I was looking for a local urgent care open on Sundays and I came here because of the reviews, I am…read moreSO glad I did. I was dealing with respiratory infection and they got me in right away, ran tests upon my approval, and I was in and out in under an hour. The entire staff was incredibly kind from the front desk, to the nurse, to the PA. They were thorough and very helpful. All in all a wonderful experience when you're already not feeling your best. I also found out if you do not use your insurance/if you go out of network with them, it is a $205 flat rate but that includes any tests they run there at the office, medicine they provide you there, and any examinations there as well. I know some may be cheaper but when you factor in extra tests and things the bill can typically add up fast. Overall I would highly recommend. Very clean and well kept also!

I figured it was drainage from allergies, but I wanted to make sure because it wasn't going away I was unsure if it would be strep or not so we went ahead and called our insurance. They said we could go to Texas health breeze urgent we walked in and we were seen immediately. Everyone was super friendly. We were in and out of there within 30 minutes. Kind, professional, and understanding. Thank you so much!

Last week I took my son here. You pay the few after checking in and before being seen. The provider…read morecame in the room to tell me that they couldn't treat my son there and recommended we go to the ER. I requested a refund because they were not able to treat him. The doctor apologized and the receptionist gave me the number to the billing department. Apparently, if the doctor walks in the room it is considered a visit, even if they do nothing. I've disputed this with them as much as I can and they're considering her recommendation to go to the ER as an evaluation despite her offering no treatment. I would understand if she needed to check out my child to conclude they can't help, but she walked in the room and said there was nothing they could do immediately. Please don't use this facility. This lack of transparency is not good business practices. This place is a scam.

My 6 month old caught croup from his older brothers and I noticed he was having stridor while…read moresleeping, which wasn't improving with the cool air outside or a steamy bathroom. I didn't notice any chest retractions though and wasn't confident that I wasn't missing some, so I wanted to get a second opinion from a doctor. I scheduled an appointment at Little Spurs, assuming that since I scheduled an appointment and was not a walk-in, I would get seen close to the time that the appointment was scheduled. I showed up shortly before the 7pm appointment time, but I was not called back until 8:30pm. No one walked into the clinic since I arrived and only four families were called back before me. The receptionist said they were behind, when I asked if scheduled appointments were prioritized over walk-in's, she explained that normally that was the case, but they couldn't keep people waiting who had been there so long. I wish I remembered the name of the nurse that night (12/18/25) because she was wonderful. I would give her 5 stars all around. My little guy was whimpering and grunting, having trouble swallowing and clearly uncomfortable when I laid him on the scale to get weighed and she checked his pulse and heart rate, but she was cheerful and sweet, talking to him as she checked his vitals. I'm sure it had been a long evening for the nurse already (by the time she saw me, they were 30 min past closing time), but she was so kind in her interactions with me and with my little guy, and I'm very grateful for that. I noticed his oxygen levels started at 93% and dropped from 91% to 87%, finally leveling off at 84%. I asked her about it and she explained that she was watching the reading and that the numbers that mattered were the ones that came with the consistent waves. I asked if he was having chest retractions and she pointed out that he was, but she didn't panic. She walked us back to a room and went to talk to the doctor. Within a minute the doctor came back with her. The doctor was pretty sharp in her tone, saying something about not messing around when she walked in and something about the kind of medicine they give in the ER for croup. She glanced at the pulse oximeter while the nurse re-checked my baby's oxygen levels and pointed at his chest, but never examined him. The doctor said she had been an ER doctor before she came here and that I needed to either get in my car right away and drive to Dallas Children's (13 min away) or she could call an ambulance and he could have oxygen on the way, but that I needed to go....that if he was doing this poorly on day 1 with croup, things were only going to get worse. I didn't feel like I had a chance to ask her questions before she left the room. It all happened so fast after such a long wait in the waiting room, that I was still trying to understand what was going on. Why, if I came in with a child who was struggling to breathe, did no one check him right when I came in? And how come they couldn't treat him there if he just needed a breathing treatment ( a steroid to decrease the inflammation in his airways)? The nurse was very kind in explaining that while they did have oxygen on hand (and maybe steroids for breathing - I can't remember), the ER would administer a breathing treatment and then observe him for a couple hours, which would be safer because croup gets worse at night and if he needed more than one treatment, they could give him that. I don't know if things would have been different if I had needed to be there for the same reason in the morning and they had had time to administer the medicine and keep an eye on him for several hours because it wasn't past closing time, but overall (other than from being really grateful the calm, cheerful nurse), I had a bad taste in my mouth after this experience at Little Spurs. We should have been seen much sooner (which the nurse apologized for), and the doctor did not have good bedside manners. Even if something needed to be done abruptly, she could have been more kind / less sharp. Price wise, if you need to see a doctor after normal doctor hours and you don't have an ER-worthy emergency, this office is very reasonable ($145 with insurance for us; $175 without). The waiting room walls had a pretty mural for kids, so that was nice to look at while waiting. If your child has stridor while at rest, even if he or she is not physically straining to breathe (having chest or neck retractions and gasping for air), go straight to Children's Hospital in Dallas.
