Got a "To-Go" order of steaks, salad and baked potatoes. Steak was good, salad is probably out of a bag, but it was ok. Baked potato was ok, not great. The only real negative was that they didn't put any salt/pepper, sour cream or butter in with our order. Probably best to eat in vs. take-out. read more

I was visiting from Utah to watch my twin boys compete in and win their basketball tournament! By the end of the day I was starving! I googled best steakhouses near me and Bootleggers popped up. I was greeted with a smile by Tyler who was also my server! He made the night an awesome experience even though he was a new server! He was kind, professional, caring, detailed, helpful, friendly and just did a super awesome job! My compliments to the chefs! The food was amazing! I haven't had a Ribeye steak this good, grilled yo perfection at medium rare in a long time! It was tender, juicy, bursting with authentic Wyoming beef flavor and it just melted in my mouth! I ate everything on my plate the food was so good. When it was gone I found myself salivating wishing that there was more of that juice steak that was cooked to perfection! I am out here from California on a work trip, we heard about this place and they did not disappoint!! This place blows many steak houses in California that I had been toout of the water. I ordered the rib eye it was huge and perfectly cooked. After our meal we chatted it up with the owner for about 30 minutes he told us story's about the Coal mines and other things about this area, great guy. I definitely reccomend this place. read more

So glad I stopped! I was a little cautious, but the few reviews I read convinced me to give it a whirl. The restaurant was clean and the staff were especially friendly and accommodating. Food was decent. Waitress was nice but my small teenager wasn't very hungry and wanted to order off kids menu. They wouldn't Let Her order BC she was not 8. So we had to order an adult meal which she ate 1/4 of and I had to share so so much wouldn't go to waste. We were traveling thru so leftovers were not an option. Was visiting Kemmerer for business and picked a Steak House that I found in the Hotel recommendation book. I got the New York Sirloin 14 oz Steak and asked for it cooked Medium, and it came back more Well than I would have liked, but it was still a great steak. The fries are actual fries from potatoes (not that others aren't), but you could tell these were fresh and not mixed with other batter or pre-frozen, and they were delicious. read more

Walk in and ask for table for 3 (5:40pm). we were asked if we had a res. nope. many tables open. told 6:30 was next res. ever been in Kemmerer/Diamondville? Reservations, really? Left and found no place to eat that we thought acceptable. Called this place back at 6:00 and asked for the next reservation. same guy says just come on in right now. really? no business in this area can afford to turn $ away. numerous businesses boarded up and for sale signs everywhere you look. read more

Yummy! Bootleggers food is delicious! But despite that added perk, the owners were extremely accommodating to our large group of 35 for lunch. Everything was perfect!! Great steaks 16-28 oz enough for 2 people. Rib eye was seasoned well and as tender as a filet mignon a local place and enjoyable.

This ain't L.A. baby. But it's good food. Good service. Friendly staff. Salad bar was minimal but clean and fresh. Had the ribs and they were good. Soup was extremely good. The pie's look great but I said no to a piece. Had I stayed another night I would've tried the chicken fried chicken it looked great and is apparently made fresh daily. read more
