We were in town while doing some fossil digging and decided to check out local restaurants while we were here. I had the burger dip, which was exactly as described. I saw someone else's photo and was intrigued. Burger was cooked well and the combination worked to be dipped in au jus. My friends had a build your own chicken sandwich and the country fried steak. No complaints on the chicken sandwich and the white gravy for the country fried steak was flavorful and we'll seasoned. We came in the early evening for dinner and it wasn't too crowded. There were maybe 3 other tables by the time we placed our order. The problem here is a bit with the service. They were on point with drink refills. But like the other reviewers complained, it does take a while to get your food. We did see other tables show up and order after us and they got their food first. We suspect they favor getting orders out for the regulars/locals to keep them happy over people just passing through. We had no where else to go, so we stuck it out for a descent meal. Definitely beats the Arctic Circle for burgers hands down!

Atmosphere was as expected for this tiny restaurant in the west. The reviews set our expectations too high tho. The biggest problem is that service... I think if you come at a time that isn't busy you won't be unhappy. How we had 6 other groups eating at the same time as us. It took 20 minutes to order and another 40 for our food. Our food arrived cold and was clearly under the heat lamp for at least 20 minutes.... in one hour we got one drink refill when the food arrived. They gave our appetizer to the wrong table. The food itself was ok for being cold, hard to give it a fair review tho because it was likely better hot. We ordered the burger melt and the triple club. The beef was well done, the club looked perfect. The fry sauce was watered down and the fried avocado was forgettable and I wouldn't order it ever again.

Cute place. Hot turkey sandwich was good. Fry's were soggy and the pastrami was too tough, had to cut it to eat it.

You choose your seat inside or out and then they took our drink order. It took a little while to be helped but they make all drinks to order so it took a moment to get another table their lattes/lemonades. My coffee was unique and very good, and huge!! For 4 bucks and a free refill, youll bounce off the walls before finishing all that caffeine. I got oatmilk on the side for no upcharge, and it came with a cute cookie and some chocolate espresso beans. Yum! My fiance got a milkshake and i wasnt really impressed by it, it was very watered-down with a pretty mild flavor. The chicken gyro was really good. Super tender chicken with a soft pita, and a good portion size for me too (small!). I loved the raspberry vinaigrette and actually drizzled that all over my chicken too. The turkey panini looked decent but wasnt pressed like i expected from a panini. It looked more like a hot sandwich. Boy liked it though!

They have quite a large patio area with additional seating that would make this really appealing in nice weather. Like any cafe they offer a range of coffee drinks as well as ice cream. But there's a full menu with sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads and some special entrees. Also to our surprise they offer beer and wine too. I tried the Korean BBQ Beef Rice Bowl that was one of their special entrees today. It was a filling entree and quite flavorful. Since it was cold outside I also enjoyed a cup of their Rough Rider coffee and our server was quick to refill my cup. Included with your meal is a choice of one of three homemade cookies. I selected a snickerdoodle because who doesn't love a snickerdoodle.

Decently presentable, although, it's been slightly undercooked every time. The vegetables in my crepe are also never cut very well, so it's like biting into chunks of whole veggies. Still delicious! The vibes and decor are so cute. I love the honey feel of the location and backyard seating! Now for the cons... The staff is incredibly underwhelming and unprofessional. I understand it is a small family restaurant, but I have gotten dirty looks, a lot of attitude from the teenage girls, and the worst has been a few cashiers cut me off mid order because they are eavesdropping to their fellow staff's conversations and feel the need to join in... I repeated myself about 6 times with these couple guys because they were so inattentive while taking my order. I usually come when it's busy, so I understand it's hard to buss and clean tables quick. Although, I'll ask and patiently wait for a staff member to clean my table... only to go back 5-10 min later and see they're laughing and yapping with their other staff members. Rude. The only good interactions I have had so far have been with the sweet (I believe Asian) cooks who bring the drinks and food out. They are kind and quick with requests. I don't recommend coming more than once to try out the place, I probably will not be back.

We got the raspberry cream pie, a no-bake cookie, and a sugar cookie, and our whole family absolutely gobbled them up. They are short-staffed for the rest of the season, so there was a wait for our food, but they were incredibly upfront about it. There was a note on the door, and we were reminded several times before ordering that the wait could be around 45 minutes. We knew exactly what to expect, so it honestly wasn't a problem at all. Our family just shared everything as it came out, which ended up being really fun because we got to try so many things! The biscuits and gravy were probably the BEST I've ever had in my life. Seriously so good! We also tried the Nutella crepe, raspberry crepe, the Classico, and another crepe with dark chocolate, and every single one was delicious. Definitely worth the wait. Come with a little patience, enjoy the slower pace, and make sure you don't leave without trying something from the bakery!

This place has basically lost all its charm for me. i left an amazing review years ago and in the…read moreyears i've been back since it's been a steep downhill decline. I have always cut them slack in my mind because the poor employees were serving so many guests out of essentially a shed; but even with the massive new building they still have no clue how to run anything. every single year that I come here it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. at this point, you know youre a busy establishment. it's time to hire more people ??? train them better??? employees have no clue what they are doing. you walk in and no one greets you, tells you what to do, where to go, how to order. me and a group of 4 came in and ordered today, the first time we've been here where it's been generally pretty empty, i'm thinking this is a great sign and maybe this year will finally be a good experience! our group of 4 ordered iced coffees and given buzzers. our experience was waiting 40+ minutes for our buzzers to go off while so many people we saw sit and get their food way before us. not sure if crepes go faster than other food?? just sucks sitting there watching new tables sit and leave in the time none of us have had a buzzer go off ?? so we finally walk inside to see what's happening and all of our coffees are sitting on the counter melting. this is where i stopped and instantly started writing bc WTF!!! the order taker never said anything about how our drinks would come out. all we were told is the buzzer would go off when our order is ready. we were never asked our names even so if they were calling for the drinks i'm not sure what they would even call ?????? i get that the buzzer system and drink system should be different , then tell your damn customers "hey we're just gonna leave ur drinks to melt if you go find a seat outside so be checking the front every once in a while" i got a blended drink and they really just thought to leave it there ??????? the bathrooms were also disgusting and had no paper product in them ?? it's just every year i come here it seems like no one knows how to run the place. employees are clueless and sluggish. have been here for over an hour atp and the free water jugs with fruit in them would have been a nice touch if there were actually water in them ?? again this is an empty restaurant today. employees sitting behind the counter talking and no can refill the water jugs out here?? the coffee is the only thing saving them a single star. the coffee is genuinely good, i got a blended iced vanilla latte and if i had a chance to drink it actually frozen it could have saved me from this review. i ordered a BLTA and it should be renamed miracle whip sandwich. the wettest mayonnaisey thing i've ever eaten. i think they know they have a monopoly over coffee and breakfast lovers and they need to get out of their own ass and make some improvements, clearly we have a budget with the new building.... i'm just always so disappointed when i come here.
