Stopped by this Caribou after wrapping up a fishing adventure. I did see that they have a drive thru which is nice. We opted to go in since there were multiple of us with specific orders. This location is decent. Smaller but has seating inside as well a sidewalk patio. They were pretty busy when we got there and the line stayed pretty consistent. I went with an iced matcha which isn't the greatest here. It kind of tastes more like milk than matcha. There doesn't seem to be many options for coffee in this area. They had some cute cups and merch available for purchase. I did end up getting a cup. If you are buying merch you have to watch for the tip prompt. I tipped $5 on a $8 drink basically because the percentage included the price of merch. read more

I have visited this caribou a few times. The first time I visited it was extremely busy and the staff was rocking it! While I was at the pickup counter I said "you guys are rocking it." No one must have heard me because there was no acknowledgment. I return another morning and I had a new person helping me at the register. Morgan was of great help and he was always wearing such a beautiful smile. He got my dog a pup cup which made both my dog and I happy. I returned the next day to fill my coffee addiction again. I went to the drive-thru this time and I was not surprised when I got to the window that it was Morgan helping me again. His customer service is top-notch and makes me want to continue to frequent this location! read more

I have been ordering via the mobile app for about a year to this location and have an incorrect drink once a week. While that isn't really the end of the world, this morning I called because for the last week or so, I've consistently had wayyy too much ice in my drink when I opt for less ice on the app. The female manager I spoke to this morning was not only rude and cut me off many times, but told me how I can avoid this by coming in to order my drink? Why did this become my issue when I ordered it correctly on the app? When I told her I didn't appreciate her cutting me off when I'm trying to explain why I'm frustrated, she said "you cut me off first". That might be the wildest thing that has been said to me by a customer service manager in awhile. First you tell me how I can avoid YOUR error, and then when you cut me off, tell me I cut you off first? That's not how management works and you need to learn how to talk to people if you're going to consider management. I've also seen the way she talks to the team when I've been in and she is not kind with her words to the employees. If I'm paying $8/$9 a drink every morning, please just read what I'm asking for on the order. I would have done 1 star but the rest of the team doesn't deserve it because they are great. read more

They didn't make any more of the drink and add it to make it the large I paid for. They gave me a medium drink in a large cup. Soooo whoever runs this place needs to make up their minds. Every single day they have new covid policy: some days you can order in-house and other days the employees snap at you for stepping foot inside. Some days they've even barricaded the doors with the to-go tables to prevent people from walking inside. I work near a Caribou in Bloomington and this is not standard practice across their locations. A nice location and the people that I have interacted with are nice. They how very struggle with correct when it comes to making drinks 2 of the last 3 times they have gotten my order incorrect. I ordered a turtle cooler and gave me a turtle latte. Frustrating it it happens, this time they actually got me the correct drink but barely blended it. Most was just full ice chunks. I was in there today around 10:20am. I was at the drive through. I order a chicken apple sausage sandwich, a small green tea lemonade, and $10.00 dollar gift. Total came to 18.04. I gave 50.05, change back 42.01. I didn't get a receipt for it. But I didn't receive my gift card went back I less then 3 minutes. No one in was able to help me. It's unfortunate, but that was really poor customer service. I also tip and paid and additional 10.00 for a gift card. I will to not return here. read more

In the worldwide search for good coffee Caribou does a good job. I prefer Caribou over Starbucks when it comes to chains, but living in Florida has proved finding a Caribou Coffee in Florida as difficult as finding a caribou in Florida. I recently had the cold press which was excellent. The bitterness was removed which is what I love about cold brew/press. The coffee did seem a little on the weaker side, but the flavor was good. I would order it again for the flavor and hope that maybe it was just a weaker batch. The staff is very friendly here and the drive thru can make for a quick stop by or can get a little backed up if they are busy which could turn into not such a speedy coffee run. read more

I moved to suburbia temporarily, thus I needed to find a new coffee shop to inhabit. Even though I'm not a huge "chain" person, this is a great 'bou. The baristas are really friendly (and they come around with free samples) and the tall windows fill the space with a lot of natural light (don't worry computer-heads, there are shades in case the glare on your laptop gets to be too much). My only concern is the size of the place. It's not a small Caribou by any means, but it was packed all afternoon--so plan accordingly! read more

Unfriendly barista The lady who first served me and rang up my coffee and food was wonderful but that was erased by the barista who was rude and crabby I asked for the blueberry oatmeal choice. The barista gave me the wrong kind. I nicely said I ordered the Blueberry. So she slammed the wrong oatmeal she made into the trash. She made the blueberry oatmeal. It didn't seem like she put in enough hot water and so I nicely asked about that. She said to wait a few minutes and it would be fine (it wasn't ) it still was dry and the oatmeal hadn't softened. I went back to her to get more water and tried to explain. She took my oatmeal cup and, once again, slammed it into the garbage. She gave me another blueberry post meal cup and AGAIN, it didn't have enough water to soften the oatmeal. I waited 15 min. Finally I asked for more hot water. KNOWING if she did it, she would throw it in the trash. She also commented that the amount she puts in is enough and that's how they do it. So I guess the customer is wrong there. As a former Caribou employee I was appalled by the 15 minute wait for a large cup of black coffee (drive thru, 7/19/15). The staff is in serious need of a manger able to inspire, lead, and hold employees accountable. The company standard is 180 seconds from order to receipt of product. They've failed to live up to the goal. Caribou says, "Life's short, stay awake for it." They're right, but I'm not going to waste my time waiting in line at the Caribou in Mound. I stop in frequently on weekday mornings anytime between 6-8 AM and sadly they are usually understaffed and slow. The drive through is really slow so going inside is usually the best option. It would be nice to be able to get a quick regular coffee on workdays rather than the 10 minutes of waiting. read more

I have never experienced such rudeness, especially during Covid when they should be cherishing every customer!! I wanted to do something special for my son before school, so wanted to pop into Caribou to grab his favorite cinnamon crumb cake. I have never been to this location but due to road closures it was on our way. I parked and went inside and noticed their dining room was closed but they did have a table in the front of the house with a sign, saying- that they prefer customers to do drive thru, or place order through the Caribou app. However, if you are not able to do either we will take your order in house and be with you shortly. So I stood there and waited patiently. One server delivered coffees to the table where I was standing and rushed back without saying anything to me. This happened two more times. I figured she would be back to take my order shortly. In the meantime other staff saw that I was standing there. After ten minutes I called out that I hadn't ordered yet, thinking maybe they thought I was waiting for an order I placed on the app. She walked over and said, "No, you have to use the drive thru or app." I pointed to the sign and said that was not what their sign said. She shook her head and said, "yea, well, we are too busy. We aren't doing that.", and turned and walked away. No apology. Let's be clear there were only five cars in the drive thru and obviously no one in the dining room, and looked like three to four employees. I couldn't believe the rudeness AND dismissiveness. That took nearly fifteen minutes and we were getting close for school to start, and gratefully I was able to pop into the Caribou in Tonka Bay. They were super kind, welcoming and fast! Shame on you Mound Caribou, it doesn't take that much to be kind to your customers, especially during this era of Covid when small business is struggling!!! read more

I stopped into this Mound, MN location to take advantage of the 'buy-one-get-one free" offer for frequent buyers on Valentines Day weekend at about 2pm. In characteristic form for this location, the clerk (Karly G.) was sweet, friendly and helpful. Made sure that my order was just the way I like it ... cheerfully celebrated with me that I was able to get this deal ... and they prepared two, handcrafted beverages with extra espresso shots quickly and effortlessly. Love their coffee and I enjoy all the nice, money-saving offers they send to me. I've never been disappointed here! read more

I stop here almost every morning and the employees here are fantastic! Especially Misty and Carrie. I love the homey feeling inside during the winter months where I can spend endless hours visiting with friends and family or use it as a nice getaway with my headphones in, relaxing.
