We ended up ordering croissants, a crêpe: traditional lemon and sugar and I had to order one of the little half individually wrapped finger sandwiches 2 Euro/ea (would be cute for a picnic) in the flavor of egg salad which okay- nothing special but was craving protein. I love almond croissants so had to try one- It was a little flat and eggy and wish I just got a classic croissant which seemed like perfection. There were a lot of other things to try on the menu but I it was very hard to decide and I kind of wanted to just try the most classic items to see the baseline of how delicious this bakery was. Once I was inside and saw the glass window of sweets it made me wish I had another time to come back and try these other items and maybe also just lunch or a salad. Five Stars for the exceptional Chocolat Viennois, I have ever had in my life! Like an elixir of pleasure accompanied by the dreamiest chantilly cream except the cream came ahead and the hot chocolate didn't come until I flagged a different wait staff. Instagram and Reviews led me here with my girlfriend, the brunch was good. Definitely want to come here earlier than later as the line does start to fill up. It's across the main viewing point of the Eiffel Tower which is very touristy and huge crowds. If you are thinking tea room, like English tea, this is not the place. It's much more a cafe, lots of tables very closely together and very crowded. the service is efficient, helpful and attentive. Ordered the croquet monsieur. It was ok, though as it was my first one I didn't know what exactly to expect. the scrambled eggs are on the runny side. Personally I like them like that, made with butter and cream to give it that softness, creaminess and richness. However if traveling with kids and ordering scrambled eggs, that may be an adjustment. The smaller macaroons are best as the ratio of macroon and filling is perfect. the large macaroon is available in 3 flavors (chocolate, vanilla and salted butter caramel) though as it's almost 4x larger than the small one, there's a lot of filling (for us the proportion was off and it was too much). The cream puffs (sorry I can't recall the exact name) is both light and airy as well as rich, creamy and luscious thanks to the custard inside.That was one of the best pastries ever. Lastly is the macaroon/meringue filled with raspberry jam, pistachio cream and fresh raspberries. Winner!!!! It was light, fruity and just perfect to cap off the meal. this is one of the more expensive cafes, eg: champagne was 20 euro each where in most other places it was anywhere between 7-13 euros.
