I literally sped the whole way there to make it on time as I didn't want my kids feeling horrible on Easter. when we arrived the front desk lady was on her personal phone talking and didn't even help check us in or ask if I needed help, just kept talking on her cell phone. When We got called back to the room by the nurse I asked her do they close early for Easter, she said no we close at the same time as always, 9pm. when the dr came in i asked the same question. She told me they never close early no matter what holiday or day it is and they always are happy to see any patient Within their business hours. i had never seen this particular front desk lady there before But she made our experience there not pleasant which is sad because I love this office any other time. I never come on here and write reviews and I understand people have bad days but this was beyond that...

    This place was recommended to me by a trusted source while I was extremely ill, so I went to seek…read morecare. I had numerous symptoms (high fever, enflamed lymph nodes, sore muscles, slight ear muffling, dehydration, etc) and Ryan the PA who saw me did not run any tests, but just looked in my ear, said I had an ear infection, and prescribed me amoxicillin. I didn't have any ear pain and it didn't explain my other symptoms, but I'm not a doctor so I trusted his expert opinion. I began taking my antibiotic same day, but two days passed and I saw zero improvement and my symptoms actually got worse. I decided I needed to return to urgent care since I was clearly misdiagnosed at my first visit. At the second visit, I told Megan the NP (she's great) my symptoms and she looked in my throat and immediately knew it was mono. She ran tests to confirm and I did indeed have mono. She switched my antibiotic -- which turns out I didn't need, but she did not want to stop mid-antibiotic treatment so I wouldn't build resistance -- because she said taking amoxicillin when I have mono could cause a rash. I had already taken amoxicillin for those two days between my two visits, and switched to the new antibiotic. A week later, I developed a full body rash that lasted for 14 days, all due to an antibiotic that I did not need because of a MISDIAGNOSIS at my first visit. I never had an ear infection, did not need amoxicillin, but because of a careless PA and a misdiagnosis, I took the antibiotic i didn't need and had to pay for a useless visit and physically suffer through a full body rash caused by the amoxicillin taken while infected with mono. Now rapid med is taking ZERO accountability, and will not refund me for my first visit because they said the care I received at my first visit was "appropriate". I didn't realize they consider misdiagnoses and prescribing medicine that then causes unnecessary suffering appropriate care, or else I never would have gone here in the first place. They are careless and lack accountability, and just want to get you in and out of the door, regardless of whether they actually treat your illness or not. $450 later after two visits wasted due to a misdiagnosis the first time around.

The office has beautiful murals of animals and is kid friendly. 2. They have an excellent "fever myth" manual. Very useful. Cons 1. Doctor wanted to do a flu test and said she'll recommend tami flu. However, even the CDC doesn't recommend this for infants under 1 unless its an emergency. We checked with our pediatrician about this and she was shocked that Tami flu was recommended by the doctor at Acute Kids Urgent Care. 2. The excellent Fever Myth manual is not followed by the doctor/techs on call. They seem to be doing exactly the opposite. For example, it says that treating infants with medication is not useful. And that fever will subside gradually. However the doctor on call, Dr W**ch said that if it were here baby she would start on the medication right now.... thank god its not her baby. 3. Doctor was impatient and unreceptive to our questions. 4. Its hurried as if everyone wants to get you to shut up and leave. Really felt like we were in an assembly line there. 5. Doctor and tech's attitude were unfriendly and very clinical. Not one smile or kind word during our hour there. They clearly didn't care about us or our baby, just wanted to get us to do some tests and move onto the next kid. Cons far outweigh the positives. Unless you have no other choice, pl avoid this place.

Within 5 minutes, we were taken back to an exam room and the tech took her vitals, asked about her symptoms, then took a throat swab. A few minutes later the doctor came in and confirmed she had strep throat. Since my pharmacy was closing within the hour, the doctor sent over the prescription electronically so we could be ready to pick up on our way home. They also sent paperwork to my pediatrician so I will have the diagnosis on file. My daughter was delighted when the nurse brought her a Popsicle before we left. No problems with my insurance and we were in and out within 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend this place to friends for weekend or after hour emergencies.

You would think the least they would do would be return the copay since they misread the x-ray and my 1 year old son was in critical condition by the time I got him to the ER after the doctor at this urgent care assured me he was fine and made me feel "overbearing" for wanting further research done on his condition and being adimate my son didn't seem okay. Hours later they are struggling to stablilize his oxygen levels and he has to be transported via ambulance to cooks Fort Worth for pneumonia, after they had already done an X-ray at this doctors office and told me he was fine. ***UPDATE: I finally reached someone who listened to our experiences and they offered a refund "that would be mailed to me" I got a letter from them and opened it expecting a refund check And to my suprise then changed their minds and sent me a letter to inform me of that after agreeing to one over the phone. it's impossible to reach anyone at this office who can help and I've spent hours on the phone. I am fuming! I don't want to waste any more time at this point I'm never going to visit again and wanted to share my experience so no one goes thru the same! Aweful customer service at the very least, regardless of the terrible malpractice and misdiagnosis.

My partner came in for a visit today around 3:30pm to receive immediate attention for an extremely severe headache that had been persistent for a few days now. There was a technical error with the system with finding her insurance to verify if there was a deductible or co-payment. This took some time but we were able to see the nurse while we figured things out. Amanda seemed to have been informed of the insurance situation and wasn't too fond of that. Thats my personal observation. My partner is not fond of doctor's visits due to past experiences and struggles with overstimulation when uncomfortable or under distress as she is diagnosed autistic. Amanda came into the doctors office and asked my partner the reason for her visit. Hearing "headache" and multiple issues seemed to be triggering for her because she immediately interrupted my partner with an aggressive tone. She stated "okay stop...you have alot of issues going on. Thats not something that we can handle here. We are a urgent care facility. You have a headache? I can give you some pills for the headache but you will need to see a primary care doctor to handle everything else. Im not sure what's going on with your insurance. Maybe you owe them money or something or whatever. You come here for a headache? If you dont have good insurance, it can be very expensive to come here when you can just see a primary doctor. You work security?? Thats not good you work security and have all of these problems. You can black out when your supposed to be protecting people. Would you like a doctors note? Are you planning to go to work tomorrow?" Everything was stated in a tone coated in frustration and aggression. Im certain the other staff could hear her as well. My partner barely got a word in to explain anything. Due to being overwhelmed by Amanda's tone and disposition, my partner shut down and needed a minute to think about whether or not she wanted to call off for work the next day which lasted approximately 3 seconds...Amanda got out of her chair at this point and went to the patient chair and started tapping her fingers rapidly against it as if she was losing her patience with my partner. My partner stated that she would like a note stating she visited today and took a prescription for ibuprofen. I want to make note that we are POC and came straight from work to visit today. The things she stated struck me as she did not believe we actually had insurance at all and were lying about the issue we were having. She stated things that insinuated that we didnt have money and that we were incompetent. Also, her impatience led us to believe she felt as if we wasted HER time and not so much that she was worried about the fact we may have wasted ours...I was so uncomfortable with this visit that I could not WAIT to write this review. The assistant returned once she left and seemed to be trying her best to uplift us with her warm spirit as im sure she overheard most of the interaction. I believe the receptionist is Rhonda and the assistant was Jada! THANK YOU TWO! P.S...she never gave us the doctor's note. Ive read so many reviews similar to our experience that it is clear SOMEONE needs to be removed.

The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

I've never had a bad experience…read more Getting in touch with someone on the phone can be frustrating for those that are not technically inclined. But if you use the Healow app, the docs are pretty quick to respond plus your care needs are documented. I started using Bridlewood, Dr. Glaser and his staff because the last office I was at didn't listen to me. I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. So when I first started with Bridlewood, Michelle Hampton heard me and started me on my way to finding what worked. I was sad to lose Victoria Thomas but it was an easy transition back to Michelle and they really do care. I have trouble with getting medication but that's due to my insurance not the office. Michelle and her team have been in constant communication with me and are eager to help where they can. I've had nothing but a pleasant and stress free experience working with the Bridlewood staff. My one complaint would be that I never got an Amazon gift card!
