another mile and a half in my condition but I proceeded to the ER anyway since I didn't want to leave my car in the parking lot. Got sick while on vacation and needed to be seen, I liked the woman who checked me in at the front office, she was polite and funny. My nurse seemed a bit agitated, but healthcare is TOUGH so I get it. The Nurse Practitioner was loud talking and very assuming. I sustained a serious, heavily bleeding open wound to my lower leg. I was treated immediately. Dr. Vu was friendly and skilled as he repaired my injury with 16 stitches. Nurse Vic Q. was by my side monitoring my vital signs, cleaning-up the blood and giving me warm encouragement. I felt that I was in capable hands. From the office receptionists (Maria and others) to the medical staff, the entire process was positive in every way. Dr. Vu set-up a series of appointments for me with the Burn and Wound Care department at the UMC main hospital. The team took great care of me when I needed it following injuries to my knee and ankle. The check-in process was fast and efficient and I was in to see a doctor within 10 minutes. I was made to feel welcome. The care team were all friendly and efficient. From being weighed, BP taken and asked questions I was treated in a respectful and friendly way, very refreshing. The X-ray tech did a super job, helping me get into the correct positions for the shots while maintaining a very pleasant demeanor. Once back in the eval room my doctor gave me his take on the X-rays while forwarding them for more scrutiny. His earlier exam was thorough and hands on, something many doctors today omit. He was friendly, listened intently and provided excellent care. After being fitted for a medical boot I headed out into the Friday night circus. My husband took my daughter to urgent care on Saturday, 1/11/20, around 4pm. When my husband spoke with Dr. Jaojoco, he mentioned that my daughter has mold, cow milk, and egg allergies. Dr. Jaojoco prescribed my daughter amoxicillin (which contains mold) and when my husband mentioned this to the doctor, the doctor basically brushed it off as if my husband didn't know what he was talking about. So, as prescribed by Dr. Jaojoco, my husband and I have given amoxicillin to our daughter. Around 8pm Saturday night, my daughter had uncontrollable itching all over. We gave her what Dr. Jaojoco prescribed to stop her from itching, but it just got worse from there. Today, Monday 1/13/20, we took my daughter to her pediatrician. We told her pediatrician what my daughter's symptoms were and what medication was prescribed to her by Dr. Jaojoco and she immediately knew that it was the medication that she was taking that made my daughter itch from head to toe. My daughter's joints were itching and swollen. WAG KAYO PUMUNTA SA DOCTOR DITO, PERA LANG ANG GUSTO NILA. Dr. Jaojoco's malpractice could have resulted my daughter going into anaphylactic shock. read more

Both of my parents woke up sick and wanted to get checked. I'm currently on vacation visiting my parents. I lived in Las Vegas for 15 years and unfortunately I've had very unpleasant experiences over the years visiting UMC facilities. Lack of empathy, lack of professionalism, lack of urgency, and dismissive behavior. FORTUNATELY , this is not the case for this quick Care I was very thankful how professional the staff was . How kind and patient from the start of the visit with the front desk, the nursing staff and the doctor. My parents were seen by Dr. Eghterafi. Although my parents speak English, they're more comfortable speaking their native language, which is not the same as a doctors, but he does speak their language and was very kind to speak to them in Spanish. He was so patient explained everything very clearly with kindness and humor. he made my parents feel comfortable and cared for.He Allow them to speak and take their time explaining what they felt and what they needed. At no point did we feel rushed or dismissed. I would highly recommend this quick care. Hopefully this becomes a standard for all the other quick care facilities in the city. read more
