Excellent experience. Our server, Kane, was very pleasant, friendly, & helpful. I really enjoyed my Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and gravy. The mashed potatoes were real and hot! My wife had the shrimp Alfredo. She loved it but could not finish it all as the portion being so large. We finished off our meals sharing a piece of home made cherry pie. Yum yum. They charge too much for the hamburger/ cheeseburger/ patty melt and all their food then charge more for fries. DON'T eat there. THIS place needs to close!! Seriously! They stink like an ashtray. And they do drugs out back! Their 4&5 stars are fake. read more

Apparently sit down restaurants in this city are hard to come by. We stopped here because I didn't want fast food. The food is ok-ish. My steak was cooked the way I like it. I didn't care for the Parmesan seasoning on the steak. My daughter wasn't a fan of the spaghetti. The baked potato was really good. The service was amazing but it didn't make up for the food. Also 3 stars because I couldn't get hot water in the bathroom to wash my hands. read more

The Wagyu burger with steak fries was one of the best I've had anywhere. Meat was tasty and juicy, tomatoes were generous, bun didn't turn to mush and the fries were thick planks of fresh potato fried to a golden brown crisp. The place is inviting and service friendly and just attentive enough. They got our picky order just right and with a smile. We always stop here on our way to somewhere. read more

We had the most wonderful family dinner on our trip to Kemmerer, WY. The food was excellent. Our server ( a nice young man) was very sweet too! We were looking for a good meal after a busy day of fossil hunting and Kettle did not disappoint. My husband and son had the steak and I had the salmon. My daughter enjoyed the pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection! I would say this is the best family restaurant in Kemmerer! Plus the owners were very kind and took time to speak to me and my kids about our trip. Stopped in on my travel back home day. The atmosphere is a cozy, family-run diner feel. Service was friendly and not rushed. The food was just plain good. No gimmicks, just good old-fashioned home cooking. Not fast (so don't come if you're in hurry) but fresh and left me full and happy. read more

I know this is a small town; however, I cannot recommend this place unless all other options have been exhausted. The restaurant was clean, which is why I give it 2 stars and not 1. One person in my group commented it was probably the worst steak he's ever had. I asked for a side order of pasta and was charged a for a whole portion even though my plate did not have a protein. Service was slow and confused; they were not busy. I should have got food from the grocery store instead. read more

Pretty good food options and good friendly service! No complains on the salad, good dressing and fresh veggies. The buffalo or "kettle wings" We're the highlight here, we ordered 2 Servings! Now, if you're expecting them to be spicy, they really aren't. Most of my group my self included can't tolerate spicy food, but these wings had a nice warmth to them which allowed us to really taste the sauce. We were even debating asking if they sold it bottled. If I had to compare I'd say it's like a less spicy Uncle Dougie's. The kettle chips We're nice and crispy, I suspect they were baked and then fried. Having them crispy helped the nacho cheese sauce not leave them very soggy. The steak they did over cook, we asked for rare, but got somewhere between medium and medium rare, but it was still juicy and so it was not necessarily ruined. The fried chicken was a boneless chicken breast as described on the menu, but was super dry. Because it was over fried it also lost most of its flavor. I was expecting more of a battered & breaded coating, but I think it was just marinated and fried. I did wind up using the chicken to mop up the extra buffalo sauce with it, so it worked out. The green beans were boiled and bland, but that's just a thing and I prefer them still crispy so that's just a style preference. The brown gravy for the potatoes though was pretty tasty. I loved that they had a small outdoor sitting area with a really nice view, although make sure to wear deet since the mosquitos were starting to hover in the late afternoon/early evening. During our stay in Kemmerer we had a couple dinners at The Kettle. Spaghetti & meatballs were delicious & a good size portion. My husband had the steak & mashed potatoes with fresh snap peas cooked to perfection. It was a thumbs up. The second night we ate there the cook had mad a delicious ham & bean soup. The staff is super friendly, restaurant is clean & they were open on Sunday when everything else was closed. We will definitely be back on our next trip through Kemmerer. read more

Don't listen to the negative reviews. I stopped in with my family after a hunting trip and we were extremely happy to have such a great meal. My husband says the patty melt was the best he ever had. It was clean,bathrooms clean, fair priced and the service was fast. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Went in for an early dinner after spending the day at the Lake. We were greeted and taken care of by Samantha. She introduced herself and was very pleasant. She explained the menu for any questions our party of 3 had. The Iced Tea was on point and very refreshing after a hot day on the water. Our food was excellent and came out within a timely manner. Shortly after arriving the entire place filled up in minutes. Samantha was running around and ensuring that every customer's demands were met and she did it happily. Kudos for such a hardworking and friendly person :) We had a great experience and will be be back! read more

We were on our way to Green River and were starving. The only place open on Memorial Day weekend was this restaurant. We went and had a surprisingly great meal here. My husband had the ribeye steak and my daughter ordered the sirloin steak. They added mushrooms and onions for another $1.50 and it was worth it. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was good. Overall service was great, we had our bellies filled and were on our way. read more
