If you think a distillery in a mall outlet is weird, you're right but don't let that deter you! I found this place online and took my crew to check it out for a tasting & tour. Orlando was our bartender and tour guide! We got to try a bunch of the flavors and got back story on how it got it's name. Then we got a cocktail, a tour, and a bottle to take home. The owner Kevin was around and gave us a quick rundown of the companies' history. The tour was cool because, if you've been to a regular distillery, seeing how caribbean moonshine makes things work in a smaller space was interesting. Well worth the price.

GREAT tour & tasting of their rum lineup! Small place with very friendly staff. Autumn was our guide and she was both nice and knowledgeable about their history, the rums, and their bottling process and equipment. DEFINITELY worth taking the time to see & do and in my estimation, *very* reasonably priced for what you get.

Angelique explaining what's about to go down!! And recommended places to eat afterwards!

This was a whole VIBE!! Angelique was very knowledgeable about each drink. She brought over this giant pretzel with an amazing spicy cheese sauce and mustard which prepared us for the actual mixing of our drinks. Chianne came over and made pirate commentary at all the right times. Mack also joined in on the fun and brought it all together. This experience was beyond what we expected and they were very laid back and did all they could to make you feel comfortable. Thank you all so much for a start to our Girls Trip. Must do again!!

My friend Nick and I just went to the Carribean Moonshine distillery and it was awesome. They've got a special where it's 6 tastings for 5. I doubled up on banana and Orange Marmalade. Orlando was our tasting guide; he shared the history of the company and how they came to be. This is a must do; they also do tours and ratings. The service Orlando provided was top notch. If you haven't been here I definitely recommend it. The ambiance has great AC and a beachy open air concept. 10/10

We had moonshine tasting, 7 tasting for $5. They give the history on how each one got its name which is pretty cool, they make it and bottle it right at the location. The workers are very friendly. It was my 2nd time there I will continue to stop in when in Orlando. They also have mix drinks for purchase. They are a new company I think they said about 1yr and half old.

It looks so small on the outside but it's a big establishment. Based on aesthetics it looks really amazing. Our bartender was really nice and charismatic, talking to everyone at the bar table. My girlfriend loved the smokiness of their drink and I liked my espresso martini. They weren't too strong, and a bit on the pricier side. It wasn't one of the best espresso martinis I've had, but decently tasty.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to…read moreshare it. From the moment we arrived, we felt unfairly judged. As the hostess walked away from our table, she commented that our group was going to be "nothing but a problem." The basis for that assumption? One member of our party had simply helped clear and organize the table to make the seating process easier and faster for the staff. Yes, we were a lively group. We were on vacation, having a great time at Disney, laughing and enjoying each other's company. What we were not was intoxicated. The situation escalated when one of our friends was accused of being drunk and our entire party of 10 was asked to leave. The problem is that she wasn't intoxicated at all. What makes this especially troubling is that our friend has worked incredibly hard to maintain her sobriety and recently celebrated 12 months alcohol-free through AA. To be publicly accused of being drunk after reaching such a significant milestone was humiliating, heartbreaking, and completely unnecessary. When we brought our concerns to the General Manager, Scott, we expected leadership. We expected someone who would take a moment to assess the situation, listen to both sides, and use his own judgment. Instead, he simply stated that he trusted his employees and made no effort to independently evaluate what had happened. A manager's job isn't to blindly accept accusations. A manager's job is to gather facts, assess the situation, and make informed decisions. In this case, Scott failed to do that. As a result, the restaurant lost a party of 10 customers. More importantly, they deeply hurt someone who has spent the last year fighting for her sobriety. That's the part of this experience we won't forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Great restaurants acknowledge them, learn from them, and treat people with dignity. Unfortunately, this experience was defined by assumptions, poor judgment, and a complete lack of empathy from both the staff and management.

My favorite was the chicken wings and of course the Coctails. There was attention to detail on everything. Pretti our server knew her spirits and had great recommendations. The cocktails and bar on the first (2nd technically) floor was really great and affords you some great views. The lower level is where all the dining and live music happens and it is well done as well. Where things get mixed is the food. We had the gigantic pretzel, corn bread and biscuits, two Edison Burgers, the PBB sandwich, and our table mates ordered the steak and salmon. In general the burgers were good, though one of ours was missing half the bottom bun and the rest of the bun was really stale, and the sandwich lacked flavor and was a bit one note. Our dinner guests mentioned the steak was really good but the salmon was just okay. Our waiter Garret was pretty good, it wasn't overly busy but he did seem to struggle just a bit keeping up with his tables and there were times when we had to reach out to passing staff for silverware or refills. But, in general it was an okay time. In the future I'd probably skip the food and stick to drinks and enjoying the atmosphere.

Looking at the menu I was bit surprised they did not have more signature drinks on the menu, mainly mojitos, but then realized this is a Latin speakeasy, with music playing to match. Once I had my coconut mojito I was very pleased. They really do know how to make them. They also have a full bar so anything you want they can make, The bartender and servers were super nice and friendly, and they worked quick to get all drinks out. They also had some food, that looked delicious, and hope I get the chance to come back to try some. After seating in the lounge/ speakeasy area for a while, we moved to the bar for a last drink. The bartender said Espresso Martinis were her specialty so we order those. She was not lying, one of the best we've had.

The services was good and the empanadas were tasty (little greasy) Drinks were yummy... The old fashion was presented in a box while it was being smoked, very cool concept. Overall I dig the concept and I was glad to check it out since I was in the Kissimmee area.

5/5 Stars -- Outstanding late-night dinner!…read more Susuru delivered another incredible experience on our second visit! We came in for a late dinner around 9:00 PM and were pleasantly surprised--the initial 30-minute estimated wait turned into getting seated in just 10 to 15 minutes. Service was top-notch from start to finish, and the food was simply delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection with so much depth and flavor in every single bite. We kicked off the meal with an appetizer spread of Chicken Karaage, Truffle Sesame Tuna, and Tempura Fried King Oyster Mushrooms--all executed wonderfully. For my main, I went with the Susuru Chashu Gohan mini bowl along with the Short Ribs and Skirt Steak. For me, it was the absolute ideal balance of protein and carbs, and every piece of meat was insanely flavorful. You cannot leave without dessert: the Matcha Tiramisu. Wow. Rich, decadent, and genuinely one of the best and most unique tiramisus I've ever tasted. Make sure you leave room to end your meal with it! The rest of my family loved their meals just as much. We first came here a few years ago and knew we had to make it back on this trip. Susuru remains a MUST-visit in Orlando!

Judging by the line that had already formed 15 minutes before they even unlocked the doors, I wasn't the only one with that idea. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've stumbled into a tiny neighborhood izakaya in Tokyo. Paper lanterns, Japanese signs covering the walls, colorful vintage décor, wooden stools that politely remind you to finish eating instead of lingering for three hours--it all adds to the charm. It's casual, lively, and full of personality. The menu has plenty to explore, but I came for the yakitori. Since everything is ordered à la carte, I built my own assortment of skewers, and every single one was grilled beautifully over charcoal. The meats were juicy, the vegetables had that perfect smoky char, and the chimichurri-style dipping sauce they served alongside was something I found myself dipping absolutely everything into. Yes, ordering several skewers can add up faster than your Lightning Lane budget, but the quality absolutely justifies it. Sometimes simple food, done exceptionally well, is worth every penny. If you're near Disney and craving authentic Japanese comfort food instead of another theme park burger, put Susuru on your list. Just do yourself a favor and arrive early... unless standing in line is your favorite Disney ride. 5/5 - I'll happily be back for another round of skewers.

This place is always packed, and for good reason as the food is legit, the cocktail list is solid, and they somehow keep the line moving even when it's slammed so props for that. We went with the Butcher Board, which is listed as serving 2 but easily fed our entire family of four including my wife and our kiddos which makes it a great value for what you get. The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered. I get it as it's how they manage flow but if you don't know the rule going in, it feels a little abrupt when you're just trying to wrangle your family in a crowded dining room. Overall, The Polite Pig is a clutch spot. We will be back!
