I came in at 8am as soon as they opened after not sleeping due to inflammation that's been ongoing for over a year after being administered a medication I'm allergic to along with whatever else I was exposed to. Its caused enough stress that it's made waiting for a reputable specialist not work for me and I needed more immediate care. The Asian male doctor listened to my concerns going on and was hesitant to jump to conclusions, however, he did do a diagnostic in-office rather than me waiting even longer for a specialist to do it. His patient 'Bedside Manner' was also comfortable and not awkward. The quickness and urgency is what I appreciate and so far this CareNow location has been more thorough than emergency departments in town to get to the source of ailment. The medical assistant was great as well.Made me feel at ease. The doctor was very kind and knew right away what was needed. I am so glad I live so close. I had a horrible experience today at CareNow in Southern Highlands. First, the receptionist, a middle aged woman, was very rude, and she left her desk without helping me at all with the check in process. Then the nurse, or whoever she was, was also very rude. This woman had curly hair and an accent. She had horrible bedside manners. The whole experience was very impersonal and cold. I go to this location because it's so close to home. While the nurses are very caring and kind and take into account all symptoms, the providers do not. Twice I've gone to ask for a specific type of swab test to test for specific infections, and twice the providers didn't do what I asked and prescribed me with incorrect antibiotics that made the infection worse. Honestly, I've been going to this place for years because it's just the closest place to home. But I think this was my last straw. I came in for saying I've had similar symptoms before. And last time they misdiagnosed me THREE times saying I just had "asthma". Brought my nurse mother with me the last time and FINALLY they did an xray and I was diagnosed with PNEUMONIA. Over the past couple months of them constantly saying asthma to me. Fast forward today, I'm coming in with the exact same symptoms, but they sent me home with BREATHING EXERCISES. I asked "what about my fever? What's causing that", they said "I don't know, just take Tylenol"????? Are we serious right now. The laziest group of doctors I've ever seen. Stay away from Care Now, after going in for an ear infection from a cold that resulted in 100% hearing loss in my left ear, vertigo, nasal & ear infection, and itching red eyes... the nurse came in and told me Doctor prescribed me cough syrup and eye drops... (the Doctor was to busy to tell me) I asked the a nurse, I don't need cough syrup or eye drops as I'm recovering from that already and should be fine in a few days, what about my ear? ...and the nurse said she would call me back to let me know about my ear... never received a phone call. I called the main number to complain and got a call back from the Doctor and she argued with me that there was nothing wrong with my ear. I responded that my hearing loss and vertigo was my imagination ? She got so defensive and said I should come back for another check up. Why do you can bill be and not listen to me tell you my symptoms? A friend told me to get Sudafed and in three days I'm regaining some of my hearing. Stay away from Care Now. This isn't how you treat patients. Absolutely disgusting attitude and behavior. If you don't like face to face interactions, or people in general, work some where that doesn't involve people. She cuts people off mid sentence, gives horrible instructions and is so monotone. Just moving to the Las Vegas area and I am 100% service connected veteran! Need to be seen right away, so let's get into it One of the things the VA system has done for veterans because of all the backlog waiting for appointments they allow service connected veterans to be able to be seen at approved urgent care facilities when necessary . because I do not have a primary care or established medical care yet I called three facilities and when I say they made it a difficult process asking for preapprovals authorization codes, even though I think some of them didn't know what they were talking about this facility made my visit extremely easy! When I called, they were very pleasant on the phone and were eager to help me get checked into the online portal, which basically puts you in a waiting queue much like a restaurant . fortunately for me this southern Highland location is only three minutes from my house. I checked in around 1:15 and I was seen by 1:46 pm. What was exceptionally nice is that they did not require me to have any pre-authorization they called and got everything approved and activated in less than 10 minutes. If you are a veteran, you will appreciate how easy they made this process . My visit with Dr was less than 15 minutes less than 30 minutes total including a prescription. The facility was clean. There were no weights. The staff were friendly and I would highly recommend this specific location. in addition to being seen, I noticed they had x-ray capabilities which all urgent cares do not necessarily facilitate. WORST CLINIC! We usually go to the one on Maryland and they actually care. I had to take my dad to the urgent care because both of his feet were swollen, mind you we went for this before at another location and they treated us. He could barely walk and they didn't ask if we needed a wheelchair, so I thought they didn't have one. So then we got seen he said he had to send us somewhere else to get an ultrasound on his feet and he cannot prescribe anything to us for his pain or inflammation. Also he said that the location he is sending us to was called an ER at lakes but is sending us to Las Vegas blvd since it's closer, but he said they work with them and is same company, said they weren't a real emergency room. So I was trying to understand that was protocol. As we were leaving the doctor (found out he was a NP, not doctor) told the nurse to give us a wheelchair in front of us and she asked us if we would like a wheelchair.... I tried paying no mind to it because she was a little foreign but just a little irritating that you seen us struggle to get inside and out and didn't care to ask if we needed one. I really thought they don't have wheelchairs there. ALSO as we checked out, she didn't hold the door for us for me to push him out the door, I had to say it out loud "so she's just not going to hold the door for us?" That another patient in the lobby had said they'll help us! But how do you expect me to push him out the door if that other patient wasn't there? I had obviously asked if we go to this new location, is the co pay going to the next since he wasn't treating us. He said he didn't know, which confused me because if they were the same company why would we have to do another co pay. We went to the ER on Las Vegas blvd, they got us in quick cause no one was there but I asked the nurse if it was a real ER because it looked exactly like one and because we were told it wasn't a real emergency room and that "it just has the ER in their name".. she got really upset and told the lead nurse and she came to talk to me and got information to call this urgent care. They spoke to the NP they sent us and told him off. The ER doctor immediately looked at my dad's feet and said it was gout (which we most likely knew it was) and just prescribed us medicine for it, didn't need ultrasound or anything. I definitely complained to the ER staff about our experience at care now urgent care and he said he dealt with them a few times and got complaints. He also looked at our papers and he's like he's not a doctor he's a Nurse practitioner. If the NP genuinely didn't know, he could've just told the other doctor that was in (I seen her) for advice or tell us he can give us a refund on our co pay. We had to pay $60 for him to do nothing and transfer us, and then ER $150!! For the ER to just give us medicine. Sometimes I get protocol, but my dad went to care now urgent care in Maryland and they treated him the same way as the ER did. WITH CARE! So now I am on the phone with customer service and asking for a refund, because we are not paying them for not treating us. The Nurse practitioners name was MARCUS ALLAN MERCADO and I didn't get the nurses name, but she was a little foreign, short curler hair I believe with glasses. He also gave us a little attitude since my dad wasn't understanding why he couldn't prescribe us medicine, then we got even more mad because that's exactly was ER did anyways. I mean, who would choose to wait for hours with other sick people, when you can just sit at home. Seriously, the best process ever. You check in online and they text you once you are scheduled to be seen. They also text you the link to fill out your medical forms so you can easily fill it out at the comfort of your home and upload your ID and insurance card online. Once I was ready to be seen, I received a text message and headed to Carenow. I met Dr. Robert Estelle's, FNP. He was quick and compassionate. While I understand it's the holidays and stressful especially for doctors, I think some of the doctors need some sort of training in how to talk to people. I came in for a sore throat and while I was there wanted to check a couple other quick things, and I was told I am "already giving her so much to do". Again, she's probably stressed and busy. I understand and tried to brush it off. Then when she prescribed me something, I wanted to make sure it didn't interact with psych meds I'm on. She then asked me "why would you be on that substance" when I just had a best friend take their own life and I'm experiencing extreme emotional trauma. I didn't catch her name nor do I want to get her in trouble, i don't think her words came from a place of hate, just wanted to say maybe be more careful with your words as you don't know what people are going through. read more

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get to see Dr. Robert Estreller, (again). He is a fabulous doctor. He is patient, caring, encouraging and listens to all your input. It is far and few in-between to find a doctor like this in this town and time time. Not only did he treat me for a basic illness yesterday, he took the time to listen to other issues I am having and offer advise. I simply can't speak high enough of this doctor. You fill in all the required insurance information and you don't have to do any paperwork when you get there. They send you a text when it's time to head over. And bam! Done. We've been here a handful of times and it's always been a great experience. I'm basing this review on my last visit. My daughter had a fever overnight and woke up with an awful sounding cough. Her pediatrician was closed since it was Memorial Day, so urgent care it was! I joined the waitlist from home first thing, and got a text about half an hour later saying it was time to head over. Once we got there, it was only a 10 minute wait. Soooo convenient!!!! Dr. Wagoner walked in and she was awesome. So kind and gentle with my daughter. CareNow was the best experience I could ask for when I needed to visit an urgent care. My visit was quick and the provider I saw was able to determine my issue. I called my doctor to get an appointment for an allergy/sinus related issue, but they were over two weeks out on appointments. They suggested I go to an urgent care. CareNow is a preferred urgent care with my insurance so I went with them. There are CareNow clinics all over town. I was planning to go to one by my house, but the site suggested this location as having a shorter wait. I love how their process significantly decreases the wait time. I checked in online and waited at home until I received a text that they were ready for me. During check in you let them know how long it'll take you to get there to help with this. I waited about an hour for my text, but was taken right back once I arrived at the office. The clinic was clean and all of the staff was friendly. The nurse practitioner I saw was knowledgeable about my allergy/sinus issue. She ruled out more serious problems and made suggestions for my issue. Being scared and stressed over the severe bleeding. When she arrived to CrapNow she was met with a P.A. who was rude , disrespectful, and disturbing on ALL LEVELS. Going to a doctor is not always a good experience after all if you are going is because you're sick. However, my family and I have been coming to this urgent care for two years and it is always pleasant because they make your experience go as smooth as possible. The doctors, PA, and nurses and very kind and provide a compassionate service/care. Diagnosis are correct, and they have a great time management; usually, it takes an 1hr. (average) since you get there until you are discharged. They have a great registration process in which you can register online and they will text you when it is time for you to arrive. This minimizes your wait time and exposure. Finally, the facilities are always very clean and waiting area is very spacious. Can't recommend enough! read more

He explained in detail what was going on with my infection, and the stages that was gonna happen, he prescribed the correct meds ( 2 Strong Antibiotics, and a topical antibiotic ointment) worked like a charm! All the times I visited, the wait is ridiculous even when I put myself on the waitlist online and come when they notify me they're ready to see me. They still make me wait long in the clinic. She was even like, "well what do you want me to do about it?" after telling her my symptoms had subsided while I was waiting (again, the wait was pretty long plus I took different OTC medicines to help so maybe they kicked in by that time). I thought that was so unprofessional and rude to say. - THE DOCTOR WAS RUDE TOO. Okay, the doctor is actually nice in general and he is pleasant to be around. But this time, he also made me feel like I was lying about my symptoms? He gave me this speech about how he had a patient who said he had something crawling under his skin when there was nothing but that he trusted what the patient was saying anyway... he reassured me that he trusts his patients.. but then why was it necessary to assure me they he did and made that speech if he actually, REALLY trusted me. Does he say this to all his patients or was it a speech specifically for me? I DID NOT LIE ABOUT MY SYMPTOMS. I'm disappointed that they would even suggest that.
