I visited this urgent care and unfortunately had a pretty frustrating experience. I ended up waiting about three hours, and a lot of that was because I was apparently left out of the line. The staff member, I believe her name was Boquisha, told me that she thought I had left, even though I hadn't moved. And after I was supposedly put back in line to be next, several other people kept getting called ahead of me. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience and I hope they can improve their patient management in the future. read more

My experience was a joke. Receptionist reviewed my paper work and checked me in. The whole time I have staff rolling their eyes because they were about to close and didn't want to take another patient. After being checked in I got called to the front to say they could not complete my service and I'd have to come back. Overall the staff was not welcoming and just lazy. I was seen by Neelima Chirumamilla M.D. who has prefilled out forms that state "go back to work". Upon coming there I could barely walk and she dismissed my pain until I insisted this is when she contacted Baylor and got my emergency room records. Then she still said although you cannot walk unassisted or drive or talk, go back to work and sit there for 8 hours. She is awful and very dismissive of whatever ails you. read more

The front staff employee by the name of Crystal G. did not type in my number properly for me to receive the intake screening on my phone which delayed the process of completing my screening along with delay in my care! My wife had to come here because of a work related injury. We had to wait for over 4 hours. You can tell how these companies work in favor of big companies. Even though my wife's job requires her to work door to door, the doctor made a note that she could go back to work the next day regardless of her injury, the pain she was in and the fact that she was under medications and would have to drive a vehicle. Staff at the counter was nice and polite. Medical Assistant was very nice and professional. Newer facility, updated specimen containers, everything is processed electronic. I've read some reviews on here and I don't think people understand what the "URGENT" in urgent care means. URGENT in this case means not an emergency, has nothing to do with time. I've been to many urgent cares and this is on par or better than most. I've been there for work injury, work drug screens and when I was having a sore throat. I was surprised during my drug screen visit because they got me in and out with in 15 min. I asked why I was called before some of the people that were here before me and the guy said it's was bc I didn't have to see and doctor and that's where the wait usually comes from. I went to this care center to get a chest xray two days ago from a referral since I had a bad cold and they thought I might have pneumonia. There were 5 people in the waiting area. 2 1/2 hours later I was done. When I mentioned the long wait the PA apologized and said I came during lunch time. People with common names are confused when they only call the first name which is common sense for most Dr office emergency rooms urgent cares etc. if you can go somewhere else I'd suggest so. I just moved from KS to Irving, TX last week. I suffered from sore throat, fever and headache. Went there on the Memorial day, good thing they were open but since they couldn't verify my health insurance which i got from my university, I was told to come back the next day or else I have to pay $170, which I understood and left. I went there today. Even though they already had my paperwork and everything, i waited over 2 hours. I endured the sore throat, fever, weakness and headache. I cannot even talk properly due to extreme sore throat pain. Anywayz, after 2 hours, my name was called. As soon as I walked in the door, the male nurse told me that I came in a bad time and they dont have enough staffs at that time. I have to wait 1 more hour since they dont have any more rooms. At this point I just told them that I dont need their "URGENT" care. I wonder if they even know what "URGENT CARE" is. Even though I had an e pass they lost half of my things. I had to wait over an hour for a urine drug screen and blood work. The patients that were here for actual physicals, injuries, and illness were told they would have a 3 hour minimal wait and they didn't even have that many people in their lobby. More to come! Update: Britney from the office started a dialog with me to try to resolve the problem. In the midst of our dialogs, she stopped responding. Imagine going to a car dealership, paying cash for your car, and being told you owned them more money 3 weeks later. That's exactly how they run their business. I paid the office visit, which was a little over $100 ( more than twice as much as CVS). The my bill says the office visit was $315. And the culture for my throat was also extra. So even though I paid in full what they asked, and checked out after the fact, I still have an outstanding balance. The only thing URGENT about CONCENTRA URGENT CARE is they will process your co-payment URGENTLY. After that they forget about you. I went there this afternoon with a laceration on my thumb - stitches maybe needed, don't know cause I was never seen by a doctor - paid my co-payment ($100) within the first 7 minutes I was there, and then I was sent to wait to be seen by a doctor. Some 40 minutes later, I walked out! Horrible service, they care about nothing except taking your money. DO NOT GOTO CONCENTRA URGENT CARE. TELL YOUR EMPLOYER HR OFFICE NOT TO USE CONCENTRA. 2 hour wait, $100 dollar copay even with insurance, and left with nothing but a referral to another doctor despite extreme pain. Clean friendly office though, guess that's a perk. I went in because I was having extreme feminine cycle issues (ie. excrutiating cramping, back/spinal pain, migraine & violent vomiting). I thought urgent care was the better option over E.R. because I knew I wasn't dying - I was just in so much pain I couldn't see straight. I waited for 75 minutes after signing in when they finally called me over to pay - $100 stinking dollars even after my insurance. I had hear that Concentra can be a bit spendy, but never did I think it would be that bad for an urgent care visit! And then, when I finally did see a doctor 20 minutes later -- he was incredibly uncomfortable with even talking about feminine organs, monthly cycles, etc. He had me do a urine test, and when the results came back negative for anything he just handed me a sticky note with 3 names on it to schedule an OBGYN appointment without addressing my symptoms: extreme pain all over my body and nausea. Overall, I was really frustrated with my experience. I felt like it was a waste of money and time, particularly because I just ended up being sick and in pain in a waiting room instead of slightly more comfortably in my own home if I wasn't going to get any relief. It was WAY too expensive to justify the visit. And I would totally skip having gone in retrospect, if given the chance. AVOID coming here for anything other that physical therapy at ALL COSTS. read more

I asked to use the rest room and was told that I am not allowed and I would have to wait. I came here while having a stroke. Of course all I knew was I needed to see a doctor. I asked if they could immediately check my blood pressure as my head felt like it was about to explode. For some people that is a long wait, but when you go to your PCP it's just as long, and since I am a MA I know what all goes on behind the scenes so I didn't mind. I would like to address the fact that this is a horrible visit for me I came for a simple drug test and hearing test but turned out to be a 4 to 5 hour wait that should been 30 or 45 minutes and when I quickly go out to grab me something to snack on and comeback I am given a call telling me Trevor we called your name where are you and I'm litterly a couple of feet or not inches away from the door soon as I approach the door and let them no it's me they informing me that wow you where outside the door and I said I told you on the phone I was outside, after we got the cleared still had to wait a additional 10 to 15 min worst doctor experience if up to me would give this a no review just a don't come here no more if your health is on the line because if your toe or any body part was finna come off due to a serious injury you be out of luck probably have you wait 5 hr like me and bleed out. read more

I'm not sure how this place has an almost 5 star rating on google. Front desk staff is absolutely terrible. I am usually very patient but they all seem pretty incompetent. Not nice, no customer service and after I completed 3 pages worth of paperwork, I tried to go sit down twice as she typed ALL of it into system and she refused saying "no, no, I'm checking you in now" After I waited for her to type literally everything in and finally got to sit down, I wasn't called for nearly a hour, which I understand, it's urgent care. But why send me into a room if I'm not going to be seen by a doctor for another hour/hour and a half? I had an injury I got from work on my finger and the skin was broken. Before they put a stint on, they soaked my finger in what I assume was hydrogen peroxide and after it's been soaked, I notice a short black hair in the bowl. I asked to be sent to a different concentra since I absolutely had to come back for a follow up appointment and they said no. The lady offered me a time and a date for the follow up and I told her I had to work, and she acted as if I inconvenienced her. I will never ever return to this place after this mandatory follow up. This was my first visit to Concentra Las Colinas. It was also my last. I have never - EVER - been treated so rudely (esp. by a medical professional) in my entire life. This was one of three referrals from my insurance company. I made a point to call all three places to confirm insurance acceptance (cause you never know), exact location, and hours open. I chose Concenetra because of the person I spoke with on the phone - she was very nice, friendly, and jovial. I arrived just after 7:30 pm on a Friday - to be seen for a UTI. When I walked in the place was empty of patients. I asked if I was too late and did I need to come back tomorrow. I was told, very friendly, that it was fine.... and to come on in. I filled out the paperwork, and waited just a minute or two to be called back. That's where the friendliness ended. I don't know if he was a nurse or a medical tech, but he was the rudest and most unpleasant and unprofessional one I have ever had the displeasure to encounter. He made disgusted looks, rolled his eyes, and heaved heavy sighs the entire time he took my vitals and typed in pertinent info into the computer in the exam room. It was so bad that I felt obliged to ask him, "is this a problem for you?" He wasn't facing me at the time so I don't know if he made a face or not, but he did not even acknowledge that I had said anything. And I didn't whisper it. And it didn't stop his attitude. It is disgraceful that a patient was treated like this. And it's absurd that a paying customer was treated like this. A mangy dog would have been treated better. The doctor's bedside manor left something to be desired, but at least she wasn't quite as rude as he was. The nice, friendly, and accommodating attitude from the person at the front desk does NOT make up for the horrendous visit I had at this clinic. I have already shared this experience with family and some of my friends and I will be sharing it with as many people as I can. As I stated, I arrived at the clinic at 7:35 pm and they closed at 8. Since there were no other patients there - and the person at the front desk was wiping the counter down with some sort of strong smelling cleansing agent - I began to assume they were trying to get out of there early or at least as close to closing as possible. If they hadn't wanted a patient that close to closing, they should have said so when I walked in. I can only assume this would be the reason the male nurse/medical tech was so awful and the doctor was less than friendly. I don't know if this is a company problem or a local clinic problem, but my recommendation - stay far, far away from Concentra Las Colinas. read more

DO NOT GO HERE I was forced to go here because of a workers comp injury where I was bittin by a dog at work. I was actively bleeding and I let them know that. THEY GAVE ME A PAPER TOWEL. I have to wait 4 hours for any kind of care. No one there cares at all. They are all rude with no care or regardes for anyone they see. After I waited an excruiciating 4 hours I went and sat in a room about another 45 minutes only for a "doctor" to come in and tell me that dogs are dangerous and it was pretty much my fault and then she gave me a bandaid and told me I was fine. She basically told me how to do my job. I know how to do my job, apparently you can't do yours. She then had the nurse come in and wrap my hand which was a pisspoor job. as soon as I walked out of the place the bandages fell off. I was able to clean the wound and wrap it ten times better than they were. I'm sure if I were to leave it the way they did I'd get an infection ten times better. I don't know if I have to go back for my follow up but i'm Considering justskipping it i'm better off. Waste of my time and not work workers comp paying for everything. read more

The wait here is ridiculous, the first time I came for a burn I had to wait over 45 minutes to see a doctor. Both follow up appointments had the same wait time even though they were scheduled in advance. It's supposed to be urgent care but there is nothing urgent about the care you receive here. The blonde woman at the front desk was extremely rude. When I told her the reason for my visit, she told me "I don't even think we do that here...let me check, have a seat and don't sign in". I thought she misunderstood because they indefinitely do treat this common problem and expounded upon my condition- she completely ignored me. I took a seat and she never checked with anyone in the back. She continued working at her desk and never got back with me- never even got my name. I sat there for 15 minutes before I left and got treated at an urgent care 8 miles away. I work in health care and that experience was downright despicable. read more
