They opened the pool for me last month and I noticed small air bubbles coming from one of the returns, long story short I turned the pool off last night and had several gallons of water shooting up from the skimmer in the deep end and heard a hissing sound. I tried restarting the pool and it took a little more time to clear out the bubbles through the sight glass but it did. I called this morning and stated I would like to have it checked out before something goes really bad. I told the girl on the phone I could make the problem happen, just by turning the pool off and they would see it and hear the issue. I know they are busy we always have to wait a long time. I am not rude, just asking if it is safe to use because they won't look at it for two weeks. I am 7 miles from them and they said two weeks. During the process of building the pool, I had to wait days of ,well he's on vacation, or someone called in sick and so on. This could end up costing thousands to repair. Even though they charge more for chemicals than you can get on the internet, you will actually spend less money because they will keep the water balanced better so you buy less chemicals. They quoted me over $6000 to replace my pool cover when I had two other companies in the range of 3000 to 3500. I needed the heater repaired. They said it needed to be replaced came in at double the price of everybody else. They came to do my pool closing they drain the water and said oh we can't close the pool now and we can't install the cover because the water needs to be back up to the normal level. Mind you they drain the water and then tell me to refill it. It's an absolute travesty that they are in business because it's one thing to rip people off but then do a bad job on top of it it's very pathetic. AVOID THIS COMPANY. They are the worst

Royal Pools. First off I'd like to say I don't like to bash on local businesses. But Royal really…read moredid me wrong. So....Where to start? In 2018 I hired Royal to install a new liner in my 18x36 in-ground along with a new light at the cost of $4200. After the liner was chosen and a deposit was paid Royal promptly began the job. They were scheduled to start the job on a Wednesday, but I came home from work on Monday with a crew in my yard and the old liner removed. When I asked how they got into my yard they said they jumped the fence and unlocked the gate. The liner/light were installed and the pool was filled within 7 days. Royal broke the stair moldings while removing the old liner. They promised to replace them, but after 2 months they came back and said I would need to drain the pool and replace the stair kit at the cost of $800. The moldings have still yet to be replaced 1.5yrs later. When the newly installed light did not work they told me I had an electrical problem. I hired an electrician to troubleshoot. Royal didn't not order/install the correct light. I needed a low voltage light. They installed a high voltage light into my pool?!?!?!?! Really? It cost me $100 for the electrician. When the pool was opened in 2019 the water level was low. After filling and losing about 1" of water a day I called Royal to inspect. The pool was green, as the balance would not hold steady, so they they sent a technician out to clean but he said it needed to be be shocked first. They charged $85 for that service call. He returned a few days later to sweep. They charged $125. They could not find the leak after the pool was clean. I then hired a diver who found the leak at the light housing that Royal installed in 2018. The diver charged me $210. I was hoping Royal would stand behind their service, but in the end they didn't care about the customer or their reputation, they just wanted their money and to be done with me.
