We had such a great experience at Coffee and Crepes in Bear Lake! Everything we tried was SO tasty, but the bakery treats were especially yummy. We got the raspberry cream pie, a no-bake cookie, and a sugar cookie, and our whole family absolutely gobbled them up. They are short-staffed for the rest of the season, so there was a wait for our food, but they were incredibly upfront about it. There was a note on the door, and we were reminded several times before ordering that the wait could be around 45 minutes. We knew exactly what to expect, so it honestly wasn't a problem at all. Our family just shared everything as it came out, which ended up being really fun because we got to try so many things! The biscuits and gravy were probably the BEST I've ever had in my life. Seriously so good! We also tried the Nutella crepe, raspberry crepe, the Classico, and another crepe with dark chocolate, and every single one was delicious. Definitely worth the wait. I was really excited to eat here... until I actually ate. My turkey sandwich was just okay. The tomatoes they used were only the corners/ends, which was disappointing. I was seated close to the kitchen and noticed they don't wash the raspberries. I understand there might be a reason, but do I really want to eat unwashed fruit? I ordered one Nutella crepe and three iced coffees, but we were served one iced coffee and two hot coffees instead. We went back to the counter, and they had to remake the drinks 3 times. We then waited about 20 minutes for the Nutella crepe before asking our waitress about it, only to find out the order had never been sent to the kitchen. We also ordered breakfast with sourdough toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Instead of scrambled eggs, we were served hard-fried eggs, so that order had to be remade as well. It was frustrating because everyone around us seemed to receive exactly what they ordered, while our orders were either forgotten or prepared incorrectly. Mistakes can happen, but having multiple errors with the same table made for a disappointing experience. They also had daily specials written on the chalkboard. When I got to the counter and asked about them, the waiter told me they were no longer available and wasn't sure why they were still posted. A woman from the kitchen then came out and erased the entire chalkboard. It was confusing and made it seem like the specials should have been removed before customers saw them. We visited this place twice while we were in bear lake for the weekend. We stopped by on Saturday at 1ish and had coffee and decided to go back on Sunday for breakfast after looking at the menu. Don't do what we did, we spent two hours in line and another 30-45 minutes waiting for our order, by time we were done eating they were closing. We ate the Bobo and the Popeye crepes... the bobo had lots of flavor and highly recommend it. The coffee is very good too, I had a decaf latte with almond milk and my husband had the Carmel macchiato. When they called me up, they had a bowl that was at least 50% smaller than what I saw the day before. If I hadn't already waited 30 minutes and wasn't hungry I would have asked for a refund. Really cute and chill atmosphere! The crepes are made fresh to order and all the ingredients are of the highest quality. The crepe is thick, almost like a pita, and they can honestly be eaten as a full meal. The raspberry crepe was my personal fav! The berries were the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Then when we ordered they told us our crepes would take 1hr is that ok. We agreed but it took 1 hr and 27 minutes for our food to come on a Sunday. Long wait but food was worth it.
