VERY DISAPPOINTED! Every year I order the holiday special. I got a half tray of pernil, Moro de guandules, half tray of green salad and a round platter of macaroni salad, with two 2 litters soda. When I placed the order with Danilda, I was very specific to tell her that I will be picking up the order on Friday but that the food needed to be very fresh because it was going to be consumed Saturday morning. I even called a second time someone said the manager will contact me that same day.. fast forward two weeks, still waiting for that phone call! Terrible service! Money wasted, our thanksgiving a mess because I put my trust in these people to feed my family. Been a loyal customer for the holidays for years and not even because of the loyalty do I get a call back! Shame on you Caribbean Station! Cada año ordeno el especial de días festivos. So I was tossed between giving 3 or 4 stars.... I was sick so my bf wanted to get me soup. We stopped here to see if they had chicken soup & what's in it. He knows I'm picky so he asked if he could get a sample to bring to me (waiting in the car). When I tasted the soup it was so flavorful!! We both liked it. He got me the large chicken soup (to go) which came w/a round foil container of white rice. He got himself a pork soup I think it was. ‍ He also decided to get an empanada for me as well. When I took a bite of the empanada it was only the shell. I looked in it to see what filling it was supposed to have. To my surprise what appeared to be chicken was MAYBE a teaspoon amount or less. SERIOUSLY???! That's what is being given to customers for an actual price?? (See pics). I have never in all of my empanada eating years seen such a thing. No bueno!! We were going to return it the next day but I left it in the fridge. Anyway because the soup was so good we returned a few more times in about a week's time. We had chicken, white rice, beans, ribs, potato salad, regular salad, tripe soup, rice & beans and some coconut hard flan like bar. My bf thought the potato salad was ok but I didn't like it at all. The tripe soup my bf liked & I didn't. It had a weird dirty taste to me. As if it wasn't cleaned well. I definitely won't get that again. We liked everything else including the sweet bbq sauce. It was just like a pineapple type bbq sauce. I wanted to give 4 stars because overall the food is good, the place appears to be clean & Josephine was very nice & helpful! Great service goes a long way w/me! Since we returned multiple times it's obvious that we like it. I wanted to give 3 stars because of the poor excuse of an empanada they had the nerve to charge for, the tripe soup; because no food item no matter what part of the animal it's from should taste "dirty" & lastly because I had the HARDEST time trying to find this place on Yelp! In person all of the signs say "Caribbean Station", as you can see on Yelp the name is in Spanish. Yes it says the same thing but what happens if you don't read/understand Spanish?! I was searching Yelp for the name I saw in person at the restaurant & on the containers. It doesn't come up. I had to go to the map & zoom in on the area where I know the restaurant to be. Portions are big but, food arrived cold, also rotisserie chicken was totally dark and dried, also the side of red beans basically looks like a soup with 4 beans floating around the bowl, flavors are good but they need to improve on food quality read more

Love this place! It's a great local spot that's super cheap and the food is delicious. The rice and beans with pernil are my go-to. The pernil is always juicy, I've never gotten it dry. I've also ordered trays for events and it's always good. I also love their empanadas. The guy who runs the restaurant is a sweetheart and doesn't mind frying fresh ones when I stop in at the end of the day. Depending on the time of day, the parking can be a little annoying but other than that, the place is great! read more

I have to say I go to a lot of Spanish restaurants and this by far is the best one. There food if really consistent and the staff is awesome. I've met the owner a few times, very nice guy always asking how he could improve to serve me better but everything is great! I would recommend for you to give it a try read more

Love coming here when I'm short on notice on what to eat and where to go. For a local restaurant they do a great job keeping up with the overall facility. Food is great and they usually have enough of whatever you're looking for. When they don't have something I don't even knock them because the food they serve is very good. read more

As a Dominican this is one of my go to places when my mom doesn't have time to cook. The food isn't that expensive compared to other places and it's really good. I usually get my food to go but the times that I've eaten in the service has been great! I recommend the juices, they may seem a bit pricy compared to the canned drinks they offer but they are worth it! They have a $1.99 special that comes with white rice, beans and chicken which is a great value and the quality is superb! read more

I was recently able to sample Estacion Caribe's food at a party they catered. Everything was delicious (pork, chicken, beef). Their potato salad is freaking awesome. I'd highly recommend checking it out. Can't wait to try the restaurant. read more

An okay restaurant to check out. Dominican rice and beans are okay. The pernil on the other hand, I highly recommend trying!! Definitely think it is a little overpriced for what it is. Wish they were a little more flexible when it came to their menu and the prices, but I guess the idea is to be more of a fast/food place rather than a mom and pops restaurant. The staff are friendly and more than willing to help explain the menu and how it works. Recommend checking this place if you are in a hurry and craving Dominican food. read more
