If you go to Trocadéro to see the Eiffel Tower from above. This is the place to go beforehand for breakfast or afternoon tea. There will be a long line if you do not mind waiting also you do not have to mind people smoking around you. If you sit outside, you will be people watching and it's very interesting. Service is a bear. However, the coffee hot chocolate, the food is good. I love their coffee and hot chocolate with the whip cream. I always order the club sandwich, which is big and they can be shared. Their finger sandwiches are the best however, you will pray twice or triple as much. If you order it inside the restaurant but it's a good buy if you're going away on plane (which I always do, if an afternoon flight ) or a train ride to somewhere to snack on or simply having a picnic somewhere. Sometimes the scrambled eggs be a runny or under cooked which is not agreeable to the American palette, tell them you do not want it runny, They may look at you funny, but that's French for you. The chocolate was so rich and tasted sweeter with the whipped cream stirred in. My daughter and I had a very nice dinner there with great service. The best part of the night was we accidentally left our bag full of souvenirs behind and headed back to the hotel.
